  1. Wow, there is suddenly a large influx of angry girlfriends/wifes. Just the other days there was 2 videos of angry girlfriends breaking LCD and PlayStation 3's... Almost makes me glad that I'm still single... almost.
  2. Glad to hear the site is getting more exposure and a lot more visitors. It certainly helped ex-smokers find they're alternatives.
  3. I'm aware of a few vendors located in New York, can't think of any from the top of my head, but you may try to set up a pick up or something, just have to pay for tax instead of shipping.
  4. Ordered several things from Woot, awesome stuff, good prices and 5 dollar shipping. Thing is, I must stress this, with they're shipping - it's not USPS priority nor UPS, it's like they're own packaged slapped with a stamp/sticker (for smaller items, I understand larger ones have much better shipping). It took almost 2 weeks for an item (3 micro SD cards) to be sent to me. It happens periodically but most of the time, shipping arrivals around 3 days to a week.
  5. Voted for yours since I liked your design better, I'm a minimalist. I didn't vote simply cause you have a youtube channel and provide awesome reviews. I'm unbiased liked that.
  6. Hm, I'm pretty much the same, I smoked from 12 cigarettes to a pack a day. But when I picked up vaping, I actually vaped less! When I first started I was making such a mess and going through juices like crazy. But now, I hardly get "juiced" and I seem to vape every couple of hours, or even don't vape for the whole day.
  7. BirdDog, thanks for sharing your story. I'm glad to hear no one was seriously hurt! It must be traumatizing for you, especially when you try and get back on the driver side. When I had my accident, I couldn't face driving afterward, it took me a good 3 months to feel comfortable again, even then, I've become even more cautious when I drive. Enjoy that beer and cigarette!
  8. Ok, Seriously... Wow, no wordss can explain what I want to actually say...
  9. WOW, OK, I just choked on vapor watching this, took a big drag when he said, "I got sh*t in my hair..."
  10. The Spade is native 510 threading, so the answer is yes.
  11. Haha, hey dude. Yeah, I remember you saying you had a budget of 100 to spend on a kit and couldn't get a VP1 or VP2. The main reason many people move into a larger battery mod is due to battery life. Here's a cut & paste from the vapor talk store comparing the Spade to a 510 battery and a Mega battery. A normal 510 battery runs at 180mah A Mega battery runs at 280 mah The Spade runs at 360 mah. Thats 100 more milliamp per hour than the mega battery! I suppose you could say this model is a has a mega mega battery. This is from Vaprlife's hints & tricks which you can find here: http://www.vaprlife.com/hintsandtricks.html. It's for the VP1 and VP2, I believe the Spade is a VP1 with a 510 adapter head and aluminum casing with a few perks? Not sure... VP1 with button on will last ( 60 min x .26) = 15.6 minutes or 936 seconds VP2 with button on will last ( 60 min x .64) = 38.4 minutes or 2304 seconds Of course you only press the button when you want a hit, right. If a hit is equal to 5 seconds to keep it simple. VP1 (360mah) will give (936 sec/ 5 sec hits) = 187 hits, before changing battery VP2 (900mah) will give (2304 sec/ 5 sec hits) = 460 hits, before changing battery A standard pen style e cig with 180 mah gives 180/1400 = 0.128 x 60 min = 7.68 min or 460 sec or 92 hits. Now this is equates to if you hold the button down consistently. When you vape you only hold it down for a max of 5-8 seconds so if you think about it. That's a hell of a long time before you switch batteries.
  12. That's exactly what I've been doing, I was so itching to buy the VP-PT, but wanted to get some of those LB, then saw a post saying it was sold out!!!
  13. Well, I figured e-cig is bad considering juices do contain nicotine. But is it bad as cigarettes is the real question.
  14. I've only 'drip and drive' once and I must say it was such a hassle trying to drip while focusing on the road. I agree with Nana, that I don't think it to be illegal, it's more of common sense not to drip and drive. Now dripping at a Red light, I'm okay with.
  15. Wow! that's a great price too. I might actually buy a few kits for Christmas presents now! Not bad.
  16. @keenan - My current way of living is the computer, imagine my face when my computer never booted up! It was like a piece of myself died that day! @Chrisahx - Oh man, I used to take Wellbutrin a couple years ago, gave me the same effect as you after a few days of stopping Wellbutrin, I pretty much was agitated with everything, even snapping at people who gave me a slight attitude. Hope things goes well for you, everyone deserves that sense of calm in they're life.
  17. Hey Keenan, thanks for the offer, but I'm already using an old 19in LCD, the one that died was a 23" widecreen that I paid way too much for. I guess I've been spoiled by how huge it was. But I appreciate the offer!
  18. Hey all, seems like everywhere I turn someone is having a bad day. Someone passing, unexpected computer problems, more bad news about the FDA and e-cigs and just the general "ARGH!" type of days lately... Has the stars aligned or something causing all the bad vibes! For me, my computer died, had to spend $500 to get parts. Now my monitor died, that's another $200+ to replace. Not to mention 2 of my 901 batteries going kaput! Not to mention it's the holidays so a lot of spending (Black Friday & Christmas). For now, I'm bumming off my brother's 901 battery and using an old LCD to surf the net. I don't want say, "It could be worst." cause in all truth it might! Knock on wood and all that superstitious stuff! Hope things work out soon, want to bring in the good vibes for the upcoming holiday and the new year! It's almost 2010 in a couple days! So lets hope for a more promising, prosperous and hopeful 2010!
  19. You and your friend have my condolences, TheGreen. My prayers go out to your friend and his family.
  20. Man.... this seriously irritates me, seriously, they allow cigarettes onto the market yet they're gonna demonized e-cigs as even more dangerous???
  21. In California, last I remembered Marlboro was $4.25, with the tax it came out to $5.25. Newports, the brand I smoked regularly, was $7.60, with tax was well over 8 dollars. I ended up buying those Camel Lights 2-packs for $6.20. I bought cartons of Newports from a cigerettte shoppe, used to cost me $42.00 a carton, and at least bought 2 cartons a month. The last time I bought a carton it cost me $58 dollars. So per month I was spending well over 100 dollars to maintain the smoking habit. Geez, wish I found vaping sooner, probably earlier this year. Would've have saved alot more money that I sure can use right now... gone are the days when Cigerettes used to cost $2.50.
  22. Dude! Keenan, I feel your pain. Vent (and Vape) all you want, man. YESTERDAY was my HORRIBLE day. Just in a span of 4 hours. Won't get into further details, but man, headaches left and right. Nothing going your way. Feels hopeless. I'm right there with you Keenan, hope things lighten up soon!
  23. I noticed drinking carbonated or bubbly drinks makes vaping uncomfortable, so I make sure I have water handy. Also, I take slower draws to make sure I'm careful not to suck the juice up. I've haven't gotten 'juiced' in a while now. I...almost miss it.
