  1. Man I can. If I had three hundred bucks I'd be all over that beautiful fancy one. But I guess I'm lucky; don't have three hundred bucks.
  2. Thanks man! Yeah, I sell them all. I've managed to hold onto this because it's mine. But don't think I haven't almost sold this one too... Because I almost have a couple times. People can be awful persuasive. I don't take orders anymore, that just takes the fun out of making; get tired of making the same old stuff all the time. So I just do what I want now, and people still buy them. It blows me away.
  3. Wow, thanks you guys I didn't expect that!
  4. Man I'm with you on that one! The only way I can afford a custom knife is to make my own! Here's my own knife:
  5. That's what I'm talkin about too Bigjim. People who like their stuff, like their stuff. I don't shoot pool that much but I'd sure like to have one of these beautiful inlaid works of art to vape! Talk about class!
  6. Hm. I've never had this problem, with either premixed liquid, flavoring or with nic. I guess I'm just charmed. Actually, I keep the temp around 73 degrees all the time and keep everything stored out of light, so it's in its best possible environment. I have quite a supply of stuff now though, so we'll see how it goes over the next couple of years...
  7. Well, three weeks to the prototype; I wonder how long until we get to see it? It does sound interesting. We're sure living in cool times, eh? Good catch Brian.
  8. Awesome! Just when I thought I didn't need another device... Sorry I haven't seen you around before but I guess I don't spend much time browsing the forum lately -- wifey too interested in keeping me close by I guess. I'm going to have to work on that! Thanks for the heads up, I'm definitely keeping these in mind.
  9. The DV tiramisu is really good! I bought a lot of it, and almost blown through that already...
  10. I'm psyched! Thanks for the code FTJoe! WooHOO! Dancing bears all around!
  11. I haven't been able to vape any of the tobacco flavors by themselves happily; they all seem to need something to smooth them off for me. I particularly can't vape Mellow Sunset by itself; that was one of the first ones I tried -- because the name said "mellow." I guess this means you have bigger huevos than I do.
  12. Nothing to worry about, just jump on in when you're done mixing premade. You're gonna dig it.
  13. I can vouch for this recipe! It's what I've been vaping for a couple weeks primarily. Between kitsune's tiramisu coffee, Brian's PB Tobacco and my own Cinnamon Sunset, I'm all set for a while. DIY rules! Go Brian Go, thanks for posting this.
  14. Thought I should take my own advice and post a recipe here. C'mon all you DIYers, post those recipes for the rest of us! We can't figure them all out ourselves! This is for flavoring only - mix it with your base to your own strength requirements. If anyone has questions how to do that, you're in the right place and I'll be happy to try to answer any questions too. Cinnamon Sunset Flavoring Makes 3 ml or use pct for your preferred volume - mix with your own nic base Flavour Art Mellow Sunset -- 1.7 ml -- 55% Fairies' Finest (or other) Cinnamon -- 1.4 ml -- 45% That's all there is to it. Mellow Sunset has kind of a bite on its own, and I've been looking for a way to tone it down to something I could vape. This did it perfectly! I was really thrilled how good it is. I've been vaping it almost daily since the first mix.
  15. The truth is, I haven't bought any premixed e-liquid in months; been mixing my own and have a few recipes that I really like. Kitsune's Tiramisu Coffee is great, and Brian's PB/Tobacco mix is outta this world too. My own Cinnamon Sunset is the one I alternate on a daily basis with the other two. If you folks haven't tried DIY, it's highly recommended, particularly for you high voltage gonzos. We need more people to publish their recipes in the DIY section! I've really been into tobacco recipes again lately.
  16. Yeah, it'll get better over time, don't worry about it. Just keep trying lots of flavors and eventually you can begin to DIY your own and bump the flavor percent for more punch. My all-time fave is 555, and I'm just outta luck because I can't find a strong enough 555 flavoring to mix to my own taste. Sigh. Maybe someday eh?
  17. LOL! That's great, I know exactly where you're coming from. My tastes in liquid flavors are very prosaic - tobacco with tweaks, fruits occasionally. I'd never vape "savory" flavors, not in a million years! Blech indeed Jeff! And yeah, I'd love to find a good clove flavor, but even trying to make my own I've found no substitute for clove cigarettes. Sigh. The quest goes on.
  18. I too started with an auto bat device and quickly ditched it. Yeah, it's more like smoking but that is the end of its value. I could never get a decent toot from an auto battery. A manual battery will let you drag as long as you like, and get a good lungful of vapor. But then of course, there's ... 6V like Brian said. Once you've gone HV, you can never go back. I wholeheartedly recommend that you get manual batteries for your device and start getting the most out of it. Or begin to investigate more advanced devices like eGo or the larger battery mods. It's a huge world of choices; you're on the cutting edge and about to discover what vaping can really be. Vape on!
  19. Cool story Lily! I'm sorry that you had trouble with Rath juice, but look what opportunities problems can uncover! I think it's true too that one day you might try a big battery mod and higher voltage. When you do, you'll be amazed that vaping can get even better! But you probably won't find another device as sweet as your eGo.
  20. +1 VOD, truer words were never spoken. The Tornado is the same as an eGo, for those who wondered, just branded for TW. Either is a wonderful device, perfect for daily carry.
  21. I don't have much of anything to add, just like to hear the sound of my own voice. Direct dripping and drip tips are the way to go. I use a delrin (plastic) drip tip that I got from, I believe, NHaler. It's much more comfortable than any metal one I've used. There are many vendors selling them now and they're highly recommended. Some of us even use them on cartomizers, making it easier to top the carto off once in a while. I'm a total fan of drip tips and need to start adding to my collection. The larger diameter the hole, the better -- especially if like me you don't see so well up close. Let me also belatedly welcome you to VT! You found a great place.
  22. Yep, what nana said; Brian's vaping 6V on his SB and presumably the Omega. I'm using Phidius Woodimus and a Saber at 6V. Woody has been the most consistent device I've used yet; I've been using it for nearly six months now with no problems, which I sure didn't expect when I got it.
  23. Actually, my brother's Buzz is about the coolest looking PV I've ever seen - black and brass, and he uses gold band Joyes on it. Beautiful. But it's not an SB or Omega!
