  1. If you like mothers milk, try Unicorn Milk by Cuttwood. I prefer Cuttwoods take on the flavor . Welcome to VT, vape on!
  2. Does it fire, or is it not firing and blinking? How many ohms is your coil?
  3. I just haven't noticed much difference in hit quality based on the mod. The pins make a noticable difference though. On other words, I wouldn't decide against a mod I liked the looks of because someone says copper is more conductive. I would, however, pick a mod over another based on contacts.
  4. I mean my understanding of electricity would tell me the ground (mod) is almost irrelevant. The actual contacts are what conduct the electricity. The ground can be ss, copper, dirt, anything really. Some people claim different mods have different voltage drops but most tests I see are inaccurate and hit difference is not even noticeable. The contacts is the main thing, that is the only part of the mod conducting electricity, if the actual mod was conductive at all, you'd get shocked.
  5. In a bind I recommend getting some 50/50 juice at twice your normal preferred nicotine and then adding vg. I usually double it with vg and since it has that pg kick to it the flavor still cuts through. Just shake it up good. I had 15ml bottles come out to $2 each last time. They vaped great.
  6. My Poldiac has rhodium plated silver contacts and it is my hardest hitting mod by far. It is authentic if that makes a difference.
  7. The bigger the surface area, less resistance. Just like 30g wire being thin is a lot more resistance per wrap than 20g which is thicker. As far as contacts, I'd say the material is the biggest factor, and bigger may not do much of anything. Try it out, it can't hurt to try and compare.
  8. The Magma is a major win on flavor, although the TOBH is second in my opinion, I use my TOBH more but that's because of airflow.
  9. Steeping isn't necessary, but it only makes juice better. Fruit flavors tend to need much longer steeping compared to dessert or tobacco flavors. I steep about a month before tasting, that will give you the "real" outcome of the mix.
  10. Btw I get my nic from nicvape they have great customer service, flavor from the flavor apprentice or from the guys at the shop. I get vg and pg in bulk, about $25 a gallon. Or $5 a gallon on bigger bulk buys with my friend.
  11. Yeah man we vape pure Vg no flavor no nic all the time. You can't even feel the inhale hahaha its just denseeeee vapor.
  12. Diy is a wonderful thing. I prefer mostly Vg, but since pg is what carries the flavor, I use pg based nic, and the rest Vg since flavoring is usually pg based as well. So its just about a 90vg 10pg mix.
  13. Yeah they pretty much covered it. Vg produces more vapor, pg is for throat hit. Nicotine also increases throat hit. As for $9 juice that isn't too bad. Cuttwood is $12 a bottle, but well worth it to me as far as flavor goes.
  14. Welcome! you will really like it here!
  15. Then it would be dual 12 wraps with 32g. You will need some pretty thin wire to hit 2.0ohms on a dual coil build, or wrap two sixes in series....although that seems a bit drastic.
  16. I was just pointing out the math, it's totally fine to draw 18.5 amps with a 20+ amp battery, but to say a 60 amp battery does anything is ridiculous. Unless you are somehow pulling 60 amps (0.061 ohms.) I would hate to see anyone pay $20 for a battery that literally does nothing to enhance your vape.
  17. The pulse is measured literally in less than a nano second. All I know is I have never gotten a hot battery or vented a battery and I use vtc4s.
  18. On my builds below 0.1 I use my 60 amps just for any protection it MIGHT add.
  19. Well, thy were trying to sell them for $20 a piece, and that was the response I got when I asked why haha.
  20. I also recommend a Spinner for that style of battery. The highest mah you can find for longer battery life.
  21. I had someone several months ago try to sell me some 60 amp batteries, well, his reasoning was "it hits harder and you can build super low ohms." The reason this is a ridiculous statement is, it is a 60 amp PULSE, meaning you can only pass 60 amps through it for a short amount of time, it is actually a 30 amp continuous discharge. As for the battery "hitting harder," that is ridiculous. If you're running a 0.2ohm coil that means you are pulling 18.5 amps from the battery, no matter what kind of battery it is as long as we are talking about your typical 3.7v battery.Unless you change voltage or resistance, you will always be pulling whatever your resistance allows. So, my conclusion is, the most logical batteries to buy are 30 - 35amp batteries. You would have to go as low as 0.1ohms (pulling 37amps) to even need a 60amp pulse to make it SAFER. If I am completely wrong, someone please explain the math behind this guys statement. Please note that I do own some 60amp batteries, as well as some 30s and 35s. Never noticed any kind of hit difference....because 18.5 amps is 18.5 amps. at 0.2ohms you are pulling 18.5 from the battery, no matter what.
