I second the MarineLand Right-Size U - Bonded foam sleeve. ~$10 for a 3-pack in DFW area. - Cut it into triangles: Such that, in the bottom of the cart, it is not compressed, yet at the top of the cart, it is compressed by 50%. I get 5-10 drop top-offs. Once, I did a 16 drop top-off! Note: If you cut it too small, it will leak. I also use the 'straw mod', just for good measure. I like 3/32" Tech-Tron heat shrink tubing (flexible Poly-olefin $1.19 at Fry's Electronics for ~5 feet) - pre shrunk with a heat-gun, cut at an angle for the bottom of the cart and flush with the top. (This speeds up top-offs and wicking for heavy vapeing). For broadband Internet, be sure to check for WIFI internet in you area. If not, check for T-Mobile and ATT Edge mobile Internet. Video on dial-up sucks. - Start video, wait for it to start playing, pause it, go to bed, wake up, try playing it -if the DL was not interrupted, you should be good.

Now I see the smiley! lol Well, I'm way too paranoid to risk letting PayPal freeze my life's savings. So, I guess I'll stick with option #3. Except I'll keep the account open to have a convenient place to cash rebate checks.

I did some research and did not come up with a definitive answer. I did find a lot of PayPal hate and maybe an outdated solution. Listed, worse to best in my current opinion: 1. Link your main bank account. (Not wise, in the least) 2. Get a PayPal credit card. (I did not look into this much. I certainly don't need another card). 3. Open a new bank account. (Just for PayPal and close it, out after verification) [Kind of stupid IMO]. 4. Verify address by having PayPal snail-mail a code to my house. (I like, but can't figure out how to do it). I would prefer option #4 if someone can tell me how. Is this no longer an option? I am prepared to do option #3, but it seams deceitful to the poor bank that I will be screwing over. Also it seams that I will have to click something to ensure that the money will come from my credit card instead of my linked bank account, each and every purchase. Is this true? It seems odd, that they can trust me with $10K over the last 10 years, without any verification. Yet require verification for any more. That's got to be some kind of hype/trickery. Please limit replies to just helpful statements of how to get verified, etc, there is too much PayPal hate on the net. - It is already known, that PayPal should not be trusted, any more than is necessary.

Wayne mentioned that they were about to upgrade to brown glass bottles and I quickly talked him out of it. Sure glass is better for long term storage, but it is too easy to spill and it is a nightmare when it breaks. Also, the colored bottles prevent you from seeing the true color of the juice (very important IMO). My biggest pet peeve is big labels that prevent you from seeing how much is left in the bottle. Maybe, I just like looking at my juice. lol I am a cheap bastard that drinks coke. When there is a good sale on, I buy a lot! I found that plastic 2 liters go stale within a month or two, while cans hold up well, for more than a year. [What has this got to do with the price of cheese in Switzerland? I have no clue, but it seemed relevant when the thought entered my mind]. The point is, that if carbonation can leak out under pressure within a months time, nic can evaporate through the plastic within (the supposed) '2 year shelf-life' of the juice. That said, I just had a friend use some 8 month old Chinese 36mg juice that was stored in a Chinese plastic bottle. He has not complained. I am certainly glad that HG's finally upgraded the bubble wrap they use. I used to hold my breath while unwrapping delivery's. I don't even want to know what the old stuff was made from! lol

My last power outage, I happened to have my cordless phone, a very small TV, and all my 901 chargers hooked to a UPS. I had to go find a lighter to light my oil lamp. 5 minutes later I discovered that oil lamps stink!!! - Now I keep a battery powered lantern handy.

I would not have done as well. When asking permission to vape in a non-smokers house, I always tell them that I may be exhaling a small amount of nic IMHO. I have never grown 'the extra potent stuff', and doubt that I ever will, except for it's anti-bug capabilities. In lesser forms it is no worse than caffeine. You can be certain that I am not your enemy, in no shape, factor, or forum. I like your forum, and I would like to stay here. I want to call it my home. Sorry for the drama, to the others here. OMG. What are are you vapeing?! LOL. - Seriously, what supplier lists their juice as Poison? I know my 901 passthrough requires a full 1 Amp (or more). My PC can not cut it at 0.5 Amp. Most USB chargers can not cut it. Do not blow vapor directly in to the detector. Blow it toward the floor and you shold be fine. Good info. - My parents have a detector that goes off, whenever it is humid. I tried to find out which type is more susceptible to humidity (false alarms). I was surprised to find that it is both types. (should not be installed in humid locations) It is a shame that we can not vape openly. I predict that the day will come (with a 48% expected accuracy).

Funny - On a antique motorcycle forum, PO refers to 'previous owner'. I'm sure glad I figured out that PO refers to our beloved 'post office' here. lol When I put down the stinkies, I found 36 to be too much, 18 caused me to vape every 2nd breath, 24 was just right. I don't recall a big change in throat-hit between the 3, mainly just the difference in nic intake. (too much in the mouth with 36, too little in the bloodstream with the 18, at the time). I am happily vaping 11 now, with plenty good throat-hit. So, I'd say either you have 2 bad parts or keenan was spot-on. I have recently read that there are a few different 510s out there true Joye510s, DSE510s, and fake 510s(?). So You might want to tell where you got it. I never use the 5 prefilled carts that come in the kits, so I have begun carrying a couple of them to give to people, that want to try mine. Certainly worth it to see the look on their face when they first taste it. lol I think it odd that it can taste so much like smoke till you are off smoke for several days/weeks. Then taste the same, yet nothing like smoke at all. How very confusing.

My favorite mod is the reticulated blue foam mod (fish tank mod) with the straw mod (for good measure), as I once went 16 drops between cart top-offs with it! [3-4 drops max with stock filler]. I see no reason for not having an adjustable voltage, regulated - high voltage mod. I believe that 6v is too high for the atty life-span and for the user, as higher temps can produce unhealthy chemicals. - IMO. I like my auto 901s at 4.2v. The 905 MOD measures 3.7v and is very wimpy. The 901 manuals have a cut-off that I dislike. 4.5v would be a dam good trade-off. Maybe crank it up to 4.8v when you have a real cravings or stress. I have read that the 510 is better. I tried some, alongside the 901 for over a month. I can not explain how, but I did not get my desired throat-hit with the 510s. So, I sold the used 510s to a guy that was using a 901. Now he swears that the 510 is better. Go figure! Regular 510/901 batts are rated 3.7v 180mAh but charge-up to 4.2v. The 3.7v ratings refer to the voltage when no longer fully charged like a typical 1.5v batt. Hoping to be helpful. BTW fatalis your signature is well, funny and good.

No more worries about flooding. And you can do it with one hand pretty easily. And you don't even have to watch what you're doing. When it's full of juice, it will stop taking any more up.

The mind can do amazing things to compensate for any loss of any sensations. I think that if your dad had several filled blunt 5ml syringes, he could learn how far to press in the plunger, for the amount of juice he needs. Wither it is carts or direct drip. At first, he may very well, want/need to place the device upside down, to drain any excess, before he uses it. – In time, I bet he can fill his own syringes. I would recommend that he have one draining, while using the other. It will not be cheaper until he is set-up and succeeds. I spent several hours writing a response to the other posts in this thread. - That is, until I realized that my original topic, and all of my side issues, are being completely dismissed, and ignored. What is the point in continuing this thread if it is going to be, recycled bits, in a week? Only 10% of the nicotine is actually absorbed by vaping. This is huge and is pro vape! IMO. I just want correct info to be here. -- I would think that the upper limit should be somewhere between 36mg and 48mg MAX. Anyone needs more than 48mg has an easy solution. (Just read the third to last statement) I tried 36mg, It made me feel like I had 3 pieces of Nicorette gum on my mouth (Very yucky, to say the least). So, I dropped down to 24mg, and was fine. 8 moths ago we all believed we were absorbing 98% of the nic that is the juice we are using. Then about 4- months ago a few EFC members had their doctors test there blood for nic concentration. There were, for the most part, heavy 36mg vapers. One in particular Vaped extra heavy for the 4 hours just before the test. The results were about 1/10th that of a smoker. Others tested their urine and or saliva for Cotinine. The results backed up the blood-test results. [i am very surprised that this is not discussed more]. As far as I know no one has figured out what happens to the other 90%. I assume that we just can not absorb it through the lungs. I also assume that absorption through skin is near 100%. IE the patch. I do not intend to make this a recommendation, I am only stating what I did, when I could not vape enough nic. I simply dripped 2-3 drops of 36mg on a Band-Aid. I never did it more than once per day. And yes, it did help with the cravings. After 4 months on 24mg, I easily reduce to 11mg in one step. Every now and then I get pissed are extremely frustrated, I'll vape some 24mg for a bit and then return to my 11mg. Hope this helps you Travis.

I can't imagine a VG only juice. I once mixed 2 parts 18mg PG Turkish Blended from HG, with 1 part USP VG. I got a lot more vapor but I didn't much care for the taste. So I put it in my truck for emergencies. Well, I forgot to carry juice one cold morning and tried to use it. I couldn't squeeze it out of the bottle till I warmed it up a bit. Way too thick to wick fast enough for me. I vape about 3-4 ml per day and believe that it causing me to have eyebrow dandruff. So I moisturize them with VG.

However, I think we would all agree that there does need to be a limit. Crap 1000mg should scare everyone. Correction: a lethal dose with 105mg liquid would be ~ 11.4 drops or .57ml. I am looking for any opinions of this supplier. A customer of mine alerted me to his CraigList ad. and told me that he offers 105mg nicotine for $40 for a 30ml. - I found his web-site. It is 6 months old and most of the links do not work yet. - Personally, I think this is too dangerous to be on the market, on the grounds that it would only take 35 'typical-size' drops can kill a full grown, healthy, adult, male. - - Way too easy to use as a weapon.
