  1. Love the Ego-C tank system. Flavor of dripping, simplicity of the cartos. This is what I do most of the time. My preferred. I use DD when I am running though flavors quickly, trying out a new sampler or something of the like. I have recently been burning though my EMDCC's...and by burning I mean using...have only had to put one in alcohol so far to clean it due to build up and burnt taste...So 4 more to kill...I am vaping so much to get back to my Ego-C, but I want to try everything, and it is such a shame to waste a full carto...
  2. Correct, stick with the LR's, I have tried both and like the LR's better. If you have money to spend and don't mind having 4 SR attys that you will never use lay around go ahead and pick them up, but the LR's are perfect for every liquid I have ever made/tried. What kind of liquid do you like?
  3. If you like how the LR's taste, stick with them. The Standard resistance ones are A LOT cooler and much less flavorful. I personally use the Ego-C daily, and the LR's are the only loves for me. Standard just don't cut it in this device. You will go through attys a little faster with LR attys, but it is worth it in my opinion.
  4. Lol. In the infinity that is fine, IMO. That would be a neat battery to find though! The infinity is an EXCELLENT piece of hardware and has the circuitry to prevent most problems. Realistically, your's is safer than my 18650 VV tube, IMO. Not to worry you, What I would suggest is that you should use a single 18650, instead of two 18350's. In the infinity there really isn't an option. They use the smaller battery and a dual bay charger to lower charge times. And use the highest quality battery, and this does not mean you should over spend on batteries, just buy from reputable vendors. Chris will correct me if I am wrong.
  5. Batteries can explode. If you use a cell phone, a car, or a laptop/tablet you are at just as much risk. There are hundreds of stories of cell phone batteries exploding and causing harm. He was using a bad MOD I am sure, possibly stacking batts, or simply not using common sense. Because e-cigs are the new hype the get bad publicity to sell papers. When cell phones now explode, you never hear of it. 20 years ago when they just hit the scene, it was huge. Just explain how much of a freak accident it is, and don't even bother to address it. I just shrug it off. When I don't worry about it, and stick the thing they think is deadly in my mouth again and again, they stop caring. It is all mindset with them. If you don't worry, they won't worry.
  6. I have owned the Ego-C for about 45 days now. I own a VVTube mod, and use that for dripping when I am at home, and I have realized...that besides testing juices out rapidly. There is no real point in using my VVtube. I get the same flavor from my Ego-C. While the Ego-C is a static voltage device, the LR attys allow you to get a very warm and flavorful vapor, with all the flavor and deliciousness of dripping. WITHOUT ACTUALLY DRIPPING! I love it. I know everyone has used a carto for about a week or two and you just keep using it even though the draw gets a little tight, or the flavor mutes out a bit, to save money. After all, why throw away something that works right? With the Ego c, after filling and assmbling the very easy to use Ego-C cone assembly. it works just as a cartomizer or flux or whatever other cartidge you stick on the end of your EGO style battery. But it works BETTER. With a huge tank, 1 mL is the volume I am able to fit into my tanks. I just want to do a quick comparision to a few cartos I have used and let you know of the flavor difference and what other things I have noticed. All are used on the same Ego 5 click battery. About 25 charging cycles, after fully charging to save from voltage drop off differences. I used a very flavorful juice that I love dripping with. Atomic Cinnacide, at 24mg, 70/20 PG/VG. Cartos were used about 1 week total, and upon writing this I sat down, vaped on it for about 20 minutes, and wrote my exact experience based on how I felt the vape was for the past 20 minutes. I took a 10 minute break between the vapes, and randomly decided which was next with blindfold and grab technique. Delivery Device Ressurector, 1.7 ohm - Flavorful, convienient, I love the after taste when I chain vape for about 2 minutes and let the carto get a little hot. Lots of vapor, lots of flavor. Flavor- 7, Throat hit- 7, Vapor production- 7 Dripping with VVtube at 4.8 with 3 ohm 510 atty- Lots of flavor, PITA, had to change my atty I was using due to a previous flavor that remained. New atty is great. Love the huge Throat hit and the amazing vapor production, dry hits pretty often...flooding...get me a napkin. Flavor-10 when it hits well, -2 when I get a dry hit, Throat hit- 10, Vapor production- 9. Very warm and delicious vape Ego-C, LR atty- Solid vapor production. Very flavorful. Simple. French Vape is super fun with the warm vapor (up through the nose after in mouth). Consistent, delicious, warm, and easy. Lots of flavor and vapor. Flavor-10, Throat hit- 10, Vapor production-10. So consistent it is rediculous. Ego mega dual coil carto 1.5 LR- Excellent vapor production, but noticable less flavor than the Ego-C attachment. Kind of dissappointed. Flavor is there, but below what it was with the Ego-C. Flavor-7 (could be more if I wasn't coming off of the Ego-C. If i was previously using a 510 1.5 it might be higher...hard to be 100% sure) Throat hit-8, Vapor Production- 9 Very solid vape. All in all, the Ego-C is just like a carto, at a slightly higher pricetag to get started. about 15 bucks for the cone, and then 5 bucks an atty, with the platic tank expense still to be mentioned at about .50-.70 cents a pop. When you do a carto, if you pay 6 bucks for a single carto you better be getting the BEST DAMN VAPE OF YOUR LIFE! and honestly. I can say that with the Ego-C it is close. If you are an Ego user. If you vape at 7.4 you can honestly forget it But for someone who just likes simple, standard, and easy. Pick up a cone, a set of LR attys, and a 5 pack of tanks and get rocking. For about 50 bucks you can try this setup out...which is a standard MOD pricetag, but you will fall in love with it. If price points are your concern, stick with the Boge2.0, EMDCC, or res you are using, but if you want DD flavor and production, without the hassle. I don't know what you are waiting for. #getatit.
  7. Lol. How is the Volcano vaping cafe? I have thought about opening something like that around here...Wisconsin... but it seems like an EXTREMELY RISKY business model and I cannot take a huge risk right now. I would love to know more about it. Is it busy? Do people treat it just like a coffee shop or what?!? I am so confused as to how it would be used.
  8. Thanks for the thoughts guys. Really appreciate the help. @ Kit- Kinda neat that your are an ortho nurse and vape, and it just so happens that I am a vaper going for arthroplasty of teh hip. Just curious how small a world it is with THE INTERNET!
  9. Damn. Those are awesome. Nice work Mega. Do you like CE2's overall as far as functionality and vaping goes? Or did you just pick up the CE2 for lighting purposes
  10. Maverick, do you have any idea if they actually are making a type B? or a possible release date? I will be very interested in trying those out. What do you believe the difference will be?
  11. Figures that I would be forced by SCIENCE to buy more mods...SCIENCE IS THE BANE OF MY EXISTENCE! Not really, but thanks a lot for the input safervapers and bobthesalesclerk. The experiences are what really help me understand. It figures that there is more to the flavor output than just wattage...durn.
  12. Yeah, I don't intend to vape MORE in the hospital, I just don't want to be out 40 bucks when they confiscate my Ego because I won't listen to them and stop vaping... Then again I will probably be pretty hopped up on morphine for the first 8-12 hours so I doubt I will care a whole lot. Thanks for the help guys!
  13. Yes! I love that batteries are starting to just come as passthroughs instead of needing to pick an extra one up. Most kits still contain the standard non-passthrough variety. But it is COMING!
  14. Stacking is something I won't touch on. Some people do it, but that is at their own POSSIBLE risk. The batteries you have noted in your post simply are different, from Notcigs, they are protected batteries. The ones from the other vendor are not protected. What this means is that the ones from the other vendor COULD POSSIBLY rapidly discharge and explode. Typically, it is suggested that you only use protected batteries in personal use mods as you will probably have them in your pockets/near your face quite often...and you don't want bad things happening to you because you could save 20 bucks on batteries over the year... Just not worth it quite honestly.
  15. Turns out VV mods or extreme mods are not going to be my every day vape. I love my ego-c...LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! But...I do want higher voltage on a battery than the Ego batteries. The 3.7 is solid, but I would like to go to about 4.2 or in that area. I have found the Riva Special Edition, which supposedly runs at 4.2 volts pretty consistently. Anyone use the Riva SE? I love the idea of the bolt mod, but it is only 3.7, and I just want a LITTLE BIT more from my vape than what I can get with 1.5ohm carto and my Ego... I have found typical Riva reviews, and they are about the same quality as JoyeTech from what I understand, same charger, simply without the Power Management circuit board in them, or a different one. I do not want a mod. I like simple, way simple. Ego/Riva/ battery type is all I need. Must be 510/EGO compatible. I will be using LR 1.5-2.0 cartos/attys on these batts. Any ideas or suggestions? Possibly a Riva SE user who could let me know if the Ego => Riva difference was anything signifciant?
  16. 14. The use of nicotine products (i.e., cigarettes, cigars, gums, or patches) has been shown to increase risk of complications following surgery. They can inhibit bone and wound healing by decreasing blood flow to the surgical site. They can also increase the risk of deep vein thrombosis (DVT, a.k.a. blood clots). Please discuss smoking cessation with your doctor. This noise truth?!?! With the whole nicotine constricting blood vessels thing I get it...maybe I will have to lay off for a few days until I get back on my feet...
  17. I bought a 250 mL bottle of 100mg/mL nic base. I expect it to last me 2+ years at approximatly 60 dollars. 60 bucks for 2 years of vaping. DEAL! To answer your question, typically higher nic base equates to cheaper overall, but you have to be much more careful, and storage becomes an issue, 2+ years is a long time to store a product that could be reactive!?!?! But if you know what you are doing, #getatitbro
  18. Aint that the truth kitsune. between cartos, attys premade juices, diy, batteries, mods and everything else vaping is so much fun! tinkering is my favorite, and if I ever acually dial in what I really want and stick to it I COULD save a ton of money vs. deathstix. Im already feeling incredible in lungs and confidence and health. My wallet currently wants to stab me in my sleep. but she will get used to it andcome to love me soon. What do you have for a VV kitsune?
  19. solid. thanks for the help guys. simply not used to the disposable scene. i got an apollo with my vtube, since they are free with the 60 dollar purchase, and it works amazinly well. anyone able to compare these types to an ego with an LR carto? how much of a reduction is it in vapor reduction? I only wonder because if I am vaping 100% of the time, chain vaping to get my fix, they are sure to notice vs. my ego where i only hit it about 3-5 times in 10-20 mins. I will just get them all and experiment i suppose. i love experimenting.
  20. I am in need of a disposable or cheap battery... I am going in for surgery on the 24th of February for a Total Hip Replacement, and I know the hospital will NOT ENJOY me vaping in my hospital bed, but I will require vaping...I am sure of it. I would like to use my cartos there, but I would rather it not be a huge financial loss when I do have them taken away if I do not get them back. I will also need extras. With my VV Tube and 2 650's I cannot really lose these, but maybe there is a super cheap 510 battery I could use? Cartos are all 510 style and I don't need, or rather I know I won't get, quality batteries but something cheap and that I could deal with the loss of should I not ever see it again. I would probably need to get 10 of these to be sure that I have enough for 3 days in my bed while I recover from the surgery. Maybe pick up a few of the cheapo Kr808's or something...but I would need something that actually produces vapor, and if I were to have them after the surgery, I would like whatever option I do pursue to actually benefit me with my vaping in the future maybe? I might be asking for too much here. Any suggestions?
  21. I need to actually do work at work...instead of reading about my next new cartos I'm picking up... Can't wait to try these Boge's I hear so much about!
  22. Part one, worth it? Part two, technical issues? Part three, spillage? (It doesn't seem like a closed system, or is it? Will it leak if I turn it upside whoopsies?)
  23. So I am sure this question has been asked 102933.4 times before, but why do many people prefer high voltage vaping when you can get the same or HIGHER watts out of lower voltage and lower resistance? Warmer vapor possibly? I am still trying to figure out how to use my multimeter I picked up...so sue me.
  24. Love the variety that dripping gives me, recently found Crystal clear vaping, who offers cartos at DIRT CHEAP bulk pricing, with free shipping, So I will be grabbing ressurectors and boge LR carts for the first time soon. Excited. I crushed a box of SmokTech EMDCC's this past week. I have been vaping the mass produced Nport, I have 200mL of it, and it is the closest thing I have found to my old habit, so I keep going back to it in a carto due to ease of use. I cannot find another Tobacco menthol that does justice to my old habit besides this one. I have been out of my ego-C attys for awhile, will probably pick some more up shortly with my next order of my favorite menthol juice that I apparently cannot replicate...trying to replicate juices is TOUGH...but I have managed to make a few good ones Turns out I am a fruity type of guy more than Tobacco, and I have no idea what I am going to do with my Brandy and Abisinte flavorings I picked up...made juices with them...and I still have a solid 4.5 mL of each left after tying them a bit. Booze flavors are not for me, but they do taste EXACTLY like the real things. Loving the LT/Dripping. I am sure I would love a Provari or any GREAT VV decive more, but the LT does it as far as making things work. If you want to step into VV vaping, get at it. If you are reasonably satisfied with Ego batts/LR cartos I wouldn't really bother, but every vaper should try a VV device/dripping just to know whats up. The LT performs well, I am sure it's not as good as the other more expensive models (you get what you pay for, duh!) but it is enough to let me know I don't need to peruse the more expensive mods further. VV vaping is fun, but not a necessity for me, maybe one day down the road I will pick up a decent mod, as mjradik said the LT doesn't really perform perfectly, I have noticed that I cannot really PUMP VOLTS into my cartos as I would like to with a VV mod. Bottom feeders/Wet mods interest me yet...not sure if I will go near those though with the beauty of the Ego-C it really isn't needed. These are my feelings after about 2 weeks using the mini LT along with the cartos. I have been using 510 Dual coil LR cartos a lot as well. Theses 12 hour shifts at work make me vape... A LOT.
