You're a good man to set up your friends, Joe. I won't do that for many reasons, but I'm more than happy to give them information and links to let them make their own decisions. For me, part of the vaping experience was coming here and asking questions, doing my research, and ultimately deciding which PVs were right for me. I was "ready". If I just hand my friends a PV, I have a feeling they are more curious than ready, so they're on their own. Good luck...hope you find some disposables that work for your needs. Just out of curiosity how many people have you turned on to vaping? I think I may have actually hooked two out of six or seven. Not bad odds at all!

It sure is frustrating, Joe. I'm having trouble wrapping my mind around the FDA and this one, too. It leads me down one road and one road only, which is MONEY. As it stands, the gov't makes no money from VP's...and that's the issue. But, the fact that "they" would rather we smoke actual cigarettes just totally ticks me off.

I'm going to have to send this to my cousin who reports for a local station in Oregon!

Thanks, Brian. Sorry, just now saw your reply. Guess I'll save the $6 and go with Joye. Of course, I can't find them in stock with the guys I want to support, but such is life. While I'm asking atomizer questions...what exactly does it mean to "break in an atty"? How long does this process usually take? I've been using mine for a week...is it broken in yet?

I'm still new to vaping...less than a week...and I flood my atty regularly. I think I sometimes direct drip, take a drag, sit it down for a while and drip again. Then I'll notice juice all over my fingers holding the PV. D'oh! I'm sure it just takes time to get used to the whole thing and six days in, I'm a lot better at it than I was on day two. Hang in there, the learning curve will come.

I care, Jen. I've had the Choco Java for a few days and the more I vape it, the more I like it. I agree that a bit more java would make it just about perfect. I'm also liking Dulcis the more I try it. I have TT, but haven't tried it yet...been stuck on Grape Soda mostly. I'm interested to hear what you think of Sweet Dawn. I think it's actually pretty good...and, as with the rest, the more I vape, the more I like it.

I got some today at Hobby Lobby. Wilton brand. 2 FL OZ (59mL) for $2.18, less the 40% off coupon (usually found in the Sunday paper) made it $1.31.

I agree, TeriJo. I don't recall having any problem getting cigarettes before I was 18. Or the occasional alcohol. Where there's a will there's a way -- and something forbidden always brings more will -- especially for teenagers.

Brian...I've still been wondering about this. Are the Janty attys better than the Joye 510s? Wonder why they no longer come with them. The picture of the Spade in the VP store shows the gold band Janty. My atty started working again for some odd reason, btw. Guess it just needed a rest.

*Update* I ordered a double 510 kit, the Spade, and a VP/PT. I figured "better safe than sorry". Anyway, it all arrived last Thursday. So far, so good...I think. Here's what I've noticed with analogs since then...and I am still smoking...they are tasteless, except the after taste which is just horrid. The one I just took three drags from in the garage has left me smelling a skunky aroma on the sleeve of my sweatshirt. Blech. I went into vaping without the intention to quit analogs...but it just may work! I think I've had five smokes today. I can totally see how people stop smoking, though. This is great! No STINK, no ash, no fire proof cigs going out on you. I also ordered mostly 24mg juice from VT and I think that's a bit too high for me. I like my 16mg grape soda as my "all day" vape. I've got some no nic on the way and plan to use those to just sit around and toke. When I really crave a smoke, I'll fire up the nicotine juices. That's my plan, anyway. Anyone else do this? Thank you all for your advice and help in choosing my PV's...I like them both!

I'm looking for good, solid articles and testing results articles to print out and keep in my car to defend my "right to vape". I live in Ohio and have printed out the Ohio Revised Code regarding the smoking ban (which clearly does not include PVs). And, I have printed out an article where the spokesman for the Ohio Department of Health states e-cigarettes are not included in the ban. But, I want more. Facts, figures, testing, etc. If a business owner asks me not to vape in their establishment, I won't, but I would like to be prepared to give them information about vaping and exactly what it is and/or isn't. Does anyone already have bookmarks/links to this information?

Interesting. None of mine have a gold band with Janty engraved on them...they are all black. Guess I'll just eat this one. I'll have to mark them in the future so I know where they came from. I figured I was SOL on this one. Thanks for the help.
