  1. good post. i won't be bothering with any of that stuff however. none of them replaces the th you can get from nicotine, they can "mimic" it, but not replace it. i've finally dropped down from 24mg to 16-18mg to 12mg, i'll try to drop down to 6mg in a few months, but i don't think i'll go lower than that. i want to retain some th and i'm ok with taking in such a small amount of nicotine. i'm sure the caffeine i get from the half a pot of coffee i drink every morning does my body more harm than the 12mg of nicotine i'll be consuming daily.
  2. from the way i understand it kGo= 4.2v off the charger, unregulated batt, works down throughout the charge to about 3.7v or so, don't believe it drops below though. 1100mah eGo=regulated batt at 3.2-3.4v (can't remember which either way pretty anemic) 650-1300mah depending on batt choice riva=regulated batt at 3.7v. don't know what battery mah is, i would assume about the same range as the eGo i suggest the kGo because for an unregulated batt is stays fairly consistent instead of dropping in voltage like a rock compared to some unregulated batts. 4.2v can provide an awesome hit with a lr atty/carto. i wouldn't even bother with an actual eGo due to the pretty pathetic voltage. sure you can fix this with lr atty's/carto's but it's not even comparable to a unit like kGo with lr stuff. the Riva would be a good unit too though due to the regulation of the battery to make sure you're getting a super consistent hit.
  3. I just think that 36mg is too much. You could get him some to try, but that's borderline dangerous when chainvaped imho. the kgo is 510 threading yes. remember taste is subjective so best thing for a newbie is to try alot to find out what they personally like. Get sample sizes.
  4. no problem at all
  5. 75/25 555 menthol 24mg. 2 battery kgo kit with 2.0ohm boge carto's. super easy to use, reliable, and consistant.
  6. i'm sure that bob knows way more about this than i and hopefully he can clear up the exact reasons that they differ but to me it just looks like the grand will hold a 6ml bottle instead of a 3ml like the mini, also the grand can accept different batteries making it 5v or 3.7v capable. the mini is only a 3.7v device (from what i could gather). for me i would just go with the mini because i don't like big clunky pv's. i rarely use my 5v passthru as is, i'm just honestly good with 3.7v, but that's just me. on the other hand having the ability to switch it between 3.7v and 5v would be nice, so.......it's all up to you
  7. if your'e deadset on a boxmod i'd definitely go with the mini Reo then too many good reviews not too, plus it's an awesome looking pv.
  8. you have a 510 mini though right? like i said earlier the biggest "slim" 510 batt is only 280mah. the 102mm gen2 808's are 420mah. that's enough to keep most people (that aren't complete chainvapers anyway lol) going at least half a day if not more.
  9. you and i were talking about carto's for a little while. your'e going to want to stick with the horizontal coil. the 2nd gen batt's like the volt, like those more than vertical coil carto's. much better vapor production. smokelessimage carto's get probly the best reviews followed by bloogs and http://elitevaporworks.com/signature-series-blank-cartomizers.html glad your'e liking the Volt
  10. yup, liquid and carto's or somethin. that's what i'd spend it on. last device i'll buy for a long time will be the LEO Pro when it comes out. but that's cuz i'm a somewhat of a LEO fan lol, and it's only a 1/3rd of the price of a Reo.
  11. i for one think you should bank it brother. mod collecting seems a little silly to me. it'll just end up sitting on a shelf anyway. you already have a variable voltage device, and some very reliable little 3.7v fog machines. what's the purpose of getting another mod?
  12. http://www.vapingzone.com/Leo_Tank_Twin_Coil_Clearomizer/pid-214.html http://www.vapingzone.com/Dual_Coil_510_Tank_Cartomizer_-_3ml/pid-423.html i'll be ordering that stuff on friday, excited to try the carto/tank system, as well as the LEO clearo this week i should be receiving a 5 pack of lr carto's for my 808's, and a lr510 atty. lots of firsts goin on for me! lol, only thing that i have used before out of all that stuff is the lr808 carto's then next week i'll be ordering some more juice from TVR, it's like once a week i get presents to open up! lol
  13. awesome, thanks man!
  14. i'm using a 75/25 pg/vg mix. so pretty light, you think that'll be alright? about how long can i expect one to last? i vape maybe 2-2.5ml's a day max. my regular carto's can last a few weeks easy since i typically have a few going with different flavors. if i could get 2 weeks out of one of these only using it maybe 30% of the time i'd be completely satisfied. how's v/t/f with these? it seems like clearo's almost always lack th and i'm simply not willing to part with th. it's the reason my leo tank system doesn't get used as much as the carto's do. i've got a syringe so no problems there. i don't like having to use the syringe, but the clearo will probly only always stay at home so i guess it's not that big of an issue. ever throw one on a voltmeter? any idea what the ohm's are?
  15. ever tried these? http://www.whitestagvapor.com/leo-ce-dual-coil-1-5-ohm-clearomizer/ I love the regular carto's and the lr ones r.......meh lol, not worth the money imo, but I've yet to try these and would like to give it a go. Whatdya think?
  16. i'll have a new drip tip, some lr carto's and a lr510 atty by friday or saturday got some juice in the other day.
  17. pm mega about those, he's in love with them. there's some modding that needs to be done to ensure that they don't leak and wick properly, which is why i don't use them. but he loves em.
  18. wow, that came out good, a little bit big for that battery, pretty cool though.
  19. i would guess either kr808 or 901 then.
  20. ^^^agreed. give yourself a little variety so you can find out what works good for you. none of that stuff is terribly expensive so experiment away.
  21. yeah but only black and white rubber ones, plus they're ridiculously expensive. they're close to 3x the price of madvapes for their ribbon patter acrylic ones. oh well. i think i found what i'm looking for at litecigusa.net, it's an acrylic tip but it'll work.
  22. yeah i saw those, and so far that's about all i can find, they're just so bland. i really wanted some ya know.....good looking one's lol i'm beginning to think i'm not going to find any. i've checked alot of places.
  23. i would rather it was rubber. if i have to a soft plastic would be fine. no glass, no aluminum. have several of those already.
  24. anyone know where i can find some? i'm looking specifically for like a variety pack with a multitude of colors, preferably with a ribbon type pattern. 510/808/901 variety.
  25. are the threads on the battery male or female? my guess is it's either an rn4081 (think that's the model name) or a 510. could be an 808 i suppose. either way the battery life is probly anywhere from 200-300mah at most.
