For finish I like 400 or 600 grain sandpaper. I use it on my leather/plastic repairs. And an air compressor is AWESOME for getting water out of attys after you rinse 'em.

Keep modding it... you go, Tam!! Got some D&D Honeysuckle in at Kanger T3 today. Will compare the experience... in like 5 days or so.

I got it at a flea market so no idea what brand it really is. I thought it would glow in the dark (it doesn't). But being transparent is actually cooler than glowing in this application.

Wow, I vaped a full 10mL bottle of GP's Vanilla-X this week out of my new Vivi Nova. The Vivi Nova gives me plumes of vapor like a smoke machine and I love it (and it's green). I got it with a (green) transparent Knucklehead Drip Tip. Here are my thoughts: 1. The Vivi leaks internally a little and needs minor cleaning every morning when I re-fill it (where are the Q-Tips?) 2. When the Vivi gets empty-ish it likes to be turned horizontally or at higher angles (stupid clearo-top-coils) 3. The knucklehead is transparent so I can see the juice accumulate at these anti-gravitational angles (warnings are nice) 4. At 1/4 full and below I am able to hold the battery up at the 3:00/9:00 position and it will catch any juice in the 'knuckle' 5. The knucklehead makes it less uncomfortable to vape at weird angles (unless you are super-posable spiderman) Conclusion: Thanks to the design combo with the knucklehead, none of this frustrates me at all!!

Hello and welcome to the forum. I had a similar problem wanting more puffs when I started so I got 6-8mg/mL nicotine. Vision Spinner or ego twist battery is a good place to start thanks to variable voltage (more volts = hotter vape) but it isn't shaped like a cigarette so the bigger battery lasts longer. I'd suggest to find some different juice flavors that look tasty. Then get some blank cartos to put the flavors in (and a few extras) and when you have a favorite put it into something fancy. If you get KR808D-1 adapter you can use all your stuff with anything. Just google it and plenty will come up.

After 6 weeks where did this journey end up?? What was on the second order?? Did you cut down the nic juice or make vanilla cupcakes out of your blueberry/pomegranate yet?? Toasted marshmallow Tobacco anyone??

Thanks so much Mike for the speedy reply. I really don't mind if the flavors have PG and I might even get 60mL or so of PG for variety but I found a gallon of food grade kosher VG on e-bay. I don't have access to moonshine either... but didn't want liquor-breath when I vape anyway. The main thing I need is nic juice because I just don't trust that it will be available indefinately. How long will VG Nicotine concentrate last in a dark closet?? I was looking at flavors like Holy Vanilla, French Vanilla, and Nilly Bean Ice Cream to get my DIY feet wet. Wasn't sure what sweetners I might want for them (like Ethyl Malto) but I'm not really worried about flavorings becoming obsolete any time soon. Just want the bare minimums to get started with tasty juice but lots of the base ingredients to keep me going.

Hello and welcome. Variable Voltage ego/Vision Spinner (same connection) and anything with a replacable head like a vivi nova or a kanger. Until you find yer favorite flavors you may even want some empty cheap cartos on hand as well. I hate cartos but they served their purpose when I wanted a change-up from whatever was in my tank. When I'm at home I like direct dripping.

Looming legislation has me wanting DIY Nic juice ASAP. So I was looking at the DIYFlavorShack tonight and got to looking at e-juice calculators. If I get Unflavored VG base and VG Nicotine how much of a percentage of distilled water should I estimate in the calculations?? I am unfamiliar with pure VG thickness and have never vaped 100% VG before. I just know I want food-grade VG if I'm gonna DIY and I have plenty of distilled water around here.

On Saturday I got some Vanilla-X by GP FlavorFull e-Liquids and now is the third day with it. Already I have vaped 5mL of it and I'm still hooked. I gotta get more of this stuff.

Just came from Morning Star this afternoon and the E-cig shop IS still there!! It's the place in the first building that sells license plates. I got a Vision Vivi Nova in green and they had all kinds of juice and different Ego's and whatnot. I also got a glow-in the-dark knucklehead drip-tip to go with the whole green-theme. They even had a Vamo and an e-Vic in stock. Awesome service and they had me fill the tank while I was there. The Vanilla-X juice I put in there is flippin' awesome too. So I'm not stuck with just mail order anymore, yay!!

Hey i just got a Vivi Nova, found a green tank for it to match my spinner. It's 510 threaded so it fits an ego but it's not ego threaded so you'll have a ledge unless you have an adapter to cover yer ego threads. The 2.8 ohm will bring out the flavor but less heat. So the 1.8 ohm would give you warmer vapor. My experience has been higher ohms for darker/thicker juices to avoid a burnt taste. So far at day one i love the way the Vivi Nova vapes!!
