  1. For future reference, there's this great new web site where you can do searches and stuff and find almost anything you're looking for. It's called Google, and the URL is http://www.Google.com.
  2. I got the 510 adapter as well. I discovered that the batteries do carry a charge, so I'm vaping away, and so far I love it. Mark, at MadVapes, is shipping the correct charger and told me how to jury rig the one I've got if the batteries run down before I get the right one. The reason I got is so fast is because MadVapes is located here in North Carolina. Having said that, Mark has been fantastic responding to my e-mail detailing my error and is shipping the correct charger out to me right away. It's amazing how great customer service has been with the retailers I've dealt with since I started vaping. Outstanding!
  3. Received my new DSE905 in the mail today from MadVapes. I was tickled because I just ordered it yesterday! Unpacked everything, laid it all out on the table, picked up the batteries...and found out I order the wrong charger. Waiting to hear if I can make a trade, and also upping the dose on my medication.
  4. How about V-Pete? Or there's always "Big Johnson"...
  5. Even if you were smoking analogs, unless the smoke was being sucked up the stairwell into his space he would not be getting anything second hand if he's on a floor above you. It is also highly unlikely that there would be enough nicotine left in what you exhale to hardly be detectable, let alone trigger "nicotine withdrawal" in him. This guy is a first class ***hat, plain and simple. I would almost bet that he is also a supreme brown nose. Unfortunately, if the boss bought into his crap there's not a long you can do about it other than stealth vape. Since there is no lingering smell, if you just hold the vapor in for a couple of seconds longer, there will be very little vapor exhaled. Then the moron won't have anything to complain about.
  6. Keep in mind, though, that PG and VG have both been used for years in theatrical fog machines. That vapor is inhaled all the time by those on stage. So there is precedent. Added later: Oops...should have clicked on the links first.
  7. One tip about vaping in public places is to be somewhat discreet doing so. I tend to hold the vapor in longer than normal, and when I exhale there isn't much vapor that can be seen. So far, the result is that no one seems to catch on and aren't convinced I'm "smoking" in a no smoking environment. There have been some curious looks, but no one has said anything.
  8. Thanks so much for the tip. I just placed my order. I have been thinking about upgrading for the longer battery life, and this comes at a great time. I was kind of waiting for the Joker, and will probably still get one when it becomes available, but this will address my needs in the short term. I ordered the 905, a 510 adapter and batteries and charger for a little over $60. That is indeed a great price.
  9. I'm not sure about the high voltage angle, but I have noticed that there is a big difference in consistency from source to source. That translates into how well the juice wicks in the atty, or at least it appears so to me. The juice I just got from Ms. T's Bakery Essentials is a 50/50 PG/VG mix, but has a fairly thin consistency. I've notice that when I refill my cart it takes more drips to do so and I am refilling less often. Since it is part VG, the vapor production is much higher than my previous PG-only juices. Another thing that may be a factor in high voltage usage might be the strength of the flavor in the juice. If there is minimal flavor at 3.7V, I would suspect that it would not hold up at 4-5V. But that's purely speculation on my part.
  10. I can't help but wonder what the judge who issued the injunction would say about the FDA's actions. I don't believe he said the FDA had no authority over the plaintiffs, I think he just said they have no authority. Seems to me that the FDA could be found in contempt of court. I wonder if Awesome Vapor contacted the plaintiffs attorney with an e-mail if something wouldn't happen.
  11. I went back and looked, and the 2200mAh reference was to a different batter. The 10440 does say 500mAh though.
  12. I am contemplating placing an order for a Spade and have a question about the batteries. I was doing a little research on availability of the 10440 battery and found that there are a variety of 10440 protected batteries out there. Some were rated at 500mAh, and I found one that was 2200mAh. Can any of these be used with the Spade, or is there an upper limit. I know the mAh is more about how long they hold a charge, but wasn't sure if there were other factors I need to be aware of.
  13. I'm not an expert...don't even play one on TV...but I'm wondering if maybe you pulled the mesh off the bridge in the atty. That appears to be black to me. If so, so of that may have fallen down onto the "hot" part of the atty and you're getting a taste of that being burnt. I'm sure Chris or someone with more knowledge will chime in on this.
  14. Until a reliable study comes along that tells me that the risks of vaping approach the risk of smoking tobacco, I will choose to vape. I have tried in the past to stop cigarettes using patches, pharmaceuticals, and gum. The result was the same...I'd stop for a while (as long as three years) and then start again. Right now, I have no desire to smoke tobacco. None! That is amazing. And from all that I've seen and read, this is a much better choice, health-wise. Is it completely safe? Probably not. There are still the negative effects of nicotine in my system. But the multitude of carcinogens have been eliminated. The FDA is absolutely ridiculous in their approach, and the stop smoking organizations, including the American Heart Association are completely missing an opportunity to effect real change in the area of tobacco usage. There is also the economic factor. Can you imagine the number of jobs created, and the money put into the economy if they would get behind this and encourage American companies to start producing and selling e-cig kits and parts? It boggles my mind.
  15. Sorry I posted this in the wrong spot, Chris. Chalk it up to Noob mistakes.
  16. I've tried all three flavors, and they really are all good. I wouldn't say the coffee is super strong. The taste kind of reminds me of coffee candy I used to get when I was a kid. There is no doubt that your getting coffee flavor.
  17. I concur with the performance of the mega batteries. I ordered one with my 510 kit, and it will last at least twice as long as the regular batteries. Compared to my first e-cig, an RN4075, which had the automatic battery, there really is no comparison. Until I got the 510, I was wondering if this e-cig thing was worth it. The RN4075 produced hardly any vapor, the batteries only held a charge for about two hours and there was very little throat hit, no matter what strength of e-juice I used.
  18. Thanks for all of the good information!
  19. I just got my first order of juice from Ms. T's Bakery Essentials. And all I can say is, "Wow!!" I got Coffee, Grape Jelly and Red Hot Cinnamon Sticks for my first order, and there isn't a bad flavor among them. And I do mean flavor! There is absolutely no question about what it is you're vaping here. You won't find any tobacco flavors among the choices on her site, but Ms. T has a great variety. I've been vaping just long enough to know that I don't care about tasting tobacco any more. What I'm looking for is a decent throat hit and a good taste in my mouth when I get done. All three juices I ordered in a 20-24mg strength, and I'm probably going to go up on that with my next order. But I still get a decent nicotine hit from the vapor that is produced. These juices are a 50/50 mix of PG and VG, so the vapor production is exceptional. I thought I was hooked before, but this pretty much seals the deal.

    Pass Through

I would recommend getting some of the 510 mega batts to help with the battery life issue. I got mine from Electro Nic Stix, and the mega lasts at least twice as long as the regular battery. Another thing I've noticed with the mega batteries is that the amount of vapor doesn't seem to fall off as much as the battery loses charge.
  21. Wet Your Stick got my order to me on the third day after I placed it, and I'm in North Carolina. WYS is in Arizona, so I thought that was remarkable.
  22. I'm not addicted...WAIT!!! I left my e-cig in the other room...
  23. I've been wiping down the outside of the cart every time I fill. Maybe I'll give a little blow through it to clear the excess liquid at the same time.
  24. I don't have anything quite as elaborate as yours. I use a tin container that our vet was handing out with samples of flea treatment for our cats. It's about half the size of a cigar box, so it's handy to carry with me. In it, I have two spare 510 batteries, 4 spare 510 atties, two RN4075 batteries (my first e-cig), and a RN4075 atty, a box of 510 carts, and five or six bottles of assorted juices. I'm thinking about getting a Spade, or waiting for the Joker, so my little tin may not be big enough any more. I'm already getting tired of the almost constant battery charging. I use a 510 PT when I'm working at my desk and will replace that with at VT PT when it dies. But I want something that lasts a little longer when I'm out and about.
  25. I've learned a pretty good lesson, I think. It's a good idea to change out the filler in the cart if you fill it instead of dripping. I had been using the same cart for about ten days or so, and then today every time I took a draw on it after refilling I got a mouthful of juice. Finally, the brain woke up and I put in a new cart and the problem went away. Maybe my old-timer's disease is worse than I thought. What I learned is that the filler eventually gets over saturated and the result is juice being sucked into my mouth. I love vaping, but a mouthful of juice...not so much. The dumb thing is that I've got a whole sheet of filler material and there's no reason not to change it out ever 2-3 days. I've just been a little on the lazy side.
