  1. The "Buttery Nipple" is the clear standout of this batch! Super smooth; I will definitely be getting more! Piña colada has a great, but at times overwhelming taste. Hazelnut coffee is another gem. It's a little harsh on its own, but its soooooo good mixed with any mild tobacco flavor. Key lime pie is nice, but a little sweet for my taste. This will probably end up being a "mixer" for me. "American Standard" and "Twixt" did not impress me at all. Blech. Just my $.02
  2. I am a respiratory therapist (and ex-smoker, ironically), and I can all but guarantee that no physician will give you a glowing endorsement for inhaling ANYTHING foreign into your lungs. That being said, given the choice of a patient using vapor in place of tobacco really is a no-brainier. I just don't think any doc can, in good conscience, advise vaping over not using either. As for the BP, nicotine is a stimulant, and certainly has potential to make you hypertensive, just as caffeine, sugar, or sodium does. If this was your first follow-up post smoking, I wouldn't be too concerned. If your BP remains elevated over time, you'd be wise to closely monitor your nic / caffeine intake and adjust one or both accordingly. Of course, there's a zillion other factors that can cause hypertension; but these two are the most likely to be having the most effect.
  3. PS- all three are variable (3.2v-4.8v) voltage. This pic shows the diameter with the spinner on the left for reference.
  4. I've got two ego 650mah vv batteries (pictured far right), and one ego-c twist 900mah (middle). I'd be happy to trade all three for the two spinners, along w postage or whatever to make sure you're getting an equal value. The 650's have an Asian-style dragon design that I could live without lol but that was my only choice at the time. Both 650's were purchased in mid-march, and the 900 was just purchased in May. The 1300mah is pictured on the far left for size reference.
  5. I personally love the batteries you're looking to exchange. I the vendor doesn't help you out, I'd be happy to offer you a trade!
  6. Just an update... I noticed a huge difference once I switched to the lower resistance coils! I also absolutely love the spinner batteries, although I'm using the same voltage, so I understand that's not going to make a difference in vapor output. I also seem to have settled on 80/20 VG/PG as my go to mix (although I had to go 70/30 from the Dudes). I'm on cruise control now... My "mod itch" has been scratched (more $ for juice!). Thanks again for the advice!
  7. Puff, Puff, Sniff... Puff, Puff, Sniff...
  8. I often get this at higher voltages. I can't say it bothers me, though; regular cigs would always dry out my sinuses.
  9. "Buttery Nipple". Liking it so far...
  10. Unfortunately, I won't be much help in the realm of equating tobacco to juice content. My only reference is my own experience. That being said, the gear you decide to purchase is irrelevant to the strength of your juice. You can vape 0mg today, and 20mg tomorrow with the same ecig (or change them between tokes, for that matter). I'd suggest choosing a reliable setup first, and sampling juices in flavors that interest you, in varying strengths. Since you're not a heavy smoker, I'd bet 10 - 14mg would be a good starting point, but I've learned it all really boils down to personal preference and trial-and-error. Whatever you choose to try is going to be a welcomed change from the tobacco as far as your lungs are concerned!
  11. Fresh in from the Dudes. First time for all of these... Let the taste-testing begin! :-))
  12. Welcome! I'm only a few months into vaping, but for me, it was an instant quit method, and I've not even thought about a cigarette since (I was good for at least a pack per day). Regarding nicotine, it is added to whatever juice you select in varying strengths. For me, 18mg was a good start coming from a pack of "M" lights a day (I could've lived with a little stronger at first, tbh), and I've since stepped down to 12mg. Pretty much any juice vendor can accommodate 0 to 24mg of nic by volume. Anything higher than 24mg, to my knowledge, can be risky and seems to be for use "at your own risk". Cheers & good luck!
  13. I second that. I don't have a lot of go-to flavors, but I always fill up two tanks with different juice and alternate throughout the day. You'll thank yourself for doing so!
  14. Watch out for Alibaba.com! They are NOT a supplier, but rather a wholesaler directory service. They gobble up all kinds of domains and misrepresent themselves as a "specialized" distributor of products. A former co-worker got duped buying bulk soccer jerseys (all were counterfeit, mis-sized, and literally falling apart). Servers are off-shore, and I'd be VERY surprised if you found any of the "suppliers" that are not fronts for SE Asian sweat shops. There's definitely a reason those who are linked do not set up their own sites. </my2cents>
  15. Do you mean a new flavor wick on top of the one that the wire is coiled around?
  16. So I've got two of these tanks, which are the only ones I've ever used. I'm totally happy with them, and am very interested in rebuilding the coils myself (planning on grabbing some wire & wick from sweet-vapes soon). As I look at my growing collection of used heads, though - I'm wondering what I can be doing, if anything, to extend the "life" of the coils. I've recently changed from 2.2 to 1.8ohm, and I consistently vape at 4.0 - 4.2v. I recall the lady at my local shop telling me a new coil should last two weeks or more, but I start to notice the nasty "burnt" taste after a week at most. I'm very diligent about cleaning the actual tank and the base, but what about the head? Is there anything I can do to clean or condition it before retiring it to the "rebuild queue"? I've seen mention of "trimming the wick", but I'm not sure if this is relative to a new wick, or something that can extend the life of an existing one. I've taken a couple of them apart, so I'm familiar with the construction, but not sure if any of the components can be cleaned, maintained, etc. Any thoughts?
  17. Blu's accessibility is the only reason I discovered vaping as a viable option to stop smoking. I owe them that.
  18. Wordup ecigs (Don't let the name fool you, they're actually a great vendor to work with) has a flavor called "New Port RI". I never was a menthol guy, so I can't give you first hand review, but her other juices I've tried are really good and Laurin will usually be happy to help you "customize" any flavor. I've been considering ordering some in an effort to convert a good friend that's been using newports for about 25 years.
  19. Nice! I just keep telling myself that if someone had offered me an "overnight quit smoking" product (which in my case, this was - quite literally), I'd surely have paid $500 or more! #noregrets
  20. Wow. I just thought this morning as I was opening my two new spinners (no factory charge - grrrrr) about how much gear I've accumulated in just a few months of vaping! This thread makes me feel better - good to know I'm not alone lol! * Two Vision Spinner 1300mah VV (eagerly charging for first use!) * Two eGo-C Twist 1000mah VV * Two eGo Twist T 650mah * Two 7s Hybrid 650mah * Two Blu starter kits * Two Kanger Protanks * Four 7s Cartos * About 15 assorted juices Wait, do replacement coils count? LMAO - coming soon to an eBay listing near you...
  21. Congrats & Welcome. Where the hell was this stuff 20 years ago?! lol
