My only experience so far was I vaped at the checkout in Wal Mart, and the woman who oversees the do it yourself check outs saw me and asked how it was working out for me. She said she got one for her MOM and it worked great for her, an ex 3 pack a day smoker. But, I almost fell OVER when she told me she paid $275.00 for her kit. I told her how much mine was (about $60.00) and she FREAKED. She said she bought it in a mall in West Virginia when she was on vacation. Any how, Im surprised a hospital is even CONSIDERING it. That would be a BIG boost for Vaping World

Ok, I dont know why, but all of a sudden Im thinking of questions that I probably SHOULD know the answers to, but for reasons probably related to growing old cant remember. So I thought Id start a thread that I can keep coming back to instead of bouncing all over the place trying to find where I was. I remember when I first joined VT, I thought I asked a dumb question, and Chris said " Theres no such thing as a dumb question". I am sure by now, Chris sees my name on a post and says " Oh sweet Mother of God, not HIM again". For that , I be sorry. Heres ONE question that comes to mind right now. I read somewhere that you should store your liquid in the refridgerator to keep them fresh. Anyone heard of this or do this. I havent been, but Im starting to get a pretty good quantity and Id hate for it to go bad. How long/fresh will it last NOT refrigerated. Thanks Guys. Love ya Chris

Ok. Boiled my atty, about 10 min. Let it dry a couple hours then blew out with air can. HOLY COW ! And I was satisfied with the way it was. I actually choked on the first 2 tokes. Now, for my dumb question of the day - whats the diff, if any, between a joye 510 and a tec (sic ?) 510. Are they the same thing.

Lacey, logic isnt in the DICTIONARY for these people . Unfortunately, if we dont agree verbatim with EVERYTHING they say, or think, we might as well be drug addicts. Now, they have everyones rights under a microscope, and systematically are picking apart the ones that they agree with from the ones they dont. And I agree, the motivation for ALL of it is - MONEY. I honestly think if there was some way we could prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that vaping CURED cancer, but only if we didnt charge a dime for it, they would have to find a way to ban it. The FDA is approving drugs on a daily basis with side effects that can drop a bull moose, with LITTLE regard for the safety of the general public, because its PROFITABLE. Today they ok'd an UNTESTED vaccine for H1N1 because of the national emergency. I, for one, dont think the 'national emergency" is at the point where we need to create a potential second "national emergency" with an untested, unproven drug. To paraphrase Shakespear " First, we kill the lawyers, then the Politicians, then Big Pharma ..........."

WOW, youve covered a LOT of ground in a week dude. I started on the Blu too, and my FACE turned blue tryin to get a hit off of it. I invented some new curse words to describe how I feel about Blu. Luckily, the 510 restored my faith in vaping. Ive tried dripping, but I dont like having to keep dripping every 5 0r 6 puffs, so refilling the cart works fine for me. Youll find, over time, your taste buds will be exploding. I remember my first week feeling like my tounge was re born. But it just keeps getting better all the time. So which model is your favorite. I want to get a VP2 soon

AWESOME man !. My type of music, Supertramp is one of my favorites. Ive worn copies out of " Even in the Quietest Moments ". I played all over New York and Mass. with my band. I wrote my own material, and we did a few covers. The Who "Wont Get Fooled Again" and we did a killer version of the Eagles Already Gone. Back in the day I played in an all cover band, but its not the same as playing your own stuff. We recorded a CD but really didnt have the money to promote it. If I knew then what I know now, I woulda done things a Lot differently. Great to meet another musician. Above all, have fun, thats the best part.

Yeah, the 510 is the bomb ! And if you dont have one, I strongly reccomend a usb passthrough. I use mine like a workhorse, never have to worry about batt while Im by my computer ( which is ALWAYS ). What kind of guitar you playing, the pic is too small to tell. I have an Ovation and a Strat, also a Fender Jazz

Dont know why I ask these questions every 5 days. Just dont think of everything all at once I guess. My 510 batt, are they smart batteries? What I mean is, after the green light comes on showing its charged, will it hurt it to leave it on the charger. I actually stayed up an hour later one night waiting for it to charge because I didnt want to leave it on all night long.

This must be the topic of the day. I asked Chris about it earlier today, and evidently you just boil them in water, plastic and all. I think you might find some help on you tube as well, or just PM Chris.

Im kinda new to this as well, and Im sure Chris will post an answer for you soon, but I was asking him earlier today about cleaning an atty for a 510, and you boil them in water. If yours are brand new, they may be defective. Im not familiar with the 801, so maybe Chris or someone else will be a little more help.

One more dumb question, do you drop the whole black piece of the atty in the boiling water or is there a way to take it apart. Also, how long do you boil it?

He sent me a free sample, and I chose Pepsi. Now, Ive tried Coca Cola from another supplier, and it tastes like flat cola, its good, just flat. The Pepsi from wordup is friggin AWESOME. No flat taste whatsoever. I almost feel like Im holdin a bottle of the stuff.

Heres a noob question. How often should you clean attys, and/or when do you know its time to clean them ? Ive been using my 510 attys HARDCORE for about 3 weeks now. I dont drip much, usually just refill carts. There doesnt SEEM to be any vapor loss or taste diff. Is it something you should just do as a maintenence thing, like changing the oil in your car. Im about blind as a bat, so I cant tell visually. Also, If I remember correctly, I think Chris told me once to just boil them in water, is that right.
