  1. I was hoping to sell the lot as a whole to just get rid of it all at once. Well two lots anyhow, tanks and mods, and throw in my juice collection somewhere. Almost the full line of multiples of Kangers up to the last one I didn't try and a Nautilus. Its late now, but tomorrow I'll try and shoot a pm list. Any used items I sell will be a great deal no doubt.
  2. I have an old collection of about seven tanks which I no longer even own coils for anymore. My Kayfun came first and then the mechs and followed by enough rda's to top each mech. I now have a small pile of old mechs and an rda I have no use for anymore also as I invested in better mechs and rda's since I knew it just wasn't a fad. I do feel rda's will soon be made with auto feed drip systems and coil/wick cartridges to move into more of the mainstream market. Heck I won't even buy any juice that isn't high VG except for my kayfun which still prefers 50/50 for proper feeding. I still only use my kayfun outside the house, but new advances in rda's will change that soon. Check out Smaxx juice to see what I mean about dripping moving forward. ALL HAIL THE KANTHAL!!!
  3. Mine came in the box with the white guy on it, it also had the normal removable top and not the magnetic folding style top. It's very well made and rather clear of machining discoloration on the inside that my Manhattan clone has. This one is from Vape101 and appears to be a clone of the FUHatten. It also came with just two adjustable top cap pins, while my Manhattan clone came with three. The Manhattan clone is from 88evape and appears to be the $30 version that fastech sells. Both are wonderful mods,I think I lean more to liking them over my copper Cartel limited Edition clone. The Manhattans magnetic firing buttons are amazingly great smooth design.
  4. Just received my copper Cartel mod clone and copper Plume Veil in the mail today. Mod Good: Solid, great threads it's really perfect except for one issue and it's just a preference really. Mod bad: spring in the firing button seems too soft for me. It should have been designed for magnets imo. At least the button is smooth, I'll find a stronger spring until I can figure out how to replace the spring with magnets. Atty good: easy to build on and spacious, excellent flavor and looks great. Atty bad: tight orings but they should loosen up with use. It's as good as my Magma and better than the Tobh. Now I'm just waiting on my FUHatten to come in the mail so I can compare it to my Manhattan clone. They are such a great mod I needed two
  5. My favorite KFL build is a dual coil side be side single strand of 30 gauge wrapped 7 times. Positioned with the air hole blowing between the coils I have to rebuild it today so I'll try and get a pic if my phone will do the job.coils.
  6. I love my Manhattan clone so much it made me order the LE Cartel above, but just today I found an FUhatten in stock and couldn't resist ordering also. I don't like owning exact duplicate items as I do like to tell everything apart from each other. So the markings will keep the FU easy to tell from the Manhattan. So with these three heavy copper beasts in my mod lineup I think I'll be set for a long while. My poor quality SS Nemisis and copper Stingray to do mobile on the go work with my kayfun.
  7. I'd suggest a kayfun clone as imo they don't do as well sub ohm like an rba does. Plus they should work best with current juices you own as most people prefer high VG in a rda. It will most likely become you favorite atty and can go anywhere with you being a sealed tank, most rda's can usually only be home bound do to the needs of dripping. Kayfuns are easy to find, look for the kayfun lite plus. Personally I'd look for a matte Russian 91% clone as I like the looks better. Most run from $25-$40 and you will need organic cotton or rayon which is synthetic cotton wich I highly suggest as wicks. Seattle Vapor Company has both of those cheap and ready to use. I'd suggest a 25'-50' of 28gauge and 32 gauge kanthal. Lightning Vapes is my goto place for kanthal. They have tons of good rebuilding supplies there also.
  8. I just ordered a LE copper Cartel mod clone and copper Plume Veil clone.
  9. ITC Vapes does excellent juices at low prices. Very well done high VG blends and the owner is very responsive to requests. It's hard to find a juice that when used in a dripper stands up well when it's $7.99 for 30ml.
  10. If you have the best equipment money can buy, then your wasting money on low cost juice as nothing will make it taste better. You will start tasting just why it's so low cost. To me a well made quality juice is just as important as the gear. But an SVD is a great place to start in finding what you really like without overspending. Get a good bottom coil tank and a good mid priced juice maker and see where it leads. I'm the type I'm constantly searching for the next best thing. But many people can be happy at a much lower level of spending. It won't happen over night, but if you keep buying reasonably priced products you can will start seeing where you could experiment into some better vape products without as much trial and error. Going too fast can be frustrating and a waste of money and at worse turn you off from vaping.
  11. Yup, that's about how I see it also. I'm not gonna lose any sleep over it since its so cheap to replace. It's just more incentive to put all my unused vaping gear up for sale and go on an old fashioned spending spree.
  12. The shocks and burning does happen on the seam where the tubes meet in the middle. The exact reason eludes me but I'm rather sure something isn't passing current like it should. I actually got robbed when I paid $50 locally for this Nemisis, it's actually my second one as the first one had the bottom switch strip it's thread before I could even use it for the first time. Everything I've bought at this store has been pretty crappy quality wise. I'll stick with buying online as I get much better built items there. I don't feel a decently made Nemisis would suffer from this bunch of problems. Hopefully I can find a copper Cartel clone under $40 or I'll buy another Manhattan to replace the Nemesis.
  13. Thanks for the math work! Even tho I have training in Electronics Engineering I hate math. I replaced the spring in the Nemisis with magnets a long time ago, mine should conduct a bit better. The weird part is the burning and shocks I feel when firing the mod, I'm guessing it's just a really cheap SS they used to make this mod. I think I'm just gonna upgrade this Nemisis and my copper Stingray as it's button is poorly made junk that's as smooth as sandpaper. I haven't tested the Stingray, but I'll look at it today if possible. There are so many nicer mods that work better under $30 that I don't see me keeping it much longer.
  14. Out of the house is a SS Nemisis mech and a Kayfun. At home is copper Manhattan and Tobh atty at .5 ohms dual coils for my adv juice wich is OH Face from Beantown Vapers. I usually vape three juices in a rotation and that is threw two Magma rda's on a copper Stingray and the SS Nemisis.
  15. I've owned my SS Nemisis clone for a few months and many times I swore I felt a surge of electricity on the skin of my Palm and fingers, both tingling and burning. It made me think the mod may suck at delivering the amperage my lower ohm builds need. So I did a test with my Nemisis and my new copper Manhattan with a single freshly charged VTC5 and a Tobh rda at .3ohms. I placed an inline voltage on the mod and did a few tests. Mod and no rda voltage: SS Nemisis- 4.16v Copper Manhattan- 4.16v This tells me I'm getting full battery potential in each mod. Next I added the atty on top of the voltage meter to get a battery sag reading. SS Nemisis- 3.55v Copper Manhattan- 3.75v Even tho .2v don't sound like a lot, but it really is. I never had no luck at figuring amperage differances, but on a .3ohm coil that's a big amperage/wattage loss. I have yet to test my copper Stingray, but I bet it fairs better than my Nemisis. Also I'm rather meticulous about keeping my mechs in top shape and clean so I don't expect bad thread conductivity be due too dirt and oxidation. I'm also NOT implying all SS mechs suffer from this as so many clones are out there and I'm sure some are worse than others.
  16. I have a polished clone of what is supposedly a kayfun, but it's exactly made like the Russian. It's my only rba so I need another for out of the house usage.
  17. I dabbled in rba's with a Genisis atomizer which I hated and it took me a year later before I'd try anything rebuildable again. Now I own a bunch of Kanger tanks and vv/vw mods I need to sell in the classifieds soon. Rda's are more work, but we'll worth it. Plus expect your juice usage to go way up now also. I even rebuilt my coils in my regular tanks and still couldn't come close to the flavor of a good rba. When you do go with mechs make sure you buy the best batteries and charger you can find, you will thank yourself later for that.
  18. I found one on eBay shipped for $30 Any better deals on a matte clone like Earthlings pic of his?
  19. So a Russian clone is available? I am actually suprised it took so long really. Where did you order one from?
  20. I just opened my copper Manhattan clone and it's better than I was hoping for and I had rather high hopes to begin with. It's 24mm rather than 22 due to its thick walls, and threads much bigger that shouldn't strip even if I tried to do it on purpose. Each magnet in the switch is 10x thicker than a Nemisis magnet. Only con I see is no locking ring wich is no big deal since it will never leave my house or see a pocket.
  21. I just ordered a copper Manhattan mod clone and a Tobh Atty in SS. Plus 28, 26 and 24 gauge kanthal. The mod looks amazing in pics online and heavy as hell. It's a 18650 mod but the copper walls are so thick that it's 24mm outside diameter. I asked in a thread here about putting a 28.5mm rda on an 18650 mod and how bad it would look proportion wise on a 22mm 18650 mod. With this mod an oddish 24mm it may look good with a bigger rda on top of it. The Tobh Atty I ordered is 22mm as couldn't find the Plume Veil SS in stock .
  22. How do you transport your juice? If I can match the metals of both it won't look so odd. I chain vape and refill the rda so much I seem to just hold the bottle and the pvd at all times. I don't won't a 26650 mech as I already own eight VTC5's and buying more cells doesn't thrill me. If I can find a big version of the Magma I know I'd buy that.
  23. I may have to give it a shot with a Toby Atty. I like the 22mm and above rda's, I have a 17mm rda that I rather despise. It was my first rda so I have an excuse!
  24. Anyone use this combo? I know it may look odd, but it should be easier to build on and hold more juice. Any performance differences? I use rda's only at home so odd looks don't bother me. Mainly I'm looking at the Tohb Atty or Plume Veil since I have the Magma twins. Anything else I should look at new on the market?
  25. All good tips, I will do them soon. I like the patina look on yours mvince, mine wasn't half that good. I'm rather settled on the 4nine mod after looking further into all the ones I mentioned. Plus the fact if they came sealed or not always bugged me since mine was cheaply painted.
