  1. Thanks guys! I really appreciate the info. I'll try working on the center pin and see if I can get it working again.
  2. Thanks for the reply. The center pin is the circular piece just inside the connector??
  3. I've had a Viper from Vaprlife for about 6 months or so and it's been fantastic...until recently. Now in order for it to work, I have to unscrew the carto/atty little by little until the light comes on and then at a certain point (when the atty is loose) it starts vaping. If the carto/atty is screwed in all the way, nothing happens when the button is pushed, the light won't even come on. At first I thought it was the atty I was using, but now I've tried multiple attys/cartos and it does the same thing. With some cartos, I can screw them all the way down and the light will come on when I push the button, but it won't vape... Any ideas??
  4. They leak from the bottom (battery end). They're cartos I purchased from the VT store a while back, silver threads. I guess I must be over filling them.
  5. I've been a dedicated dripper for some time now, but just recently started trying 510 cartos. So far I have mixed feelings. I really like the idea of them, but they seem really leaky. Maybe it's how I'm filling them. Tried the condom method a couple times and didn't like it, so I've just been dripping into the top. But then I lose a bunch of liquid out the bottom. Any tips on avoiding leakage? Also, just something I was thinking about...do the fibers actually burn? If so, that can't be too healthy to be inhaling it...? I'd really like to try the LR cartos. I only have regular ones at the moment and vapor production is definitely lacking compared to the LR attys I've been using.
  6. No kidding! I was thinking of buying the KR808 just for that reason. That PCC just looks awesome, and seems like it would work really well (unlike the normal 510 PCCs!). But I really like 510 attys/cartomizers and didn't want to have to buy all new batteries, carts, chargers, blah blah blah. So, I'm really excited about this purchase I think I'm also going to order a Vypr 510 this morning. Fun, fun!
  7. OMG I'm so stoked, I had to post this! I've been looking for a kr808 style pcc for the 510 for FOREVER and I finally found one. Check it out... Awesome 510 PCC From what I understand, the "Magma" is a 510 so it should work just fine. I just ordered one, if anyone is interested I can be sure to report back with my opinion once I have it in hand. Assuming everything works fine with it, this will be my "mobile" setup (with 2 cartomizers). Now just need to find a good mod to use at home...
  8. I would definitely recommend Dulcis from the VT store. AWESOME stuff, probably my favorite so far. Full and sweet, but not too sweet. If you like menthol, their Mentha liquid is fantastic too. You might wanna check out some of the sampler packs around too. Johnson's Creek has several, good prices on 'em too.
  9. I've read that a lot of the "5V" passthroughs actually run right around 4.5-4.7v. But I haven't heard of a battery operated PV that does, aside from the devices like the Buzz.
  10. The one I've been using is from Puresmoker. One of the most simple/inexpensive things you can get, but makes all the difference in the world. I love it. Btw, mine's a black "delrin" one too. Much more comfortable than the metal ones, and pretty much unaffected by heat from the atomizer.
  11. A little pricey, but the Fist Pack does indeed look awesome. Have to make sure you let us know what it's like
  12. Yeah, actually the device I just ordered is a 3.7v box mod that uses a 14500 (ordered from madvapes). Can't wait to try it. I'll probably order an inexpensive 5v passthrough so I can experiment a bit with the higher voltage. Generally speaking, will a low res atty on a 3.7v device burn out faster than a regular atty on a 5v?
  13. So I've been vaping for a little while now. Started out with a 901, thought it was pretty good. But didn't REALLY get into it until I got my first 510 kit. For the past few months I've been very content with that. But recently decided to see what else is out there. I've looked at a TON of different devices, mods, attys, etc and was wondering... What's the advantage of having a high voltage device (5v, 6v, whatever) when you can just have a 3.7 device with a low res atomizer? Don't they work out to about the same output? I just ordered a new 3.7 device so I can try out the low res attys. But I still kinda want to try a 5v passthrough. Not sure I want to have to keep a bunch of different attys around though. What you guys think?
  14. I just recently put in an order with Madvapes (a box mod, some LR attys, etc). I think they'll be one of my main sites from now on. They've got awesome prices, and I've heard nothing but good things about the products and service they provide. I'll probably put another order in soon, when they get more of their 510 5V passthroughs
  15. I've bought liquid from them a couple times. I actually like the menthol and red bull flavors pretty well. The "USA Tobacco" was not so great, and the Cinnamon was just about the worst tasting thing ever. The problem is the shipping takes forever, and it's expensive. So you're really better off ordering from someone in the states, in my opinion. You can still find some great deals. I was just looking at madvapes.com yesterday; they've got some really low prices on liquid. I'm gonna have to try some
