  1. OK, I can see how a 510 cartomizer will last a very long time on a 3.7 volt device. I just filled one up to saturation and put it on my VP2. Vapor production is like any standard atomizer, but flavor is not as great as if it was on a 6 volt device. I keep looking at the filling, and noticed that it's not being used up as fast. So, low voltage lasts a long time, 6volts is used up quickly, so I wonder how it will work on a regulated 5volt device. Those of you out there with a Joker, or similar true 5v device please let me know how it works for you!
  2. I know there's been so many threads of Cartomizers, and I just got some in today and tried it for the first time. I've been filling them from the top, remove the white rubber cap and fill them up slowly....Is the condom method better? it seems like they run out fast at 6 Volts, by fast, i mean they last longer than direct dripping, i just though they would last even longer.......maybe the liquid is not getting all that way down into the bottom.
  3. Bruce from Clouds of Vapor just sent me a sample of Rath Waffle. OMG! All I can say is, IHOP. I'll be trying more RATH juice on my next order!
  4. That's tight...I think it will sell.. mos' definitely!
  5. I can't say that i can directly attribute my nose bleeds in the past to vaping and that's because I've had them all my life and just learned how to deal with them. I used to get them in the middle of the night, and it would wake me up immediately. But now that I'm older, and have to rely on a CPAP machine for my sleep apnea, the humidity the machine produces works so well in my favor; it keeps my nasal passages from drying out. It's only during like the winter when the humidity is so low, and about half an hour after i take the mask off, i'll get a nose bleed from dry air. I usually don't xhale through my nose, so i'm probably not getting dried out from that, but I can see how the PG will dry you out if you do blow it through your nose. But, its vapor, shouldn't that in itself keep your nasal passages moist anyhow?
  6. I'm just like you. I get nosebleeds often. It's all usually attributed to the weather. When its dry, I get them everyday. I've never been able to link vaping to nosebleeds. One of these days I'm just going to get that capillary in my nose cauterized so I don't have to deal with it anymore. Yes, water helps. Stay hydrated!
  7. I've had similar issues with mine after two months. The switch would act up by either making the LED flicker; had to wiggle the switch to get it to stay on; sometimes the LED would work when there was no atty connected and it would go out as soon as you connected an atty to it. I simply don't know what's going on inside. You are probably just going to have to send it back for warranty work. That's what I did. They fixed it, and it works fine now. I haven't had that same problem since. They're pretty good about turning around repair work and getting the device back to you in about 7 days. Good Luck!
  8. Great explanation miatafrank! Lately (and my preferences change often), I've been vaping at 7.4 volts (8.4 fully charged) with 5.5 ohm atomizers. This gives me a wattage range throughout the battery life of 12.8 to about 7.6 watts. Yes, it's strong at first, but after a few hits, the voltage drops to a nice level and stays there for a long time. Would you be so kind as to explain to everybody "loaded" voltages, and how to calculate them?
  9. Huh? Not quite sure I understand. Doesn't everything come out of China? So, no starter kits anymore? Where is Janty from? So all we have now is American products?
  10. That one tonight hit Norman pretty hard. It's almost like with as spread out as this place is, It's almost like mother nature is being fair by distributing the damage equally. First it was Moore, and Choctaw, then the second one beat the crap out of the northern cities, now this third one pelted the southern areas of OKC. It's crazy. At least tonight, we're safe, but tomorrow night is gonna be ANOTHER attack wave.
  11. Yup, 3rd attack wave scheduled for sometime tonight and tommorow. Batten down the hatches once again. Before this season is over, my roof is going to look like the Battlestar Galactica at the end of the fourth season!
  12. LOL! Sure, man. Let's forget about all the really great conversations we have on these forums-the research and learning, opinions, approaches, campaigning and friendly support groups and regress to making funny faces on the video chat! ROFL! I feel a new contest idea taking form--who can make the best dog "ace" face with their mouths!! Bet that will get national vaping atention! Everybody flocks to vapor talk to check out the insanity happening there!
  13. Good luck with that....no need to post pictures...I'll take your word for it..LOL! Shall we all get in the video chat and share our attempts and mimicking?
  14. hehe, your link didn't work. Chrome couldn't find it. It's the same link as the other one right? Thanks for looking! I still haven't got it yet.
  15. He's the vape ring master! All of that with a little standard e-cig! Gonna keep watching that over and over! Thanks a bunch! Any other tips or trick welcome!
  16. In the 18 years I've been smoking I've never really tried to master blowing smoke rings. Now that my device puts out more vapor than a cigarette, I've been sitting here at work, reading my statistics class schoolwork, trying to make vapor rings. I'm getting a bit frustrated. What's the technique behind it? Is there even a technique? Is it a mouth compression or a lung compression? If you can do it, please chime in and give me a few pointers.
  17. Lego bits! Ahhhh! I went to Bass Pro Shops and picked up some of those bigger plastic tackle organizers. I'm teaching my 4 year old to keep his legos in them. I showed him how to organize the parts, but I'm leaving it up to him on how he wants to do it. Each night I make him put all his legos away cuz I hate seeing them on the floor!! I've been making him play with them at this table in his room, and only his creations come out of his room to show us, that way he has to go back to his table to build more! Man, this is way off topic, but it's still fun talking about it!
  18. My boy is 4 and he went through a whole year of nothing but hot wheels cars, now his little brother is starting to play with them, that's why they're all over the house once again. I think I'm making molding collectors out of both of them. First Hot Wheels, then Bakugan, now it's Lego Star Wars. I can't wait till they start reading, then its gonna be all about comic books! Live vicariously through your kids. Re-visit your own childhood- that's the way to go!
  19. Good choice! The 7271 is not a bad purchase. So it fits everything I have, and that's not much compared to many on these forums. That compartment in the lower right is what I use to store all my attys. i used my wife's label maker to organize all of my different atomizer types. I organize by Ohm rating, rather than model. its easier to distinguish between 510, 901, and 801 rather than Ohm rating, so if i have more than one style of atty with the same ohm rating, I just put them all in the same compartment. Mine only came with two of those removable compartments but I bought 2 more. I labeled each section from lowest Ohm to greatest: 1.5, 2.2, 2.5, 2.9, 3.5, 4.2, 5.2. The last three are empty just in case more ratings come out on the market (then I'll have to peel off the labels and start over again). The other two plastic containers hold an assortment of parts, such as old 510 batteries, old 901 batteries, atomizer connectors, adapters, cotton swabs, plastic cartridges (i don't know why i even keep those) and someday, Cartomizers. Those compartments in the top of the box are what i use to keep the things I use most often. Such as metal and plastic drip tips, one adapter of each kind, batteries, Spade, VP2, XHaler, syringe, Whatever I'm using at the moment. The center space is used for the bigger items such as chargers, Multimeter, tools, Everclear, spare parts for box mods, etc. And, of course, the three larger compartments hold juices. That's where I'm running out of room. Like I mentioned before, I think I'm gonna have to find some other storage solution for them. If you find something cool, please be sure to post it!
  20. I've got the same Plano 7271 and it's just about filled. You're right the next one up is too obtrusive. I keep Juices and hardware in there. Maybe the next step would be to separate the two. Just keep the hardware in the 7271 and all the juices in something like FTJoe was wanting to get, maybe a bit larger. I might have to steal my kids HOT WHEELS carrying case for a while. His cars are everywhere except in the case anyhow!
  21. I change juices quite frequently throughout the day while i'm at work. By the time I get home, my attys usually don't produce a very good taste. I believe it's because I've used it so much that there's residual juice left in the chamber that has gone bad because of the heat its put through (high volts), so even if I add more drops of any juice, it just dilutes into the already pooled heat-spoiled leftovers and just tastes bland. I've fallen into this habit of rotating 6 atomizers for one device setup. I keep two of the same on me while i'm out of the house. Ine primary, and one backup. When I get home i clean them--just to get the leftover crap liquid that's built up in the chamber out so I can start anew. This is how I do it, and it's real quick and effective. I keep a small bottle of Everclear in my desk drawer. I also use one of those GLADWARE sealable containers-the really small size, the one that holds about 4 ounces or 1/2 a cup of liquid. I pour some everclear into it and use a "snot sucker"--I don't know the correct name for it--It's one of those bulbs that you use to suck the snot out of a baby's nose when they are sick. Anyhow, I've cut the nozzle back far enough to fit an atomizer into it. I insert the atty, threads first, into the opening. I use it to suck up about a 1/4 cup of (2 oz) of everclear and squeeze it out again. Repeat for about 3 or 4 times and the liquid now looks like the color of apple juice. I throw it (the liquid) out after I clean the second atomizer. i let them dry, and just use the second pair (remember, I rotate 3 pairs). This works best for me to get rid of the old nasty juices left in a atomizer. It's not actually cleaning the heating element, it's just cleaning out anything left in the wire mesh and fibers inside the chamber. My attys seem to last longer by doing this once a day. You can do this with water, or just about anything liquid, I just think that the everclear works fairly well.
  22. pineapple-mango from bombdropsvapor. Caution! These Juices are extremely Bomb.
  23. FTJoe, Maybe the second one is a bit bigger, and it looks like everything will fit in there, but there's no room for more stuff, and we always get more stuff. So far everything I have, and I don't have nearly as much as you, will fit in my PLANO 7271. I'm running our of room, and will have to find a bigger organizer. I'd suggest you find your nearest Bass Pro Shops and look at all the hundreds of tackle boxes and organizers they have in the store.
  24. Here is a picture of one of MY holes. I patched it up last night, but you could of seen right through it. There were a total of 19 holes last night. For ICE to punch right through shingle, and wood, imagine the size and force behind it. It could kill.
  25. The Hail in the videos were plentiful, whereas the larger hail my area got hit with were not as plentiful, but were larger. Here's a picture of my neighbors house from my backyard. Every house on my block looks like this....Those are holes.
