  1. Well I guess if I would have looked down to this post I wouldn't have wasted my time clicking the link...
  2. I thought it was actually serious until it said don't post pics of boobies... Thats just crazy talk....
  3. Okay maybe everyone should quit putting mens faces on womens bodies that show cleavage. I'm starting to become confused to a very disturbing level.. lmao
  4. That one is easy. Monk. What do I win? LOL
  5. What gets me is that this woman tried so hard to quit for 25 years and couldn't, but the first year the patch is on the market, she kicks the habit. I'm pretty sure McDonalds has already been sued for making someone fat. Thats why they cut their portions even smaller than they already were years ago. I could use some extra cash.. Think I'll get some fast food, wreck my truck, then sue for a couple hundred mill because the food was too greasy and caused my hand to slip off the steering wheel. Sadly, someone could probably win that case. Jurors act in favor of these people with the lawsuits because they might want to be next in line. We have too big of an attitude of entitlement in this country. We are entitled to what we work for, nothing more.
  6. Just spring and batting. There is no hole on the other end for it to leak through. For instance, if you are using a 510, if you look at the cart the liquid goes in, and on the sides of the cart are 2 slits, which is where the vaper is drawn through. Your vapor goes around your filling, not through.
  7. If you are looking for a good cart mod, and have a spare clicky pen that doesn't work lying around, try the auto drip mod in the mod section. It's cheap, quick and easy, and works great!
  8. Getting the amount of filling just right is the hardest part, but still easier than most mods out there. Too little filling and you might find yourself with leaks, or it's not quite tight enough to stay in the cart and will stick to the atty. Too much filling, and the juice just won't wick through as easily. I personally use about half the factory poly or so and it seems to work well. I haven't had a problem with the poly sticking to the atty personally, but I also make sure to not twist the cart when pulling it off. As far as putting the spring the other way, it works just as well from what I have read. People are doing this with carts that do not have the little lip inside of it like the 510 does to catch the spring and have reported good results. There are still bound to be a few flaws/problems with this mod, but so far it's one of the easiest and the best that I have found. After all, dripping has it's problems too. Please people, if you are going to drip, get a designated driver and please don't drip and drive!
  9. I think there may be more of these cloned batteries out there than we think. It's not just your batteries Rob. I emailed the other supplier I got these batteries from and they were under the impression that they were authentic Joye, but had to get this batch from another "reputable" supplier because his was out of stock. He said he has experienced this problem first hand as well. I was wondering why there would even be a market for clones since really a battery is a battery is a battery as far as these should be concerned, but I guess the cost savings is either in the switch or the built in protection.
  10. They work properly 99% of the time. It's not like they consistently have this problem. I have one batt that has done it twice in a week, not from you, and one I got in yesterday from you that has done it once. Honestly I have these batts so mixed up right now anyway there is no way I could tell which one came from you or which one had the problem. I'll simply remember to order authentic Joye from here on out, which I'm sure will come from my fellow Okie supplier that doesn't try to pass off SLB batts as Joye batts.
  11. No worries about the batteries Rob. Right now it looks like 5 out of 6 of my batts are clones are only 2 came from you, and I knew what I was getting. Thanks for the offer though. I do appreciate it.
  12. I've had this problem with a couple of batteries. One non Joye batt that I just got from rob today actually, and one supposedly authentic Joye battery that came with my starter kit ordered from somewhere else. Are there any visual differences in these batts? Because my "Joye" batts and non Joye batts look identical. If my first batch of batts are indeed authentic Joye, this problem lies with them also and not just the SLB batteries. Luckily I have only fried one atty because of it
  13. Personally I have lived on various forums for years. I'm a forum junkie. Since I can't keep up with all of them, I tend to hit the ones that hold my interest at that moment pretty hard and heavy, then maybe forget about them for a while when I find something else that interests me. Hate to say it guys, but although I love participating in forums, my time here will probably be fairly short lived. Once I completely settle into vaping to the point that I don't really need any more information to be happy with what I have, I'll move on to something else, maybe back to my diesel truck forums. To everyone here, nice to meet you! I hope we all get to learn from each other and have a great time doing it! To those of you who have never been on forums before, beware, you have now entered a world where all the information you could ever dream for is at your fingertips if you are willing to read and learn.
  14. As long as you don't overfill the cart, there is really no way to suck juice out the inhaling end. The standard poly actually works really well at plugging the juice off, I mean you have to remember that juice is kind of thick, so it's not hard to hold it back. I never have a problem with sucking juice. On a side note, others have said this mod works with carts other than 510 that don't have the little "ledges" inside the cart to hold the spring. They just stand the spring up and put the poly on top of it. It's by far the best thing I have found that doesn't require dripping, which we all know is a pain.
  15. Taking the filler out can be a pain, but you don't have to fill the cart all that often so it's really worth it. I just use a syringe to fill mine. Works great and I don't get juice all over.
  16. Not a problem Sinikal. I know I would personally much rather use carts over dripping if you can get any kind of consistency out of them, and this mod seemed to do it for me. I was growing really frustrated with the carts really quick and dripping was a pain, especially when away from the house, and I tried this mod since it was so quick and easy. Honestly it's probably kept me from getting frustrated and going back to analog sigs. I just thought I'd share what seems to be a very good cart mod with more of the community, and maybe create some more happy vapers in the world.
  17. I don't typically get any juice in my mouth using this mod unless I take a pretty hard pull, which will leave juice in my mouth even if I'm dripping. This mod seems to be pretty popular at other forums, and has converted some drippers. I get quite a while out of one cart, but I hate to put an exact number on it because I tend to rotate between a battery and my passthrough so they don't get too hot taking multiple drags in a short time. Most people have a old click pen running around that doesn't work, and this mod is super easy to try. It's great for convenience when out and about.
  18. I just want to clarify on this. I'm not an expert but from what I have read the green scrubby things have some kinds of chemicals in them and are not good for cart filler. You want like the blue non abrasive scotch brite scrubby pads if you are going to use them.
  19. I'm not a doctor, but it has been noted that depression can be a side effect of quitting smoking. Actually it may be more of a symptom of quitting self medication for depression you already had. Nicotine has been known to help treat depression, and a large number of people suffering from it smoke as self medication, without even realizing it. If I were you, and of course it is your choice, but I would look at trying to up your nicotine if your depression is really bothering you. Of course I would talk to my doctor about it, but studies have shown that nicotine can help in treatment of depression. Some doctors will actually prescribe anti-depressants along with smoking cessation products for this reason. Again, I am NOT a doctor and I have no medical training, I just know I have read about links between nicotine and depression.
  20. Hi Everyone. I just joined this forum after spending some time on another e-cig forum, and I'm curious. It looks to me like not much information gets cross referenced between forums, which I find odd. I could only find one reference here to the Auto Drip Mod/Spring mod. It's meant for the 510 but others say it work in other carts as well. You take a spring, say from a click pen, cut it just short enough to be compressed and hold in the cart, fill your cart to the top of the spring, and add some poly fill or foam or whatever you want to use on top of it. I've been using it a few days and it seems to work really well. When I go to fill my cart it will be completely empty with no juice left in the bottom. Being my first post I'm not even going to try to post a link, because I doubt I can, but if you search auto drip mod on youtube you can see a vid showing how to do it. Anyway, I was curious about the lack of reference to this mod because it's awesome, and thought maybe I could contribute some info on my first post!
