  1. Nice. I forget it doesn't show topic description on the mobile vaportalk.
  2. Yeah from what I have seen it is a pretty common style unit. One reason I would say go with ElectronicStix is that he offers some pretty swell color options including a metallic burnt Orange looking color and a metallic green as well. If mine craps out sometime in the future it will be replaced by that fantastic Orange colored one. Hell for the price I may get one for every usb adapter I have access to. I can just imagine them everywhere. One for Verizon store when I have phone issues, maybe one or two hidden in best buy for those black Friday lines. Mmm. Vapor. Maybe one at the license office for those wicked plate renewal lines. One can only dream. Hmm. Maybe one there as well.
  3. Am I missing something? What juice is it? What strength?
  4. My order was one 5v passthrough(referenced as pt from here on out), a five package of soft tip 510 cartomizers and the Car to Usb 5v 2amp adapter. I placed my order very early on a Tuesday and revieved it on the Thursday immediately following. I ordered the pt in silver or stainless steel color. It is a simple 15 dollar pt that was converted from a battery. It has an Orange led that works great and a black button. I haven't had a chance to test it but with the car adapter it hits much harder than my tornado with an lr atty. I mean quite a bit harder. The place the cord runs in the bottom isn't protected by any sort or rubber but I have been using it everyday for several weeks and the cord is as nice and tight as the day I got it. For the price it really can't be beat. On my laptop it hits about as hard with the cartos as my tornado with an lr atty. I use this thing everywhere. It has about a three foot or so cord with is plenty of room everywhere I use it. The button has a nice click feel to it. Not too sure of the technical name for click feel haha. Overall it is a great introduction for those wanting to try higher voltage without a higher price tag. I can easily recommend this unit to anyone and I have to several of my friends. Next up are the 510 soft tip cartos. The end of these has a rubber plug that makes refills a breeze. I for one remove the tip and use my drip tip on the end so I can keep the cartos wet with the passthrough. They are wrapped in black plastic(?) Or something like that which I peeled off to reveal the silver metal finish underneath. I have been using the same carto for several weeks with great vapor and throat hit performance. They also work great on my tornado with the drip tip attached as they are kind short for that device. I mentioned I purchased the 5v 2amp usb car adapter to use with my passthrough. I assumed for ten bones it was going to be not all to great quality. I was wrong. It feels very solid and well made. This thing feels like it is going to last a few years. I have received worse adapters that were three times as much for phones and such. I feel pretty lame that rhymes. Oh well. Last up is the service. Two day shipping is awesome. Another thing I did that I like to do with a new supplier is send a thank you e mail. Jason responded in like an hour. Just fantastic service. I would have no reservations about doing business with Jason at ElectronicStix.com and I guess others feel the same because they have a great reputation on all forums. So yeah I have a 5v setup with cartos and a car adapter for less than forty bucks. I will be using ElectronicStix for many more purchases. I could not be happier. P.s. typed on a phone, don't hate.
  5. I use totally wicked lr510s rated at 1.5 ohms. I have been using the same one for three weeks dripping. No signs of slowing down. They are joyetech I am pretty sure. Forgot to add I experience no burning taste unless they start to run dry.
  6. I know you have cartos(which I use at 5v), but one important thing about a brand new atty is to blow the primer fluid out of it before use. It will save you from making some weird faces in public when your first vape tastes like burning lemon urine. And congrats on making the switch. Pass it on to a friend. We are taking over.
  7. I would start with the ego/tornado. Few starter kits offer the ease of use with such great battery life. I love mine. Best joye model to date.
  8. I know the feeling, and I have been drops away from being empty. But...I am prolly one of the few people who was more of a chewer than a smoker when I started vaping. I did smoke daily but no more than five a day by the time I started vaping. We wish you the best of luck. I try to always keep about sixty mls on hand to be safe.
  9. A lesson we can all benefit from. Those little flat rate usps boxes are fantastic for all e cig products. Sorry to hear you lost attys to "the man" and his mail service.
  10. Yeah the Smoke 51 brand is really storming the market. I have seen more of their products in the strangest places. They are actually decent batteries and carts but the attys are pure garbage. They guy I bought mine from said the atty was good for more than six months haha. It's a shame one of the biggest names in e cigs is also detrimental to the whole cause. My 51 Trio carts were supposed to be two packs as well. Twenty drags later it was dry...the carts only held six drops.
  11. Thanks for the heads up. You are so soooo right about only buying from a well known, well researched supplier. Sometimes just doing your homework can save you a lot of hassle. What was that fake ego selling for? I'd pay $10 for an extra starter kit haha.
  12. One thing I forgot to mention is that sometimes you will get a juice that's too harsh especially on low resistance attys or high voltage. With a manual battery it is so so sooo much easier to "pulse" the atomizers by clicking the switch on and off several times to keep the vape temperature down. It might be the difference between having a juice you can enjoy and having one that's rendered useless due to its harshness.
  13. Umm I am gonna throw this out there, it sounds really sweet. I have been on the hunt for the perfect high voltage/3.7 device for awhile now. Knowing TW I am sure this is going to be at least decent quality and construction and probably not too cheap. I guess I can make it 3 more weeks using my tonado with LR atty's. Thanks for the vid post.
  14. You may try a diet coke bath as well. That really refreshed an atty that had been wrecked by an oil based flavor.
  15. I have an ego/tornado and it is THE 3.7 kit to have. I have only heard good things about them. Wish the batts were a hair cheaper but oh well. I recommend trying low resistance atomizers is you have not already. They put out a good 50% more vapor than standards. But yes, we all live our ego. Sorry to hear you don't like the rather juice as it was on my list to try. I believe it is all 100% vg which makes it pretty thick.
