  1. I use both dual coil and 2.0 Ohm LR cartomizers. I kinda switch off from one to the other. Both work well for me. I get mine from vaporkings or avidvapor. I haven't used a standard resistance in a very long time. Might have to buy some 3.0 Ohm's when I get my Lavatube Mod though.
  2. So did I, about an hour ago. LOL I'm waiting also. Hope we both have good luck! I found a supplier that had a black one with a blue LCD back-light display in the photo. I asked in the email if it positively came with a blue back-light. Want to make sure, if I'm going to all the trouble of ordering one.
  3. Looks like the over-seas customers/buyers are getting the Lavatube's already and all are happy with the quality. I'm waiting for Volcano I guess. I bet they will be sold out fast!
  4. Thats the best looking one I've seen! Very nice!
  5. Thats cool! We'll have an easier chance of getting one. I don't think they will be out on November 15th anyway. I'm probably gonna have to wait for a black Lavatube with blue LCD back-light display anyway. I don't like the red display color. The green display looks ok though. Most of the Lavatube photos show a red display, but I've seen some in blue and green also. RED YUCK! IMO
  6. Volcano will be selling the kits for $99.99 and the unit by itself for $69.99 The kit includes: The "aluminum body" Lavatube, 1 AW flat top high drain 18650 battery, 1 Trustfire charger, 1 Lavatube 3.0 Ohm 510 atomizer, 1 510 Drip tip and 1 leather case. The kits will be available first, November 15th it says, (so far), before they will be selling the unit by itself. I might go ahead and buy a complete kit, if they are available. Also - Volcano claims to be the builder/designer of the Lavatube and they are allowing other companies over-seas to distribute it, while they will be the only company in the United States to carry it.
  7. I might try to order one. If it gets good reviews on youtube. Scott has only had his a short time. He said he'd have a complete review soon. I hope it's a good quality unit. But for the price I wonder how well the circuitry and programming works. I love the looks. I want to purchase a black one with blue back-lighting.
  8. I've only ordered one thing from China/over seas and it was my very first two eGo kit. I did it by accident before I realized it was not a US company. It worked out ok though. It was a good kit and shipping wasn't terrible. It was held up in customs for a while so I was sweating a few days. I'm still using the charger and one of the original batteries, over a year later now. Where did you see the $32.00 price? I looked at a few links. Some say minimum order 5 pieces, some say 1 piece. Some show blue and red LCD backlight in the photos, with no exact description of what one you'll be getting. I'm wondering how bad shipping would be. Plus trouble with customs, etc.
  9. It looks like it'll be available in several different styles. Even looks like it might come with blue, green or red LCD back lighting choices. Some styles look pretty good, some look more like a "toy" model rocket controller. LOL Or even worse, a vibrator-ish looking thing. LOL
  10. This reviewer/owner says the Lavatube is made out of PVC plastic, display screen is hard to read and in another video he says the voltage readout is off from what his readings measure. ? Myself, if its way under $100.00 and available here in the US from Volcano AND if igetcha69 on youtube gives it a good review, I'll probably purchase one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zn4QTqcV4r4&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL
  11. Shrek and Renée Zellweger had a love child?
  12. I'm going to try and get one! And yes, they do tend to sometimes need better dental plans in the UK. I watch a lotta British television (I love it) and luckily its an old(er) problem for them and not so much today. Scott is a great reviewer! I always watch his posts, among others on youtube.
  13. I did some looking around and found these other versions of the same basic model.
  14. The advertised price is nice. I have seen a couple of different versions of this also. All over seas vendors though. A youtube member says that Volcano might be selling these soon. I just hope someone here in the US does.
  15. I'm really wanting to get one of these!
  16. Welcome! Yes, the eGo would be your best choice. I'd also purchase some 2.0 Ohm cartomizers or some dual coil cartomizers to use with your eGo kit. avidvaper here in the US has some great standard length dual coil cartomizers. http://www.avidvaper.com/x2-dual-coil-510-cartomizers/ I use them with my eGo and NOEGO and they work great. IMO Hope this helps!
  17. Yes it is interesting! I saw this video on youtube and I would like to purchase one of these but not from an over-seas vendor. If these were available in the US I'd probably buy one. Making your own coil/atomizer would save money. The tank part of it would have to work well though. I wasn't impressed with the eGo-T tanks at all. But maybe this works better. The reviews are pretty good for these!
  18. I popped over to the prosmoke website. The info they have in the FAQ says they are not compatible with other Ecig brand components. The atomizers are not a standard 510 but maybe they are some other standard type, I don't know. I only use 510/eGo but maybe someone else will know if they are compatible with another standard brand. FAQ's Are ProSmoke product compatible with other brands? Each component of the ProSmoke system has been engineered and designed to work together for the absolute top performance. Unlike other companies which just slap a logo on someone else product and design, we have thousands of hours of research and development for each single component. This makes sure that you get consistent performance that is better than the competition! Since we keep our prices so low, you never need to worry about compatibility. You will be unable to use any other brands with the ProSmoke as well as unable to use ProSmoke parts on other products such as Blu Cigs, Greensmoke, V2 Cigs, South Beach Smokes, NJoy, Safecig, SmokeTip, Apollo, Vapor King, eSmoke, Volcano Ecig's, Vapor4Life, Cirrus, EonSmoke, Smoke Frii, No. 7, AAmericSmoke, Zero Cig, Eco Cigs, Cloud 9, Smoke Stick, Luci, and more.
  19. Gamera The eGo batteries look a lot bigger but once you get them in your hand, they feel perfect. They put out lots of power and you can also use them with LR (low resistance) cartomizers so they pump out lots of vapor and great throat hit and taste. It's all I use, except I also have a larger NOEGO with an 18650 battery. LR works best for me. It's sorta like a high voltage vape. You will enjoy using 510 batteries with SR (standard resistance) cartomizers but you'll love eGo batteries with LR cartomizers. IMO
  20. They are standard resistance cartomizers. They will work with 510 batteries. Atomizers use a snap in plastic cartridge and filler material with juice. Cartomizers are a cartridge AND atomizer built together in one package. Most people use cartomizers now. Unless you plan to direct drip, then you would want an atomizer.
  21. The 510 batteries only put out 150mAh or 280mAh of current. (Power) The cartomizers you are asking about are usable on the eGo batteries at 650 900 or 1000mAh. Most sites warn that if you use any LR (low resistance) cartomizers on any battery lower that an eGo 650mAh, the battery will die quickly. I've used 2.0 Ohm cartomizers on my 510 batteries without them completely dying "BUT" the 510 batteries do need re-charged more often than usual. If you want to use LR cartomizers you'll need to purchase eGo batteries with current output of at least 650mAh to have a usable combination. The cartomizers you posted the link for details that they work on 650, 900 and 1000mAh batteries. (eGo)
  22. Has anyone here on the forums tried these Sapphire's from gotvapes? I got a 2-pack of the 2.2-2.4 Ohm 510's in the mail Saturday. Youtube has mixed reviews on them. I don't have any of my favorite Tasty Vapor Kretek right now so I mixed up some so-so clove juices I had laying around and filled one of the tanks. It produces some good vapor. Pretty good taste (as far as strenght) since my clove mix is nasty tasting in regular cartomizers anyway. LOL NO leaks at all. That was surprising to me! I've been wondering if anyone on here has purchased any? I'm ordering some Tasty Vapor Kretek soon, so I can see how these work with a juice I know and love. With my mix of junk juices they vape pretty well though.
  23. My favorite is Kretek (Clove) from Tasty Vapor. It's just about all I vape. I use to vape Boba's Bounty by AveJuice to switch things up a little bit, but I only vape Kretek now. It's a Djarum Black craving sorta thing I guess. LOL
