  1. I have not got into sub ohm yet. I will one day funds permitting. I have the knowledge due to many years of hobby electronics and my occasional side electrical work. Been doing Ohm's Law and rechargeable batteries for years, but I am currently using the itaste VV, MPV, and spinners for vapeing.

This subject really hit me hard today. I went to buy some juice at one of my local B & M. They carry mechanical mods and the large electronic controlled batteries. I was inquiring about going from a 60/40 blend to a 50/50 because of flooding on my Nautilus. She said no, all you need to do is crank up your wattage and voltage up. I told her I usually set my wattage around 6.5/7 watts. She then asked where are your volts set at. I said I really don't know off the top of my head and I don't have a calculator. She looked at me like I was totally stupid. She then said I should be running my tank at 11 watts and 5 volts. I just smiled and said ok.

I don't expect everyone to know everything, but at least a basic understanding of how ohms law works, especially if your giving advice on settings and sell mechanical mods.

    Sorry for the rant.

  2. I am definately an over washer! It has worked flawlessly today so far. I have had vapor tounge all day so I can't taste it anyway. I was hoping to make this my daily driving tank (im a salesman and drive 1400 - 1700 miles a week) and eventually get an RDA to use in hotels and at home in the evening. I just have not pulled the trigger on a mod and coil building supplies.

I pulled the pin last night and it was a little gunked up but not bad.

Thanks for all of your help!

  3. Well it is working ok today so far. I've been switching between both coils I have all week. When it floods (completely) I clean the coil in vodka and let it dry over night and use the other coil. I will pick up a 5 pack Friday and see how it goes.

  4. Yes. I pulled it apart in the hotel tonight and the coil was completely full of liquid and dripping through the hole in the center pin.

I am using a 60PG/40VG. Could it be too thin? I was going to order a new SS tank and a box of coils next week, but I'm scared to invest more in it.

  5. I've been running this tank for a for about a week. I really love the draw and the vapor production. I keep getting a slight gurgling and quite a bit of liquid in my draws. I have disassembled it mutiple times, cleaned, replaced the atomizer/coil. It works great for a about an hour, but it doesn't last. I am running it on the largest airflow opening.

I have checked all the orings and they seem fine. The only place I can see where one might be missing is possibly above the atomizer. In the tube coming down from the drip tip. Is there supposed to be one there?

I also take very long draws. My MVP flashes and quits on each one.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  6. I guess I am a little weird. I keep an iclear16 filled with each of my favorite flavors and use my innokin VV. The flavors are Drunk Mama, Hawaiian Energy, Sweet Harmony, Erica's Honey, and Frozen Fruit. I don't know if these are common flavors, I get them at the local B&M. I load my Nautilus on my MPV up with a mL of each!

The fruity, sweet flavors has been working best to keep me from smoking. I hope when my taste comes back I can get into new flavor profiles.

  7. Hello all!

I have been lurking around for a few weeks and this is a really great forum. I have really learned a lot.

    I am still an analog smoker but I have gone from 2 - 2+ packs a day to 2 - 3 a day in 3+ weeks.

I have learned so much reading everything I can find on here and other places. One of the main things is that this is going to turn into a great hobby. I tend to go overboard. I already have 3 variable voltage batteries, 4 different glass tanks, a bunch of iclear16's, and many empty 5ml bottles of juice. So many choices in both equipment and flavors!

Keep up all of the good work!
