Any tank with either an Ego or 510 fitting will fit your Evod Twist. I am not a Nautilus guy but I am sure they are one of the two lol.

Thanks so much guys for taking the time to tell me your opinions. They are all such good valid points. I've never been a heavy smoker and only about 8 years of it AND started because of being so stressed about family problems. Now I HAVE to quit because of health issues and cutting down or cold turkey didn't do it. I never tried the patch or gum as my gastrologist suggested. When I started vaping I was completely shocked at how I felt and not even wanting a cig. So yeah, it's working! Hubs just will have to understand sooner or later!

I agree with the statements above. Trading one habit for another... maybe. But he will surely like that you no longer smell of cigarette smoke. Vaping is clearly the better option here. Tell him to have a drink and settle down.

We may be trading one habit for another, but in the 5 months since I quit smoking 2 packs a day, I no longer have the cough, no longer have the wheezing sound every time I try to breathe. I can smell things now that I couldn't smell for years, and food tastes better now (gained a little weight because of this LOL). I would say that vaping is the better habit.... cheaper too, for me anyway.

Just recently I finally threw away the last pack of cigarettes I had sitting in my fridge for over two years now. I was kind of amazed not to feel a hint of panic like I expected.

As most of us know it is very hard to quit analogs(very hard) I truly have no desire to smoke since the vaping. I also hope I havent traded one bad habit(healthwise) for another. I will say that I do feel better and i can tell my body is changing for the better. It is hard to explain or have anyone understand what we go through as people who once smoked and working hard to quit and stay analog free.I am just looking for more research to come to light with the effects of vaping. Tell your husband to hang in there you are on your way to reclaiming your health.

My belief on the level of safety of E-cigs vs Smoking would be roughly akin to giving up a heroin addiction and replacing it with chewing gum. I know, dramatic, but still more people died from choking off chewing gum than vaping.

I cannot speak for your situation but I think in a few weeks when you no longer smell like an ash tray and little health issues you may not even have know you had start to clear up he will come around.

The day I started vaping was the last day I smoked a cigarette but my wife phased hers out over a couple weeks. Even going on 2 years for both of us she still uses 24mg and I dropped to 18mg but thats as far as I plan to go.

There is no right or wrong, just do what works for you and best of luck!

When I started vaping I did both for five days and then went all in with vaping only. Everyone is different. Just do what works for you. The wonderful thing about vaping is that it's not an all or nothing kind of thing. If you fall off the wagon, don't be too hard on yourself. Just get back on and you'll be fine. For about 38 years I was a pack a day smoker. I tried everything on the market to stop but couldn't stay off the cigarettes for very long until I switched over. It's now been two and a half years since and I feel so much better! You'll get there, too. Good luck!

No. Direct dripping does not have to involve building your own coils. You can buy a premade atomizer (I would also recommend getting a drip shield so it's not messy), and, with a little learning curve, direct drip away. I would also suggest keeping like flavors together in one atomizer like fruits in one, coffees in another, bakery in yet another one... By going from one flavor to another, the old flavor lingers just a bit so you may not want to vape a mixture of coffee flavored e-liquids with a lemon custard.

mkauthen - Welcome to Vapor Talk!

These guys here won't steer you wrong! I have not been doing this long and know way more than most of the people in the local vape shops! I learned most of it here!

I totally understand on the bad cigarette taste! The last one I smoked was late one night on my wife's birthday. I was in a motel and went out to the car due to the fire alarms going off (false alarm) I really didn't want it, but it was the last one I had. It tasted awful, nearly sickening! I wrote the date/time on the pack and wrapped it up and gave it to my wife for her birthday. It has been a strong motivator!

    Good Luck!

You can do this Michelle. You live in LA, you're prob doing $50+ a week on cigs. Spend the money now and you will see that drop quickly. Welcome and good luck to you both.

eBay has great deals on everything vapor, I do 90% of my shopping for this stuff on there. Just check the seller rating and make sure he has above 99% positive feedback.

    Welcome Michelle!

You can get started with a basic eGo kit, like an EVOD starter kit (two batteries, two clearomizers, and charger). I recommend anyone starting out to have two batteries, so you can have one charging while you use the other... and a couple tanks so you can have extra flavors. You can pick up the basic eGo-T 1100mAh twin kits for $20-25 from many sites (sorry no links for you at the moment), but I'm sure you'll have several links dropped in this thread for you

I'm glad to hear your husband is doing so well... it takes time for some, and some can make the switch right away... either way it's all good because reduction or elimination is still fewer analogs in your system!
