  1. I'm not complaining on a forum. I'm trying to find out the collective thoughts on the subject. I do not live in NY and I could care less the laws that are passed there. I know the tax revenue is the biggest financial hit in dealing with ecigs. I just ponder when did public safety and health fall behind the potential of lost revenue?

  3. if an admin could remove one of these threads apparently ive managed to post it twice.
  4. I'm sitting here at work checking my phone and my facebook page is covered with protests concerning the possible vaping ban in NY. I know this is a very passionate group that we belong to as vapers and I just want to know when enough is enough? Will this ban pass? Which states will follow suit if it does? What will that mean for average joe vaper? What are the community thoughts on this? Just thought I would rattle the cage with the topic tonight. Happy Vaping -mse12

  6. Hey the "lt" is just lavatube abbreviated. Or in my case a lavatube clone. They can be picked up on a ton of websites. I personally own the torpedo by totally wicked. It is just a lavatube with a different name slapped on it. Its the budget minded provari imo. Happy Vaping -mse12
  7. Lately I've been on my LT and phoenix bottom coil clearos. Very pleased in general with the phoenix. Very minimal leakage if any and wonderful flavor and vapor! Absolutely in love with the battery life out of my LT which is running on 2250mah batteries. I average about roughly 4 days and/or about 7ml of juice on a single charge. Happy Vaping -mse12
  8. I retract my previous statement in regards to the ce3 style clearo. I had a rough time with my first one but these have been my only delivery system for the last week or so. Absolutely fantastic. I'm using the gotvapes phoenix and these things are bullet proof for the most part! I'm vaping one with pink spot in it that has been filled at least 10 times! I would HIGHLY recommend these to anyone that hasn't tried them. Happy Vaping -mse12
  9. Welcome aboard. Keep it up and the lady friend should get off of the analogs in no time. Happy Vaping -mse12
  10. Neither work for me. I know from experience that dual coils drain your battery quicker than a single coil. Both work well....when they work. Happy Vaping -mse12
  11. I've purchased 4 of these vision clearo's. 2 from one vendor 2 from a different vendor. The first 2 had the original short wick, while the 2nd two have the medium length wicks. Out of the four total two leak miserably via the battery connection, one works well, and one has not even been opened. These will not be a daily user for me. I do like the looks and in theory they should work just fine. I don't like the fact that you are unable to take them apart to work with them. The two that leak maybe just something simply out of line. They both fire and vape well but you can't use for more than a couple minutes before you get gurgle and fluid in the battery connection. These don't stand a chance compared to my ce3 style clearo's. Not so much a review, just my limited experience. Happy Vaping -mse12
  12. I was using a stardust from gotvapes for about a week give or take. Not daily but filled roughly 5 times. I carry my vape stuff in a ziploc while I'm at work. I opened my bag two days ago to find that the stardust emptied it's entire tank...not happy. This was working so well. I agree with blu that the draw is almost too stiff. This has been the case since day one. Any insight? Happy Vaping -mse12
  13. Glad you got one. They are great! I love mine and will definitely be ordering more. Probably about 5 to keep on hand. I'm kinda upset with my ego visions lately. They started out working so well. I had no leaks at all and then out of nowhere I had one empty the entire tank through the bottom at the connection. Still not sure what's up with that yet but such is vaping. I hope you enjoy your 901. Happy Vaping -mse12
  14. Welcome, it's only been a couple weeks but give it time and you won't even want to think about smoking an analog! Enjoy you new adventure. Happy Vaping -mse12
  15. I bet there is some TSA idiot trolling this forum enjoying YOUR ego kit...just saying. I guess when you go next time have your gear with you. At least you can get a face to face answer or reason. Happy Vaping -mse12
  16. I ordered the phoenix from gotvapes. The first one I tried was bad. I had to hit it probably 20 times to get the first vapor out of it and then it leaked from the top. I didn't go back to them for a few days and since then I've tried two more out of the pack. They ROCK! I don't know if they are all made this way but the filling holes in the pack I recieved do not go all the way through the silicon cap at the top. This leaves it to the user to puncture the rest of the way through the cap. The first one that I mentioned leaked horribly from this hole once filled but these other two have not. I know from videos regarding some other ce3 style cartos they come with little plugs to keep them from leaking. The phoenix does not have this plug. On the last one I filled I actually punched through the cap with a small sewing needle thinking that the smaller hole would lessen the chance of leaking and I have had none so far, knock on wood. I would recommend the phoenix but then again I would recommend the fluxomizers as well. I purchased the higher ohm option from gotvapes on the fluxomizers and I enjoy them as well. They have worked well so far although I've only opened two from the pack. I'm currently vaping the flux with an ego passthrough and it works well. Good luck, perhaps you recieved a bad lot from gotvapes with your order. Happy Vaping -mse12 Btw you have no option but to fill the phoenix with a syringe. That's the only way you can.
  17. It gets a lot easier as you stick with it. In the first couple weeks I was vaping about 3-4ml a day. I'm down to about 2ml after only a couple months. You will find what works just keep trying different setups or combinations with the battery you have. I know in my experience a LR 901 atty by far produces the most vapor i've seen. At 1.7ohm on my ego battery it about made me gag the first hit because I wasn't ready for it. Just a little info for you. Happy Vaping -mse12
  18. You can get into an ego battery and dual coil carto for way under $60...just saying. I've seen 650mah batteries as low as $9 on sale. The dual coil cartos are cheap too. Happy Vaping -mse12
  19. Not to take away from the topic at hand but I find it funny that so many people are concerned with the safety of ecigs. This is from both the vaping community as well as the public's view. This is my take on safety and the ecig. The bulk of electronic cigs run on lithium ion batteries. A smaller percentage run on nimh batteries. Almost all cell phones run on lithium ion batteries. I'd venture to say 90% of the population use a cell phone at least once a day. Most people use them all day everyday. I personally think that if these batteries are as dangerous as most think there would millions of accidents each day. Now, on another note. Everyone is focused on the safety of the ecig and forget where we all come from. We all came from smoking traditional tobacco smokes. These things burn down homes daily. These kill hundreds of thousands of people. I've personally have heard of one "accident" in reference to an ecig. The guy in FL who made national headlines yet could not provide the type or brand of said ecig. Sounds a little shady to me, but who asked. I think we should still use common sense when dealing with these but I don't think they are dangerous. I think driving around in my vehicle which has a 16 gallon tank of gasoline is FAR more dangerous than vaping. This is just a short OPINION of safety regarding ecigs. I don't have any background in electronics other than having used them for years. I'm not an expert in any way shape or form. This is simply my outlook on the topic. And now, with that off my chest, I've got to get back to vaping! Happy Vaping -mse12
  20. That's what i've heard. I need to try them out. Which vendors are carrying the v2s?
  21. I think you will be happy with the ego vision style. I've got 3 of them and will be ordering more in the coming weeks. I hope you find what you're looking for! Happy Vaping -mse12
  22. Well you can definitely use them with the ego-c battery. It has a standard 510 thread which will work with almost everything out there. I also have an ego-c and have found that when they work, they work well. Although, it has been my experience that the atomizers are so inconsistent that it may or may not work with any given atty. The quality control with the "c" atomizers are minimal if present at all. I've had brand new attys in which the wick isn't even long enough to get close to the coil and I've had some out of the same blister pack that would be wadded up on the coil so as you can see there is no specs that these are being made to. That has been the sole reason for me to leave this setup as a last ditch backup. Now, to the clearomizers. I have used the ego vision (stardust) clearos and they have performed excellent in all regards. They are a top coil mini tank style clearo. Some don't like them but if you've read or watched any reviews on any product related to vaping NOBODY agrees on anything. What it boils down to is you buying it and trying it out. What works great for me may not work at all for you and vice versa. I have also used the ce2 fluxomizers and have had good results. They are a more traditional 510 clearo, they hold almost the same amount of juice as the ego vision but are taller and more skinny in diameter. I have also used a ce3 "smokymizer" and did not have great results. While I did not have good results I know of many reviewers who have had great results with this style of clearo. I think the clearomizers will give you a more consistent vape if nothing else. I got sick and tired of never knowing if the "c" was going to work or not when I changed the atty. That is what drove my desire to try the other delivery systems out. Hopefully this helps, maybe it won't. I am vaping a SR fluxomizer on my LT as we speak so just letting you know I'm actually using what I'm talking about. My wife is currently vaping a SR ego vision on an ego passthrough. We both started with the "c" and it's packed away in the vaping box right now. Good luck with your clearos if you choose to give them a try! Happy Vaping -mse12 p.s. no leaking at all with the vision or fluxomizer, at least not for me.
  23. As far as the 306 atty I only have experience with the bridgeless dripping atty from smartvapes.com. They work well. I've used a cannon drip tip with them from cherry vape which was very nice. I actually am awaiting the arrival of a replacement drip tip as mine cracked but it is being replaced at no charge! I also have an xl derlin drip tip from empiremods that i do not like. As far as the drip shields go you will have to have an xl drip tip. I never have enough leaking to worry about the drip shield. As far as the 510-510 extension i would definitely purchase that from whatever vendor you purchase the atty from. I got one from empiremods and it does not work with the smartvapes atty. I guess the posts on the smartvapes atty are too short. The extension does work just not with them. Now, with the 901 atty...empiremods has a lr 901 bridgeless that is AMAZING!! I think it's 1.7ohm and it produces the most vapor of anything I have ever used! Also looks great with a drip shield from them! Now to the ego vision, I have some from gotvapes....WIN! I would recommend all of these items to anyone as they have worked well for me! I have zero knowledge of small stick batteries so no help there. Good luck with the order. Happy Vaping -mse12
  24. The ego is a decent little battery. I like the size, it is perfect for a shirt pocket. I can put it in there and the most anyone can see is the top but hardly any of it. Whereas my LT sticks up and you can see the entire atomizer or whatever I have connected at the time. Actually the LT is just too big period for a shirt pocket, lol. You should enjoy the ego. Did you get the "c" battery with the 5 clicks on/off? Hopefully so, that is ultra handy for pockets. Happy Vaping -mse12
  25. @bass and troopx I have had no luck with smoktech's either. I'm a new vaper and my only experience in carto's are dual coils from totally wicked and 1.7 ohm smoktech single coils...i bought 20 smoktechs after hearing the praise everyone gave them and the first 5 i tried were all garbage...i've given up on traditional cartos all together. Good luck though, i hope you figure it out because i never could. I know this has been zero help at all but thought I would chime in. Happy Vaping -mse12
