  1. Okay I have been using clearomizers but at $6 a pop they are getting a little pricy for me. After I clean them they just don't seem to work well or taste as good as a new one. I can use one for about 3 days before it needs cleaning. I'm thinking about getting the cartomizers because at $23 for 5 boxes it seems like a better deal and I can switch out to a new one often. I have an ego-t system. Which Bogo cartomizers do I need to buy? What is the difference between these four options? LR 2.0 SR 3.0 XL LR 2.0 XL SR 3.0
  2. Holy crap, it's $150 with only one battery. My ego-t kit only cost $59.99. Is there a reason why this is so expensive?
  3. Warning...this is a really stupid question but I have no idea if it will work and wanted to ask before I tried it. I have the charger from my EGO-T kit that the USB plugs into the unit that goes into the wall. I am going on a trip tomorrow to Texas and accidently pulled my phone charger out of the part that plugs into the wall and left it at work. Can I use the wall unit that I use for my EGO battery to charge my cellphone. It's simply just a USB port. I didn't want to try it and have something happen to the phone or the charger for my EGO.
  4. I liked it actually. It was nice having some videos to watch and I didn't have to go looking for them.
  5. Welcome Merlin! Everyone here is friendly and has tons of advice and experience. Ask any question and it shall be answered.
  6. I'm both a caffeine addict and a nicotine addict. I used to drink a 12 pack of Mountain Dew every day and now I drink only Diet Coke. I didn't give up my habit, just switched it to a better alternative for me. I'm still getting the caffeine, just not the calories. Same with vaping. I probably vape continually when I'm at home but it is a lot easier to last at work without constantly thinking "when is my break!" so I can go out and smoke. It's also nice to pop in the bathroom for a couple of minutes and vape a little and then go back to what I was doing. My BIL stopped smoking and switched to the gum. He was chewing 18-20 pieces a day and that stuff is expensive. Still he got pats on the back for quitting when it seems that people that vape get told that they are just switching one addiction for another. I think that with Analogs we get addicted to the other crap in the cigarettes and it takes awhile for that to get out of our system. All this being said, nicotine itself won't kill you so I'm content with vaping for the rest of my life. I have no guilt and don't plan on quitting. As long as the option is out there I will use it. I have been cheating a bit lately though. Work has been pretty stressful the last couple of weeks. Got laid off and rehired a week and a half later so I bought a couple of packs. It's still better than the 2+ packs of cigarettes I was smoking. I'm trying to get someone at work to try the ecig but I haven't had much luck with that, LOL. I know if he'd just try it he'd be hooked. He has the vaping personality. I will continue to try because I think this is a much better option than smoking. Besides the more people we all get to vape the better it will be accepted.
  7. No I haven't changed my diet at all so that's why I thought it might be due to the flavor of e-liquid I am using.
  8. Okay, I searched and didn't see this topic so I thought I'd post. It's a little embarrassing actually. Ever since starting the ecig I've developed extreme gas. Not only that but it smells awful. Is this directly related to general vaping or from the e-liquid that I am vaping? I am vaping 70 VG Butter rum flavor most of the time. I also use a clearomizer. Not sure what it's from but it's got to stop! LOL. I will have a very hard time dating and one of the reasons I quit smoking was to open up my options a little more! HELP.
  9. Looks like the one on gotvapes.com as a short wick. the ones I'm using has a long wick. Is gotvapes.com a reputable supplier? How are their juices?
  10. I simply like the fact that I can go into the bathroom stall or the quiet room at work and vape and no one knows. I would hope no one is looking at me in the bathroom stall!
  11. WAIT! I work in a call center too! Damn it! LOL
  12. I love the clearomizers and never really liked direct dripping or those cartridges with the poly fill. I'm having a couple of problems. One, the cost. They are about $5.75 a piece which is about the same as a pack of cigarettes. Now I've been cleaning them but I hate that after you clean them a few times they just seem to get to the point where they don't work. Puffs of vapor instead of clouds and no TH. I've found if you keep them full then the wicks don't get as burnt or brown as fast so I've been doing that. When I clean them there is the o-ring that is on the mouthpiece which I've managed to keep track of but I've also noticed there is also a thinner o-ring inside the clearomizer itself and ineveiteabley it gets disengaged from the clearomizer and ends up in the thing floating around. I fish it out but it's ruined. Is that why it stops working? Is there anyway to test them to see if they are still working before filling them up with juice? Such a waste of money to fill it up, use it for a few minutes and then realize that it's toast. The juice you can salvage isn't much as the wick has soaked up much of it. Easier to just toss it out. So while I love the clearomizers, this habit isn't really saving me money. I tried the tanks but refilling those end up with a big juice mess all over. The initial fill is great but refilling sucks. Tips? My tank broke all over my work desk and I had nothing to replace it that day since the clearomizer wasn't working either. Had to go buy a pack of smokes.
  13. I am wondering if after you clean your clearomizers if you should always dry burn them? Or can I just let them dry overnight? I only have two batteries and It takes a lot of power to sit and dry burn them. If I can skip that that would be the best but if not doing it wrecks them then I'm going to get a pass through battery. I might get one anyway.
  14. I just got the peach from sweet vapes and it's delicious. Also, their clearomizers are a pretty good price.
  15. I'll have to try those. They are the same price.
  16. I accidentally was sent the rebuild able clearomizers instead of the regular ones. I have found that my e liquid tastes way different and not very good in them. Has anyone else experienced this? I did order the replacement wicks and changed it out but it still tastes funny in them. I've also found that you should just stick to one flavor in a cleaomizer even if you clean it because if you don't the liquids taste bad and not like it should. Of course the cinnamon one I had to throw out since cinnamon is way too harsh for me and nothing gets that flavor out.
  17. I love these too. What's the difference between the long and short wicks? I do find that you have to keep them full to get the best taste and vapor out of them. Once they get half full it seems to diminish quickly.
  18. I've noticed that there seems to be a film in my mouth too and it doesn't feel really any different than when I smoked though. Also, I need to find a device that looks like a cigarette but hold juice because people just stare at me when I'm outside waiting for the bus like I'm smoking crack or something if I use my ego and clearomizer.
  19. I would guess it would depend on what they are at fault for? Equipment that doesn't work? Probably not. An injury due to faulty equipment. Possibly depending on the severity of it.
  20. I'm on the bus on the way to work after not smoking for 9 days - YES! 9 days! lol Two guys get on the bus and OMG, they reeked. I didn't realize how awful the smell was on people until I quit. It almost was bad enough to make me ill. It's also in my apartment and furniture. I'm glad I'm moving to a smoke free house in 11 days because I can't stand it anymore. I don't want to become one of "those" people but I might already be one!
