  1. I do really want to start working on dedicating a space to DIYing and start mixing my own juices, being its so hard to find something that I really really enjoy.
  2. For some reason the few 555's I have tried are so bland and basey that I cant get past a few taste tests before the bottle gets pushed aside forever or given away. I really enjoy my tobacco blends, usually the more sweet ones (RY4 and bobas) I have ordered over 60 bottles of juice and probably only finished 4 or 5 flavors. Currently I rotate between AVEjuice's Bobas Bounty and Flue Cured Tobacco, I really like Halo Tribeca (sweet RY4 tobacco), Nom Nom Joose has a Butterscotch and Breakfast tobacco which are both amazing (his raspberry mojito is surprisingly pleasent for a fruity drink vape) Vermillion River also has some really good woody, mapely tobacco blends that really leave me wanting more. There are so many good choices I usually vape at least two different juices per day one more tobacco tasting one and one with some sweet flavors in it.
  3. Halo cigs G6 kit is by far my favorite cig style battery that I have found to date. (V4L is really good I hear too) Also their cartos are really easy to fill the mouthpiece it comes with sticks out just enough to grab and pull out instead of having to dig it out with an instrument.
  4. I agree strongly. But I was 14 when I started smoking so its not unlikely that a 17 year old would be smoking regularly. However it is harder to obtain quality vaping devices if you are a minor being you need a credit card and such. Its more than likely he would not be able to purchase anything until he has a debit or creditcard to use, but it also does not really verify age that I am aware of on most sites except for asking you to click yes if you are aware that it is for people 18 years or older so I feel a 15 year old with a card could really order whatever he wanted, probably even higher mg liquid (someone correct me if I am wrong).
  5. I actually really enjoy Boba's, it took me about 2 months to get my hands on some but I love it and will be ordering probably a 100 mL bottle or atleast a 30 mil of it and the flue cured. I also have reordered from Halo quite a lot as well as V2, I love halo Tribeca it was the first vape I found that I could use all day.
  6. There are so many juice vendors out there its amazing, I have only tried a very select few as of yet. I really enjoy Alien Visions Ejuice more specifically Bobas Bounty, and Flue Cured. Their Gamel (Which is turkish) is really good as well and my third favorite from them. I also regularly vape Halo, Nom Nom Juice, Totally Wicked, Good E Juice, Eminent Vapors, and theres a few others. I really like RY4's and variations of it. I really like and tend to vape tobacco flavors, I also really enjoy V2's Cowboy and Sahara (also a camel mimic) they are really simple and where I started so I guess I just enjoy the tastes. There are too many to try even try to spread the wealth as far as possible getting as many different samples as possible to see what you really do enjoy, there are so many juices that I love and a lot I have found that I absolutely will not and can not vape but happy hunting! It is a long quest hahaha but a fun one.
  7. I as well have been happily vaping Boba's Bounty (as well as some other AVE juices) in my Boge cartos with no problems, 100% VG and it gives me an awesome flavor, throat hit and amazing vapor. The cartos that I fill strictly with BB have lasted maybe a day or two shorter than any other carto with any other PG/VG mix I have, to each their own. I just have not experienced a problem with any juice and a regular carto. I have switched from a DCT/DCC lover to 3 ohm Boges on my LT at 5 volts, and could not be happier! (unless of course I had a provari.) :P
  8. I loved tanks when I started using them, and after about 2 or 3 days each they start to flood and not work, as well as leak severely so I started using Boge cartos and love them. I want to get a J-tank and try punching my own cartos, hopefully that will help, I think the triple prepunched smoktech tanks I have just allow too much juice to flow into the carto. But a carto will last me about an hour or so until it needs to be topped off, the taste and vapor is great and its more convenient than dripping all the time.
  9. I find that it happens to me quite often, not ample amounts just a little drop in the center of the connection here and there. When I use my smoktech tanks on the other hand after the first few fills they tend to leak horribly and are un-usable, I want to get a J-tank or something that I can use Boge cartos with and punch them myself as well. I have also read a lot of people have no problems with the triple punched cartos but I think its just too much juice flow, IDK. Still trying to find a tank setup that will produce how I want it to, however not much tastes better and gives the throat hit and vapor than a freshly filled DCT does. I have a lot of devices left to try but for now I am happy with my Lavatube and Boge cartos haha. Varibox is also pretty cool for thirty bucks. Superb battery life, 3 voltage settings and its small and light. Ivape is also coming out with a cheap VV tube mod or has already released it. Kind of stopped device shopping since I got this LT running so good haha. **EDIT** With the eGo-C attys I have had some juice get on the atty base I believe but it has never made it down to the battery with the eGo-C setup.
  10. http://www.carolinavapes.com/eGo-Passthrough-Cartomizer-Kit_p_104.html Something like that is a good option to try out the ego battery, it comes with an eGo cone but no eGo atomizers I believe, but you could pick one up for around ten bucks. I bought the eGo-C kit and loved it when I got it but slowly started to enjoy bigger and better things, an eGo with a LR atty just does not give me the throat hit and pleasure of vaping a NR atty at 5 volts, but everyone prefers something different. That being said the eGo battery is amazing, really good quality, it looks clean and sleek, they come in many different sizes which is also cool imo. I do not use the eGo-C atty setup, I still have 3 sitting in the original blister pack from a few months ago, to me they mute the flavor or strong juices, some subtle juices taste alright in the atty but I prefer a LR 510 on an ego battery than the actual ego c setup. Just my two cents.
  11. I for some reason carry more flavors than I use on any given day, I usually carry 3 bottles with me (always a variation of RY4, a more plain tobacco, and something sweet or fruity) lately I have stuck with Alien Vision Juices (Bobas one day, Flue cured the next.) IDK what it is about them but I seem to have gravitated to their juices even though all the VG has been taking its toll on my cartos but its worth it haha. I try to limit it to two flavors a day, one tobacco and one thats a bit more sweet. I have only tried a select number of juice vendors out there and am slowly working my way through the rest of the field. But I tend to stick to a small number of juices a day and switch it out every few days or so.
  12. I agree with just about everyone here I love vaping just about all day, every day. I usually do have my PV attached to me all day but I do always love those first few puffs in the morning.
  13. For the sake of argument and being hypothetical lets say its a AmEx or Visa Giftcard worth fifty bucks so you can spend it online without having to deposit it. Where would you spend it? (ecigs or not) more specifically what would you buy if it happened today and you got to come home from work with fifty dollars to spend?
  14. It is fine, I'd rather you have done that and made a new vaper happy than traded with me anyway. I just ordered a sampler from Vermillion River so I will have them to keep me busy for a while haha. I am really looking for tobacco flavors ATM, I have yet to expand to really sweet flavors like bakery or drink flavored juices and candy, but I am trying to find a few staple tobacco flavors right now to add to my ever expanding list of juices I have tried. I do also like citrus flavors sort of for every now and then, I have a raspberry lemonade that I really enjoy. But Thank you!
  15. What juices are you looking to possibly get rid of blu?
  16. Yes, the Saber Touch is an awesome mod that is reasonably priced and very easy and comfortable to use!
  17. I agree with this, finally getting some SR carts and getting the full effect of the LavaTubes VV I would much rather rock a 3 ohm cart at 5 volts than a 1.7 on my eGo (even though I only use LR on my eGo now). I really prefer the SR on a higher voltage to LR at 3.7 and the TH and vapor warmth is noticeably better with the SR than a LR on 3.7. Also I really do enjoy being able to "taste test" with variable voltage to see how your juice tastes the best because there is most definitely a difference with juices at different voltages. Also the lava tube has a rather large and loud activation button that is easy to press. The power button and the + and - buttons are on the other hand really small and located rather close together which might bother you. If your arthritis really comes into play when fiddling with devices there are a few mods that you can find that will suit you even though like you said some of them will cause you more harm than good possibly with a lot of clicks and hard to press buttons.
  18. Provari is always an option, that does not have a proprietary battery (different options actually). It does just about everything the Darwin does but works on voltage readings rather than watts. I was partial to the Darwins until I had a discussion with someone the other night and got swayed towards the Provari. You can get a Provari kit with 2 batteries and a charger for less than a Darwin and then you can always have an extra batt ready, rather than having to buy 2 Darwins to always have a charge. Just a few things to think about, but like Bob said there are plenty of mid ranged items that are vv like the lavatube. I as well started with an 808 kit, quickly stepped up to an eGo, then I won a Lavatube as well as another VV device and just like with all hobbies you will eventually want the top of the line and I believe if its in your budget to do so you're better off getting what you will eventually want as soon as possible. I already want to get a Provari after 2 months of vaping and a few devices already. Stepping up to a Darwin or Provari sooner than later will save you money in the long run if you intend to stick with vaping rather than buying 500 dollars worth of mods that will sit around once you quickly decide you want the Provari. Just my two cents.
  19. mjradik once you get inventory together PM me I have a lot of juices that I would be up to swap with you if youd be interested in any of them.
  20. I have a bunch of juices that I have tried and simply do not like ranging in sizes, tastes and strengths, a lot of them are fruit or berry or sweet flavors that I simply just do not like a few tobaccos as well that just don't do it for me. If anyone is looking for a type of juice they are looking to try post or pm me, not much hardware to trade or pass along but I am up for trades and possibly passing along some juices that someone else might enjoy that I simply do not. I am looking for some tobacco juices if any
  21. I use smoktech tanks (or atleast thats what I think they are not branded and picked them up at a local shop but they resemble them the most so I'm assuming thats what they are.) They are punched three times at the bottom of the carto and have the metal flanges, I got one of the smaller 3.5 ml I believe and a 6ml I think. They work amazing, been using the same cartos for about 2 weeks now, they give off amazing taste, great vapor and throat hit and I have fell in love with tank systems. I have heard a lot of good about the J tank and that is probably the next one I will pick up. I do want to try some CE2s though. Smoktech DCT: http://www.smoktech....x?GoodsID=10123 J Tank: http://www.electroni...-TANK-p511.html
  22. Thank you! I do love my tanks, but doubt this thing will ever see one of them. I have also read that it is not sealed, but I always check my connections for juice throughout the day and wipe them down a few times a day as well even on my ego and lavatube. I dont have any adaptors so I will be sure to add a few of them to a cart. Anybody know some of the more versatile sites for mods out there, (Where you can pick up just about anything) I am having a hard time finding somewhere that carries the right size batteries as well as some good cartos and maybe even some decent juice? (to save on shipping)
  23. I picked up an IMR battery from Totally Wicked for their Lavatube clone, havnt had the balls to take their shrink wrap off just yet but heard its just an AW rewrapped, their wrapping claims 2200 mah but also doubted (thats besides the point.) I have picked up an assembled voltage indicator with two 510 connections on them which is very handy for this device, and the voltage from the battery is rather spot on, maybe off a .1 or .2 (on 6 volts its giving me 6.2 and on 5.8 it gives me 6 volts with no load attached) Unfortunately I founded the amazingness of LR and 3.7 when I had my eGo so I have no regular resitance attys being I went on a LR binge. SO I have a few boge RR cartos on the way, I did just also win a Varibox so if anyone has any tips or tricks or recommendations for that product it would also be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
  24. Hello everyone, I just won a Varibox on VapeTeam Live! I have the 18350's sitting in a cart waiting to add some more goodies. Any recommendations that would go really well with this mod that any of you know about would be greatly appreciated! Also I read this: "NOTE: The top view presents a recessed 510 connector. If you are wanting to use the VariBox with a carto tank, you would need an extender. DO NOT mistake this recessed area as a drip cup or drip well -juice does not go here." When he says extender does he mean a 510 to 510 adaptor, or do they make actual 'extenders' for situations like these? I really plan on sticking some cartos on here, but if an atty will work in this, why would a carto with a drip tip not? Any other tips, tricks or advice that can be passed on is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!
  25. My friend actually just bought an eGo-T and trying that even though its a typeA it does produce a better taste then the eGo-C attys that I have, I do like the eGo-C for the convenience of just being able to change the atty head, just wish they came out with a type B for it already so hopefully it will bring out the taste more.
