  1. I bought the Totally Wicked Type A version standard resistance when they first came out. I didn't like it at all. I've heard the type B holds more juice and IMO LR (Low Resistance) would be better. If I ever try them again, I'm going to get a type B low resistance. I've heard that the snap on caps that go on the tanks have been improved so they make better seal to the atomizer feeding tube. In general, I'm sure that some improvements have been made since they first came out. I also read comments that some had wicking problems and some videos were made on how to adjust the wick.
  2. Yes, it's a very good juice. I use to vape it a lot, bottle after bottle. Till I got tired of it. LOL A friend and I use to vape it all day long for a long time. You'll probably love it. A lotta people do. Enjoy!
  3. Welcome Kelly! And congratulations on making the switch!
  4. Wonderful review! I'm going to try this thing out myself. Wasn't impressed with the standard resistance eGo T type A that I got a while back. Would love a tank style unit that works. Thanks for the detailed info! I always purchase TastyVapor 80/20 Kretek at 24mg. I got mine at 90/10 24mg this time to see if my LR cartomizers last a little longer between cleanings. (Thinner) A working tank unit would be great!
  5. Great review! I was going to order one of these two days ago, but I'd read that these batteries won't fire correctly with some atomizers/cartomizers. I'm guessing that some low resistance coils trigger the batteries protection circuit. I only use 2.0 Ohm and 1.5 Ohm dual coils. BUT I've read some reviews that these work with them and other reviews say they have problems working with lower resistance coils. Please let us all know if you run into any atomizers or cartomizers that your battery won't work with. I'd really like to purchase one of these. They look very nice!
  6. I've been using 2.0 Ohm (single coil) from vaporkings, then I bought some dual coils from avidvapor. I like the dual coils much better. I've seen a lotta good feedback on the Boge so I ordered some of those today. I thought that the 2.0 Ohm I've been getting would be similar to the Boge, but not sure. Figured I'd buy some and see if they are better.
  7. Welcome Fray! Vapor Talk is a great place for Ecig news and info! Lots of nice people here!
  8. Welcome Vapor303! Great people and tons of helpful information on this site.
  9. I saw P. Busardo's video and the video on the gotvapes site. They look interesting! Maybe someone on here has tried them, so some feedback can be given. I'd like to know if they work also.
  10. Glad you love the eGo! I love mine too. Hey, if ya wanna try some other good dual coils that are standard length, avidvaper.com has some great ones. I got me several packs lately. I think, IMO, they are even better than the ones at vaporkings. Here's the link. http://www.avidvaper.com/products/X2-LR-1.5ohm-Dual-Coil-510-Cartomizers.html They also have some nice XXL duals that come with a soft rubber whistle tip. I haven't tried them yet but they look nice. Longer and larger in diameter too. (But I don't know if these work well or not) PLUS the eGo cones probably won't fit over them. I'll probably buy (1) with a small order next month. You can get 5 packs or singles.
  11. Ya, I saw that video too. Seems like every product has good and bad batches/stock. Or in some cases, its just junk to begin with. Wish some company could make a product that works perfectly all the time with no wicking problems or leaks. I never have any leaking troubles anymore. I use LR or dual coil cartomizers. Easy to judge the fluid level. But I'd like to find a tank type device. The eGo tank (regular resistance) I bought sucked. These CE3's sounded great at first then a few not so good reviews popped up. Those huge add-on tanks that slide over a cartomizer don't appeal to me at all. WAY too big!
  12. I ordered some of the CE2's from the first early batches. I got a 5 Pack and 4 of the 5 had misshapen smashed threads. (Positive center shorted out to the negative outer threads) I read that many people were getting misshapen threads and I also read that some people made a huge group order and had to send all of them back to the distributor, then on to royalsmokers. The one I used had to be turned upside down once in a while to get juice to the coil. Lousy wicking problems. I haven't tried any of these since. Maybe they are better now that the bugs have been worked out. I don't know. Most of the reviews I've seen are bad, due to wicking problems. Personally, I've been wanting to try the CE3's. I've seen good reviews for them and they wick at the bottom using a single stand of wick material. And the coil is at the bottom. Has anyone tried the CE3's/Smokymizers? IGETCHA69 on youtube gives the CE3's a very good review. I've also seen several other good reviews on them. Any thoughts on the CE3's from the VT Forum would be great! They seem to get better reviews than the CE2's.
  13. Same here! I think the regular length dual coils work better too. Seem to get juice to the coil area better. I guess so anyway.
  14. It would leave a oily residue on the cartomizer. Then you'd have to make sure it was completely cleaned off. Not good to have inside a tank Im guessing. WD40 smells too.
  15. You're welcome! It works great for me! Hope you have good luck with it too! I vape Kretek (thick) juice and it gets the gunk out!
  16. I keep mine topped off during use also. You never want to vape a dry cartomizer, or a dry atomizer. But tossing them away after only 4 or 5 days? I get a lot of good use out of mine. They fire just like new if they are rinsed out with hot water and the air passage is cleaned. I let them air dry over night or until I want to re-use them again. I only use the same type/flavor of juice in each one, so no change in flavor. Easy to do and well worth the effort. A 5 Pack lasts me a while before I need to reorder more.
  17. As stated above, the batteries need to be dead before each re-charge. I "ALWAYS" wait till my eGo batteries blink indicating that they need a recharge. My buddy recharges his batteries any old time as he pleases and my batteries last WAY longer than his. He buys batteries much faster than I do. His go bad and need replaced. Costly mistake! As for cleaning a cartomizer, I use hot water to rinse them out and I also run a piece of dental bridge floss through mine. You can buy it at any Walgreen's pharmacy. It's like a flexible pipe cleaner but smaller in diameter so it fits through the air passage way. It gently pulls all the build up off the coils. I use dual coil and single coil cartomizers. It makes my cartomizers last a lot longer. Hope this helps!
  18. I've never really looked at that mod before tonight. Not bad looking. At least it doesn't look like a Volkswagen tailpipe with garden hose fittings screwed on each end. LOL 8 different body color/switch combinations to choose from.
  19. I always bought the 2.0 Ohm LR 510's or the dual coil 510's at vaporkings.com until recently. The X2 LR 1.5 Ohm dual coil 510's in the standard length, (5pack for $11.99) at avidvaper.com are even better and seem to last longer. The new eGo dual coils at madvapes.com are nice too, if you want a large cartomizer. Takes a lotta juice to fill them though. Yep, the ego batteries work with 510 cartomizers. A drip tip comes in handy, to replace the standard rubber caps on 510 cartomizers. The eGo Mega's come with a large rubber tip. LR (Low Resistance) is the way to go with cartomizers. Remember to fill the 510's using the condom fill method the first time, then drip in the top as needed afterward. Works best. Hope this helps!
