About Juice Flavors, That Change Over Time...
AimeeG replied to asmcriminal's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Yeah, I agree, asmcriminal, about the flavor being consistent with analogs. However, I think of vape liquids and their flavor more like food: when I'm eating something, the first bite is really good, then my taste buds grow accustomed to it, and it doesn't taste as scrumptious at the last bite. Maybe that is also a function of our body telling us it's time to stop eating. Since our taste buds are tasting a flavor with the vaping liquids, it may be doing a similar thing. Or maybe think of it like this, too: when you go into a place with a distinct odor, after a while your nose becomes accustomed to it, too. Regular cigarettes and their consistent smell and taste, well, maybe that is part of the 4000 chemicals and nastiness they put in them. Again... but I'll sure take vaping any day over analogs now. -
Last question answered first: 10ml for $7.99. Worth every penny for the flavors I love. I have the cappuccino. It does have some sweetness to it, but not heavy. Not biter, not at all, to me. It has a creamy feel, too. It seemed a bit light at first, but now that my taste buds have "healed" it is very good as a first-vape-of-the-day. I just tried VT caramel macchiato today. Unfortunately my atomizer had lingering tastes of last night's orange cream pop (different vendor), so I can't say for sure how good it is. It was still good, but I'm sure it's not supposed to have orange hints. Midnight is one of my night time vape flavors. It's like wine. It's like New Year's Eve. It's pretty yummy. I hear there's this flavor called Dulcis, and it's really good. Ok, kidding. I've not only heard, I've bought about 30 bottles of it so far. I can't be without it. It's my all day liquid. I love it. It is smooth and rich and tasty, but never thick or heavy. Other people will have to chime in about Grape. I don't really care for anything grape flavored. I also like pina colada, cola, and the new butterscotch. Good luck finding your perfect fit on liquid. It is worth the journey. Vape on!

I concur. Switching works great for keeping flavors, ummm, flavorful. -
Dulcis = heaven in a vape

From what I understand, a few drops of straight up menthol will help with throat hit without destroying the flavor of what you're vaping. You might put one drop in with the macchiato in a cartomizer and see how that works. I think some people even recommend buying such stuff from the candy or cake baking area of hobby stores. Kitsune, where are you? Good luck, Andy, and welcome.

Nice job! I ordered a kit for my best friend. I'm shipping it off to her for Christmas. I hope I hear the same reaction you have!

It'll weaken the flavor a little bit, but you could add some plain PG or VG to your 12mg bottles to make it 10mg. Up to you. Vape on!

Looking forward to the video. I've filled three and only the one with atomic cinnacide tasted good. I didn't think I filled them differently, but maybe I did.

Too much liquid? for vaping? NEVER! There's never enough, I want to try, try, try all kinds of stuff. But if I ever run out of Dulcis, I'm screwed.

This is the best part of using an electronic cigarette, especially now that it is cold (well, at least it is in MI). Oh, and that there are so many flavors to try. And that some of those flavors make it so I don't feel the need to consume as much alcohol. And, of course, my health is much better. Welcome aboard, mrar! Looking forward to hearing how it goes for you when your stuff arrives!

I'm sure there's a similar video for healthcare out there. Similar issues there, too, I'm afraid, right, Mastiffmom?

If you liked those Chris vs. Noobie and Chris vs. FDA videos, you might like this one: http://www.xtranormal.com/watch/7840699/ The last minute really sums it up. Sigh. Thankfully, most of the stuff talked about in the video has not hit my school district. Yet. It's coming though, I can feel it.

What Flavor Are You Vaping Right Now ?
AimeeG replied to kitsune's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Back to VT Midnight for me... along with a glass of vino. A big glass... heck, the entire bottle, probably. I just graded about eighty seventh grade creative stories. Thankfully with vape in hand and their stories won't smell like analogs when I give them back... YEAH! Not that I ever graded and smoked analogs before, but I am soooo thankful to get my nic hit while I'm grading now... love this! Vape (and drink) on! -
YEAH!!! And don't be sorry for being new... we were all there at one point! So happy for you. Vape on!

MaryAnn, you are a lucky, lucky woman! So glad for you. Also, I absolutely agree with DJJROCK: you write very well.

What Flavor Are You Vaping Right Now ?
AimeeG replied to kitsune's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Just received my Tasty Vapor items. Waiting to try the Atomic Cinnacide for when I have a fresh atty since I understand it will take over and not let other flavors play later. However, right now, I am thoroughly enjoying Orange CreamPop. Pretty darn good so far! Can't wait until they have the buy-two-get-one-free option again. I have five more flavors in my wish list. -
Yeah, for thousands of flavors of ecig liquid!
-
Ummm.... dude..... Hey, Christopher, can we also add the /sarcasm string to DAYVAPE's post? K, thnx.

I have found, and I believe others have, too, that liquid from wordup needs a bit of time to sit to fully flavor up. They make it to order, so your order was made shortly after you ordered it. I have some lime that I ordered in my first order from them back in August that has quite an impact now. It's like it mellowed and settled into what it was supposed to be. I'd say this difference was at least two weeks from when I first tried it. I know it's tough to wait. But it might be worth it. And at the end, like Brian said, you can trade or sell it here. You also might try getting some menthol crystals or DIY no nic menthol liquid. Some people find that when used very sparingly in any flavor they get, it adds to the throat hit without overpowering the flavor, say at like two drops per 10ml bottle. You could add much more than that, of course, to get that menthol you're really looking for. Do contact Jeffrey at wordup. I'm sure he'll have some advice for you. But, I agree with Brian, vendors don't typically do returns. You'll find something that works, soon I hope!

The Blu cig might work out for you. From what I understand, though, it doesn't produce much vapor, but you didn't smoke, so this may be no big deal to you. It also doesn't have a very long battery life between charges, which may be a bigger deal for you since you can keep dip in your mouth a long time, getting a pretty much constant stream of nic. I would check out a 510 kit, if I were you. There is such a kit available in the VaporTalk store (link at the top of the page). Even an eGo might work well for you. Biggest difference between the 510 and the eGo is battery life. Let us know what else you have questions about. We're here for you! Good luck with your gum disease. That's no fun. Also, welcome to VaporTalk!

Where To Buy Polyfil That Doesn't Taste Bad!
AimeeG replied to Jkimbo's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Ok, Ellynn99, I replied to your question in your other topic and now I'm seeing this. I went to strictly ejuice and I saw the blue foam diagram kitsune refers to. That diagram makes no sense to me. How do you fill a cartidge 3/4 full of liquid without it coming out the mouthpiece hole at the end? Is there something going on with cartridges that I don't realize? I received some of this blue foam as a sample from another vendor and I just might try it now. Well, I will if I can figure out the diagram. -
fino4beat, I had that problem, too! Three things I did to make it stop making a mess: 1) Put 1ml of VG in my partially used (almost 9ml left, I guessed), 10ml bottles. Yeah, it cut down the flavor a bit, but it sure kept things a bit thicker. 2) When I put my LR atty on my eGo, I make sure the holes on the atty line up with the notched out parts on the battery. This seems to help with airflow and allow it not to overheat as much. At least this is my theory. 3) Wait until the eGo cools before adding more liquid. Usually two minutes will do. Also, I found, for me, two and a half drops works well. How do I get two and a half? The half rather dribbles out when I place the bottle tip up against the drip tip and I don't really squeeze. I do keep the cone on. It looks cool. And I want to look cool even if I'm at home. Also, I can be a chain vaper, so I know it can heat up pretty quickly. If you're still trying to figure out what sounds like a mega atty (cone and atty together), I think there is another thread about it. Somewhere. Good luck!

Not vape when you drive?! Are you nuts? That's the only way I stay focused while driving. And now I can keep my windows up.

Huh, well, my German major isn't kicking in... are you sure it wasn't "fleissig" (kind of sounds like fly-sig) that he called you? That means something more like determined though. No big deal. At any rate, I understand... I wait for regular cartos to soak in for a bit too.
