it should go right on the tip that screws into the cart. Just slip onto tip up to the threads. If it keeps coming off then it is stretched and the only way to stop it would be to replace it with new O ring. I don't know of any one that sells just that O ring.

Try wrapping your coil around a jewelers screwdriver not sure on the size atm just match it up with you wick size. I ran your friends formula in the calculator I use. here are the results (Based on 20 drops per ml) This makes: 10.5ml of fluid 55%pg / 45%vg 28.57% Flavor/Sweetner mix 23.81% Flavoring 4.76% Sweetner If this is what you like all you would need to do is divide you flavorings into parts that equal a total of 2.5ml to maintain these percentages. If you want to make more at one time say 21ml of fluid just simply double everything. One way of mixing more than one flavor your Raspberry and Blueberry for example would be to add 1.25ml of 1 and 1.25 of the other. Say you want more blueberry flavor than raspberry do .50ml ras 2ml blu and so on. Say this mix just doesn't have enough flavor, start with the 4.5ml vg base then only add 2ml pg make your flavoring 3.5 and divide that as above. What this will do is raise the flavor % to 38% flavoring without taking away from the PG/VG percentages. Hope that helps...

Welcome, and some advice don't give up on the e-cig after your surgery. When I had mine I couldn't vape, it made my mouth really sore. took about a week before I could vape again. My dentist said it was the nicotine that was causing the soreness. Vaping -0- nicotine did help.

Don't buy batteries from Fast Tech, It will delay your order and may get sent back to Fast Tech. I find the coils you mention to be sub par. If your having trouble with building coils just buy the KPT replacement heads they are cheap. They are much better than wick and wire ones you mentioned. I get those with the rebuildables I have and they are just junk. There are some of us that just have to do it for the sake of the experience. Most people yes should just grab and vape. I grew up wanting to see how something works, recreate it, rebuild it. For me it is more than just a hobby it is relaxing and satisfying. Without DIY we wouldn't be Vaping at all. It is getting in a creating something that didn't exist before or making it better. Most Juice makers started by doing DIY. Don't sell the DIYers short. And yes I was one that looked into growing my own tobacco, I just found that it wasn't my cup-o-tea and bought Camels. Everyone has a preferred method one just as useful as the other. I'm just the type likes to try an squeeze all the life I can out of a coil. I have been told that dry burning weakens a coil, and I can see over time how it is possible. I can say though that I have one coil that I dry burn the crud off of regularly and it has now gone 4 weeks and still vaping strong. I had one coil that the first time I dry burned it, it popped and was done. I would try different methods till you find one that works well for you.

A KPT? It is simple. Take the glass part of the tank off leaving your self with the coil head screwed into the base. With needle nose pliers or Hemos (I like hemostats) take off the top metal cap covering the coil (refer to the pinned post on this board) so you can see the coil. Screw the base onto to your MOD (I use a mechanical MOD for this but you don't need too) The VV/VW have a kick off if you hold the button to long. Hit the fire button to the kick off point and repeat until you see the coil glow. at this point you will notice (if using Silica wick) the wick will start turning white again. I do this until no vapor comes off the the coil, the wick is white and the coil glows almost instantly when I press the fire button. If you are using Cotton or any organic wick it will burn. Take out the wick before dry burning and install a new wick in this case after the dry burn. Note.If you are using a mechanical mod to dry burn count to ten let off the button wait a sec repeat as stated above.

Are you mixing with -0- Nicotine? There is no set formula for mixing flavors. But when you start adding nicotine you need to be Really Careful. If you add to much flavor or to many different flavors it can muddy up. Meaning it will just not taste right. Mixing fluid is the art of Alchemy mixed with the art of cooking. Just like baking, a cake mixing to much of the base ingredients will make it fail when it is baked. When people post a % of flavor for a recipe it is because there are many kinds of droppers. Some droppers take 18 to make 1 ml some take 30 some take 60. First thing you need to do is find out how many drops it takes with the droppers you use to make 1 ml. The calculators can help you with this by allowing you to change the drops to ML. The calculators help you with knowing what you nicotine content is by MG, not something you should ever guess at. They will also give you what PG/VG ratio you will end up with before you mix things together. I know they look complicated at first. In some cases they give more information than most people need to do a basic mix. Unfortunately they are needed if you want to be consistent or not cause you to have a Nicotine overdose.
