  1. I've heard of them, but at 42 I can't say that emo is my thing. Lol.
  2. Wonderful. Good thing I have a spare. Seriously, people. Quality control is not a bad thing.
  3. I'm charging my AW18650 batteries on the Trustfire 001 charger, and it's making a high pitched whining/ buzzing noise? Is this normal or should I toss the battery? It's only a week old.
  4. There's quite a few good bands in the area. I'm still trying to get my band up and running, but it shouldn't be too much longer before we are out there playing again, too.
  5. Southern Lancaster County. Smack dab in the middle of Amishland.
  6. After melting down my VV mod (that I built) while attempting a minor repair, I got fed up with fiddling with the tiny vv circuit and ordered a Lavatube from Volcano. It arrived today. Ah. That's better. I've been using my old 808 batteries until it arrived, and they suck in so many ways, but mostly because the Cig2O cartos that I had here at home just taste terrible. Whoever came up with that formula for menthol should be fired. It's so nice to be able to use my normal juices again. Thanks for the fast service, from Hawaii to Pennsylvania in four days. Sweet.
  7. I use CA as a finish on bass guitar fingerboards every time I make a fretless bass. It leaves you with a finish that looks like glass, and is very easy to maintain between string changes. I just keep some micromesh handy.
  8. It's my first weekend without kids in a month, so I really think I'll be able to make it to this one!!
  9. My recliner is my primary "vape station". So I guess it makes sense that my mods are larger and fancy. They match the furniture!!
  10. I went the opposite direction with my latest mod. Lol, it's HUGE!! The box is a bit bigger than it really needed to be, but it's for at home anyway so who cares? It's a dual 14500 variable voltage. Really liking it so far, it's my first VV.
  11. My first was a convenience store disposable, followed directly with an Encore (808) kit. That lasted about two weeks before I ordered my eGo batteries and the parts to start making mods. I've been analog free since 9/28/11.
  12. I've got the Madvapes tank and love it. They just made replacement cartos available for it in two different resistances, so you should be able to find one you like. I'm still sing the carto that came with the tank (almost two weeks!!), and when it dies, I'll be replacing it with a LR carto. The EMDCC's are excellent. The Smoktech ones are great too. I use them on my eGo battery when I'm out and about.
  13. virtualvillage.com was the very first google link that came up for the holders. I've been wanting to try a juice feeder. Need to research that one.
  14. Thanks for the quick reply. Do the 18650's fit a standard AA battery holder? EDIT: got my answer. No they don't. Now, where can I get 18650 holders without having to buy 50 of them??
  15. So far I've built almost a dozen 3.7v, single 14500 mods, and I'm trying to branch out into more complex mods, but not sure where I should go with it. Let's get creative here. What's your dream machine??
  16. What is it everyone prefers? Single 14500? Dual 18650?? You tell me. I'm still pretty new to modding, and would like to build one that everyone will like!! Give me your ultimate setup, and I'll see if I can make it a reality!!
  17. Here's what I've got to date, I built all the mods pictured. Three more are in the shop, finish isn't dry yet.
  18. Lol. I'm using them and wasn't sure about the acronym!! I love them. I get almost a whole day with a small battery with them. Get them. You'll be glad you did.
  19. When I first joined this forum, all I heard was "get an eGo." I eventually listened and I gotta say, it's good advice. Not only is the battery life great compared to kiosk ecigs, but the amount of compatible accessories is mind-boggling. I'll definitely replace my eGo if anything happens to it.
  20. The horn buttons aren't bad, just a little bigger than I'd like. I like the soft clicking of the switch, but yeah. Too big. I'm gonna have to run to Radio Shack and spend some time looking around. It's been awhile. I grabbed one of those C&K switches when I placed this last order, but it's not really practical on a wooden box. It requires a very thin, like 1/16" or so, spot to mount it. That would make a pretty weak spot right where the box is taking the most abuse. Plus, the metal washer and nut is kinda gaudy and ugly against certain grains. Eventually I'll find a use for the switch though.
