  1. At first, I was amazed at this, but then again, it is California, and of course I live there. Apparently one of the reasons is because... Ready? Vaping may influence other people to start smoking cigarettes. This cannot pass! http://m.nbclosangeles.com/nbclosangeles/pm_107879/contentdetail.htm?contentguid=xBcMY4XM
  2. Yeah I'm always ready to try something new. It's weird, since I got the Spinner bat, I'm really liking my old LR cartomizers again, I'm finding I get just as much vape as I do with the Vivi Nova tank, but with a fresher, stronger TH. I Could never get that with using cartos with my old ego bat.
  3. What a goof ball.. Yeah those don't look to promising do they, oh well, Thx for the post though! ;-)
  4. Anyone have any experience using these with a spinner battery? I was thinking of giving them a try, I've never used them, only the regular LR cartomizers. Here's a link.. http://www.sweet-vapes.com/shop?page=shop.product_details&flypage=vmj_color_plus.tpl&product_id=256&category_id=21
  5. @kitsune... I love long answers :-) to often a short reply leaves me hanging wanting more explanation, and you covered the bases Thx. Actually, I'm finding that using a LR cartomizer with my spinner at about 4.5 volts is giving me the best vape of all! Surprised it hasn't popped at that voltage but it doing good. I get at least as much vapor as the Vivi Nova maybe more, with a better TH to boot.. I'm almost wondering now it it was worth getting the Vivi Nova but I'm still glad I have it, but it makes for a milder hit it seems. But I appreciate your comprehensive response!
  6. Thanks kitsune, so how would you compare the cartomizer tanks with the coil head tanks? Pros and cons between the two? I'm always looking for a better vape. I really like the Vivi Nova, but notice after the tank gets less than half full, the vape loses its punch, even when rolling the ecig around on its side to keep the wicks wet. It's almost like the bottom 1/4 or so of juice is almost a waste as I just fill it to the top again to get the good vape back.
  7. Ok I feel like a dope. I knew cartos won't fit in a Vivi nova tank lol, must have had a brain fart... My bad...
  8. I was a menthol smoker for years, and when I started vaping, and quit analogs, I tried many different flavors, including some of the tootie frooty ones, but I always come back to this one. It's a pretty good straight up menthol flavor that's nice and smooth.. http://www.puresmoker.com/product_p/tonicslmenthol.htm
  9. I've heard about this here and there... Can anyone elaborate? I mean, one hole? Two holes? And where is the best place to punch them. I can put them in my Vivi Nova mini tank no problem? Still loving the Spinner battery. I currently have it set up with a 2.4 ohm head, with the voltage set right between the 4.3 and 4.8 mark. Great vape, but would like to learn more about punching cartos to put in my tank...
  10. Wait.. Is it true it's not good to charge the Spinner bat overnight? Isn't there a safety shut off in the charger or battery so it won't overcharge like virtually any other battery / charger? I'd like to charge overnight so I have a fresh battery the next morning if possible...
  11. Ninjabat quote: "It's awesome being able to add more volts to fix a lame throat hit." Ya got that right!
  12. Good info ninjabat Thx. Now I'm thinking my new spinner wasn't fully charged when I used it for the first time.. That's Ok, I'll just leave it on the charger all night tonight and see if it's a solid green tomorrow. Got it set between 3.8 and 4.3 volts now. Even better vape! Afraid to go much higher with this 1.8 ohm head. But this is definitely better than the fixed 3.2 volt stock bats. Thing is, my ecig is WAY longer with the 900mah Spinner.
  13. Ok well what I was wondering was... It's hard to go by the charger lite when it flashes green and red, like I said, my wall charger shows solid red when charging, and solid green when my regular 650mah bats are fully charged. When I went to charge the new spinner, the LED button remained on (which you said was normal) but then it went off a few minutes later. Then my wall charger light flashed green and red, which I've never seen before. Anyways, I took it off the charger (I'm assuming it's fully charged) and am using it now. So far so good, got it set right between 3.3 and 3.8 volts, with a 1.8ohm coil head... working good!
  14. Very good.. So now the led light is not lit... Does that mean it's fully charged? Because the regular charger light that turns green when fully charged is flashing red-green-red-green.. Never seen my charger do that?
  15. Ok I just got my spinner. Thought I'd plug it in to the the charger to make sure I start off with a full charge.. Is the led button supposed to remain lit while charging? Because that's what mine is doing...
  16. I'm thinking that the "bottom feeders" have the better design though no? I mean, I recently got a vivi nova, and like it a lot, but the lower the juice gets the more you have to turn your ecig horizontal every few hits to keep the wicks wet with the juice. With the coil / wicks on the bottom, the wicks drying out would never be an issue until you're completely empty. Or am I missing something?
  17. Well when I took my first vape, it was with high strength juice, and after the first 3 big hits dripping with a LR atomizer, I got so freakin dizzy I couldn't believe it. Right away I knew it was to strong, couldn't even sleep right away. Now I do the lowest strength, which is 0.8 nic %. Sometimes I feel that that is to weak, but I stick with it. I really need that throat hit though even if it's not big. My g/f smokes 0% nic, and no way could I do that, I'd probably just quit all together if 0 nic was my only option. But I absolutely agree with Northern Girl, much of the satisfaction for me comes from seeing a large, thick, billowing cloud exit when I exhale! No doubt about it. I could get plenty of nic in a hit but still wouldn't have the full satisfaction without a good cloud... Which makes me wonder... How many would still vape with very little or no cloud at all? Would simply injesting nicotine be enough? It would pretty much ruin it for me, I bet I wouldn't vape nearly as much... which then makes me wonder... How addicted to nic am I really...
  18. More great info.. Thx Tameiki... You and others have been a great help!
  19. Ah ok... Yes I used to drip when I first started with the LR atomizer, and I loved it. Just couldn't do the constant dripping every few hits.. But it's a great vape! Wish I would have known about Brians site earlier, I would have ordered the 1.8 heads. I just ordered five 2.4 heads, but with the variable voltage on the new bat I'm hoping for a decent vape with them. But thanks a bunch for your help and supplying those links, appreciate it! I bookmarked Brians site. ;-)
  20. Damn... I just ordered the 2.4 heads! But getting back to your link.. I'm confused. Those don't go inside a vivi nova tank do they? I thought your link would show coil heads since I'm using a tank?
  21. I can't find 1.8 ohm heads in stock anywhere! Since I'm getting a bat with adjustable voltage, would it be okay to order 2.4 heads if I can find them? Would the vape be decent if I upped the voltage?
  22. Thanks Tameiki. I didn't know you could go that high with volts thru a 1.8 ohm head. So yeah looks like I'll give it a try. I'm thinking I'll get a better vape turning it up a notch or two.
  23. Ok so the batteries I have from our first kit (Joye Ego) are probably over two years old now, and I seem to experience less life, I mean they still work but seem to lose full vape power before half way done. So, I'm looking to get a new battery, but am thinking of upgrading maybe to a twist battery. Thing is, I've been ready to also get a bunch of 1.8 ohm coil heads, but I need a bigger vape than I'm getting now with the 3.2 volt batteries with the 1.8 coil heads. Would it be okay to get the twist bat and up the voltage a bit with the 1.8 heads? I don't want to burn the head out at that ohm.. Or should I try a higher ohm head and turn the voltage up a bit?
  24. I'm using the 1.8 coil / wicks that came with the Vivi Nova Mini.
