Is it possible for the coil head to out last the wicks? I mean is there a point where the wicks get clogged or can't absorb the juice correctly any longer giving you a sub par vape?

Ok. How long does a typical coil head last? I guess I'll find out soon enough, just hope I don't find out to soon! Do they just suddenly quit when done or do they slowly deteriorate?

Tameiki... And that's exactly what I did. I emptied the darker juice in my big juice bottle, took the whole unit apart, wiped everything down and added fresh juice. It's all good. ;-)

Just an observation, I'm starting to notice that the juice in the tank seems to get darker and and maybe thicker as time goes on with every refill... Is this common? I never let it run completely out as I don't want to get the wicks to dry. I use Silver Leaf Menthol, 0.8 nic if this explains anything.

Ok just a couple of quick observations since getting this last night... First off, at least with mine, I learned not to fill above the 200ml mark. Even right at that mark, mine may leak juice and gurgle for a bit before settling down. No biggie I know that now, but another thing is, one full tank will no way last me all day and into the early evening hours. When it gets kinda low I'll turn my ecig upside down to make sure the wicks remain saturated, and shortly after that I'll just fill er up again. Still, it's a great vape and wouldn't go back to cartos for nuthin. Now to see how long the coil heads last...

Ok just got the Vivi Nova Mini... Filled her up... took a few hits... Oh hell yes! Should have done this long ago. And now I'm stuck with a bunch of cartos they I ordered not long ago. Oh well, good for backups. But there's no doubt this system is superior in every way. Now to get the sleeves. I can see how besides the aesthetics factor, it would beef up the connection better between the tank and bat for strength. Thanks again for the input on this!

Good to hear Krystal68, because I ordered extra 1.8 coil heads with the mini. Can't wait to ditch these cartomisers!

Thanks Jeffb, so since I have the Ego 3.7 volt battery, which of the other coil heads would burn a little hotter for a stronger vape? The 2.8 ohm one? I can't remember which is hotter, the higher or lower ohm...

Ok so the bigger set up seems to come with these 3 different coils heads : 1.8ohm NEW Updated V2.5 Coil Head2.4ohm NEW Updated V2.5 Coil Head2.8ohm NEW Updated V2.5 Coil Head The mini comes with only one (from the same website) which is the 2.4 head. I would most people think this is the best of the 3? Personally I've always thought the LR atomizer and carts performed the best, wondering which ohm head would perform the best?

And it seems the kit comes with 3 different coils, (with the wicks coming out) and each one has a different volt setting? . Which one gives the best vape? I guess that could be subjective.

I'm looking to get away from cartomisers, and this seems pretty good, but would be great to get some feedback before I pull the trigger... Or any other suggestions would be great as well. Thanks for the replies... Well I know one thing, I'll be going to some kind of tank device instead of carts. A friend gave me one of these, does anyone have any input on these? I loved it... while it lasted, and that was only about 4 days, then it just quit out of nowhere. I also noticed that every time I filled it, the juice got darker and thicker every time for some reason. But I loved the fact that you could see exactly how much juice you have and that each hit tasted the same from beginning to end. But I don't trust the longevity of them. My friends tank (same make/model) just broke about two days after mine died.. So I'm gonna look into the Vivi ones. Here's the one I had that worked great while it lasted...

I'll start off by saying... Still no analogs, been 2 years last Oct! All is good there, however, I've been increasingly disappointed with cartomisers, which I've been using exclusively 99% of the time. I'm getting duds, I'm getting ones that completely quit working after an hours use, the overall quality control of these seem to be lacking greatly. So, I'm looking to upgrade to something better. I've been using the Ego with LR carts the whole time. I was looking at this one, the one that with the Tank. Anybody have any thoughts about these? I also don't like the way carts slowly diminish in taste and performance over the time using them. My girlfriends sisters husband in MN said he tried the tank one and liked it because you are can refill it and the first hit is as good as the last, he likes it. This is the one he has. No worries. Personally I always thought that the dangers of 2nd hand analog smoke was blown out of perportion, so I'm not concerned about this. I guess I was more just making a comment on noticing how the vapor can be seen lingering for several minutes if illuminated the right way, and like you say, under the right conditions.

I noticed something different the other day while vaping. I had the shades open, and super bright sunshine was streaming through the windows into the room. This illuminated the vape more than ever before, and was surprised to see how long the vapor lasted, and how far it traveled in the room. I mean it reminded me of cigarette smoke! In any lesser light, you'll never see this, and vapor seems to dissapear in seconds, but this told me a different story. So even if its minimal, I'm wondering if others are in more contact with what we vape than we think ...

I notice no difference in sensitivity since vaping.. however,since I've started vaping I've been wondering if it still can stain your teeth like nic does from analogs.. or is that from tar that e cigs don't have....sorry don't mean to change the subject.

It's been only LR for me, whether it's Cartos or atty's. I'll never use standard, but I just tried a regular atty yesterday because we are out of LR ones. I wasted 3 drops of good juice in it. Only got a fraction of the vapor I get with LR's. For me, going from regular to LR is good thing, but going from LR to regular doesn't cut the mustard at all once you're used to how a LR performs. It seems to me LR's work great with the 3.7v Ego bat, but I don't think it's recommended to go HV with them, you may just fry em, or they won't last as long.

Currently using Silver Leaf Menthol from puresmoker, good stuff. would like to try the VT Mentha if it's ever in stock when we are getting low and ready to order again. Can't seem to get that timing right...
