    Airborne Exposure Limits:

AIHA Workplace Environmental Exposure Level (WEEL): Vapor and Aerosol = 50ppm; Aerosol, only = 10mg/m3.

    Ventilation System:

A system of local and/or general exhaust is recommended to keep employee exposures below the Airborne Exposure Limits. Local exhaust ventilation is generally preferred because it can control the emissions of the contaminant at its source, preventing dispersion of it into the general work area. Please refer to the ACGIH document, Industrial Ventilation, A Manual of Recommended Practices, most recent edition, for details.

    Personal Respirators (NIOSH Approved):

If the exposure limit is exceeded, a half-face respirator with an organic vapor cartridge and particulate filter (NIOSH type P95 or R95 filter) may be worn for up to ten times the exposure limit or the maximum use concentration specified by the appropriate regulatory agency or respirator supplier, whichever is lowest. A full-face piece respirator with an organic vapor cartridge and particulate filter (NIOSH P100 or R100 filter) may be worn up to 50 times the exposure limit, or the maximum use concentration specified by the appropriate regulatory agency or respirator supplier, whichever is lowest. Please note that N series filters are not recommended for this material. For emergencies or instances where the exposure levels are not known, use a full-face piece positive-pressure, air-supplied respirator. WARNING: Air-purifying respirators do not protect workers in oxygen-deficient atmospheres.

  2. No just that Johnson Creek Juice in general doesn't have a strong flavor. This has been said on a few video reviews. I myself have only tried their none PG i have yet to try the PG version. Look up Johnson Creek Video reviews on Youtube and you'll find a few that say the same thing

  3. i already did ... hope he can arrange alternative payment

whats the big diff with vg and pg tho ?

Well some people such as yourself have a bad reaction to PG fo various reasons. kolobok_mrgreen.gif Because of this Johnsons creek created a none PG forumula which uses a high food-grade vegetable glycerin said to be a "safe consumable compound used in many desserts and sauces"

I've used both myself. What's nice is that there really is no vapor difference, at least not notable. I know sometimes when I smoke a lot of the PG my lungs get a little tight, although this is rare. When that happens I'll switch over to Johnson Creek Juice none PG and I have no issues at all. It's great. I just wished their flavors where a bit stronger. If you end up working something out give the Vanilla Ice Cream a try and the Peach cobler, both taste pretty damn good. kolobok_smile.gif

Here is some more info about PG: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Propylene_glycol

  4. wait a minute that doesn't sound like an allergic reaction to PG at all. That sounds like the effect we all get at first.

How long have you been smoking? You have to remember that once you move over to electronic smoking you get some of the same effects as quiting. One of which is coughing. Your body now has a chance to rid of all the crap that has been building up in your lungs, trust me your cough will get worse before it gets better.

However only you know your own body.

  5. Taken from Right To Vape

Please could you help us to keep track of laws that have been enforced in different countries regarding PVs.

Mexico: Banned because design is too similar to a cigarette.

Australia: Nicotine liquid banned because of poisons legislation.

New Zealand: Nicotine liquid cannot be sold commercially but can be imported for personal use.

Israel: Something about nicotine liquid not being allowed ... can anyone be more specific?

Denmark: PVs have been classed as medical devices so can't be sold there (please correct me if this is wrong, I'm not sure about details)

Belgium: ban, though not being enforced at all, both traders and users are operating as usual...

Netherlands: no ban, but no advertizing allowed except for devices without nicotene

Jordan Banned PVs also. I don't know legal details http://www.jordantimes.com/?news=13857

Iran: I heard something about a ban there because of the ingredients in eliquid. Again, I'm not sure.

Please add details if you can and add to the list. Thanks.

  6. kolobok_mad.gif Alright so it's time to share a little about this winner,

First you may have read in another post that he has just placed a billboard in his hometown with "YES you can Obama." He is offering a free starter kit to the president to help him quite smoking. It's highley unlikley that they are going to let the most poewrfull and influencial man in the world smoke somthing from some random e-cig supplier. But you gotta give this guy credit for PR! kolobok_exclaim.gif

The issue here, is that at the end of the day there is nothing to prove that Electronic Cigarettes are safe. Period. Yes we are all smoking them and we're fine BUT there is no study backing them up. He's just asking for the FDA to step in a pull these things from the market until they are tested. I suppose that isn't a bad thing, but this just isn't the right way to go around doing it. I hope that if he piss's of the president it's on him and not the whole community of E Smokers.

Second his prices are absolutely insane! He's going to make it into our next video. kolobok_mad.gif He is selling atomizers for over 30 bucks! kolobok_evil.gif HA HA you have got to be kidding me. Not to mention a basic RN4082 kit (Super Mini) is $100 bucks! Holy Crap!

Anyway for those of you coming in from Google and Yahoo on your long research spree about the E-Cig don't by from this Jackass, instead by from Puresmoker.com, altsmoke.com etc Hell you can even buy from Njoy, even they don't rip you off that bad and their prices are pretty high.

  7. That's great that they are giving away free samples! kolobok_smile.gif BUT....

Mariluz Baez, a representative from Florida-based Smoking Anywhere LLC, which produces the so-called "e-cigarettes," said, "We're saying that it is a healthier way to smoke because there is only nicotine and water vapor."

Because it has the nicotine, Baez said, "You get the same satisfaction as a normal cigarette."

There is no secondhand smoke or lingering toxins that can cause wrinkles on your face, she said.

"It is a lot healthier," said Baez, who personally uses the Smoking Anywhere classic model.

There is a little problem here... Smoking Anywhere states "it is a lot healthier." Although we can make that assumption, there is no scientific proof to back that statement. There have been no official studies done that can back that claim. Sure the 4000 chemicals in analogs to the 4 in Electronic Cigarettes definitely puts the odds again the analog but again there is no long term studies done on the effects. It's these types of comments that are going to get the E Smoke market in some hot water with the FDA.

But I guess it's better sooner than later so we get an answer kolobok_neutral.gif

  8. Stop by California we good some good looking ones here too!

But yea you may as well use up the carts, Pure Smoker is definitely the way to go, I order 90% of my items through Puresmoker. The only issue with them at the moment is they run out of stock on almost everything every couple weeks. But the wait is worth it. Try the Penstyle I'm sure you'll be happy with it.

  9. Hey Randz Welcome to the forum bud! Here are some answers for you

    1. the battery life is kinda poor it lasts approx 5 smokes in which vapour production keeps getting less (abt 2 hrs)

Doesn't sound like you charged your batteries properly. When it unit first arrives it must be charged for around 10 hours. REGARDLESS OF THE GREEN LIGHT.

You should get around 4 hours battery life for the most part. If not then try charging your batter again but make sure that it's plugged in for 4 hours, again don't listen to that stupid green light!

    2. the atomizer is built into the cart and get a little too hot for my lips

I've never heard this before! So we've got one of 2 problems going on

    1. You are sucking WAY to hard on the electronic cigarette. Tone it down, you can't smoke it like a normal cigarette take long slow puffs rather that deep hard ones. You really don't have to suck that hard either, just make sure the LED is turn on. Sucking harder will not always get you more vapor like a traditional cigarette would.

    2. You may have a bad electronic cigarette. I've never had an atomizer get so hot it burns my lips, it should never get hotter than about what a normal cigarette would get(at least on your lips anyway).

    3. sometimes i get a burnt taste i guess it's because of the atomizer overheating .. (still produces a decent amt of vapour)

Yup sounds like your automizer is overheating for sure! Again it could be because your sucking on it to hard, because you got a bad automizer, or because the carts are dry. This is why we all use liquid, it's really the only way to go. It always keeps your automizer moist, it tastes MUCH better than the "marlboro" falvor and you normally get much more vapor

    4. the menthol flavour doesnt taste anywhere close to mentol

Very true. Although this depends on the supplier. I've heard there are some suppliers who offer menthol that is very close to the real thing. You have to understand that these will never been the same as a real cigarette but they will come very close. That's why we all smoke cola, and Riskee etc

Good luck and post back if you have any more questions!

  10. Well I have the Pilot with me as we speak along with the Penstyle. I'm not ready to give a review on the Pilot as I haven't used it enough.

But the Penstyle, WOW. What a frickin beast this thing is. Where have you been all my life? Vacker this could be your next ecig, large amount of vapor and a very easy draw. Carts are much bigger and flavor is stronger. It's like I've started e smoking all over again! haha_32.png

As for refilling your carts, you can actually tell when the cart is shot. Usually it will start to turn a funny color or the wool will start to fall out. I also drip on the cotton, I have a syringe but I'm to lazy to fill it. The syringe does give you better results, but drop and puff works fine for me.
