  1. So I'm a few months into using my VAMO, and it is pretty good. Gets scratched up easily, but overall not bad at all for the price. Trouble is, I am not sure what to use on it. Before I was big on the ego mega cartos... but for some reason the airflow on those with the VAMO isn't the best. Carto tanks work well - sometimes, but for some reason I am getting a lot of leakage right now out of my carto tank, and need something as a back-up until the new tank and parts arrive. Has anyone had any luck with any kind of mega carto on a VAMO in terms of airflow?
  2. Oh no, they aren't giving me $50 in store credit... they are giving me $10 for being "honest." If they were giving me $50, I'd likely just offer to send them $5 and keep the thing to sell. The sad thing is, they don't have to give me anything but a shipping label. I didn't buy 3, I bought 2.
  3. After a bit of use, I think I like the VAMO. I have noticed that the battery just stops firing on low resistance cartos much sooner than on standard resistance. I know low resistance mods on VV/VW mods seems silly, but I have a ton of them, and it's been hard to wean myself off them. The 1.5 cartos start to peter off when there is about 3.6 volts left on the battery - but I throw on a standard resistance carto, and get a lot more time out of it. I don't know if that is normal or not, but it is what it is. They did ship me the new unit with the upgraded springs, and the rattle issue is gone. I am quite happy with it. Of course, the issue is still ongoing - since only one of the units was broken, they told me to ship the broken one back, and they would replace it, and send a new spring along with the replacement for the unit that worked. When the package arrived - they shipped me an extra VAMO by mistake. I contacted them to let them know (it just didn't feel right just to keep it), and they offered me some store credit if I would send it back. That was nice and everything (not that I'd be using it anytime soon), but they told me they couldn't give me a shipping label, but they would instead give me more store credit to "reimburse" me for the shipping cost. Maybe I'm weird, but that just irritated the hell out of me. I'm happy to send the thing back, but hell - I don't want to have to PAY for it...
  4. I think I go through close to 10ml a day - but I vape almost constantly, with multiple devices, so I guess I fall in the "heavy" category
  5. So I went ahead and ordered 2 VAMOs... one for me, and one for a friend. The screen on one of them shipped broken (one of the numbers wouldn't light up). Both had the battery/old spring issue. I went out and bought some nipple-topped batteries, so we will see if that fixes it in the meantime. I emailed Smoktek... so we will see what happens!
  6. I loved Bobas ... it was my go-to juice for the first few months that I vaped. Until one day.. suddenly I hated it. I have no idea why... and I have tried it several times since with no change. I still recommend it occasionally- but as to why it changed... no idea. Ive never gone from love to loathe with anything before quite like Bobas. These days my standbys are TVRs Gingerbread and Queen of Hearts from Villain "
  7. While using adapters isn't ideal, I occasionally have need of a 510-eGo adapter to use some 4ml eGo cartos. No matter how careful I try to be, I keep getting those damned adapters stuck in the carto. I haven't figured out a way to get them out without breaking the adapter. Anyone have any experience with this? Any idea how to safely remove the adapter?
  8. So I just watched the pbusardo review video on it. How bad is that battery rattle? I'd probably stick with the single 18650 on something like that (mostly because I have em)... is it a real issue?
  9. Variable WATTAGE? WTF, I have been in a hole a little longer than I thought? What does that do for you?
  10. It's been a while since I bought a mod... Heck, I feel like ive been out of touch for a few months. Anyway... My iPro has been plugging away like a champ, but I am kinda looking at picking up something new. What's the latest favorite? Are people still Gaga over lavatubes? All the shops I go to now seem to be high on the provari, but I seem to recall people weren't too high on that before. Just checking in to see if there was some new hot thing I missed before I decide...
  11. Sorry to raise a dead thread, but I came across this, and it is applicable. Have you learned anything else about this? I am a pretty heavy vaper (pretty much all day long), and when I had a blood test about a year ago, my Triglycerides were about that high as well. Had to change my diet, to almost no effect. If it is the vaping, that might explain a great deal...
  12. Well, there is plenty of evidence that the exhaust from that car is far more damaging than the smoke from the driver's cigarette, so I wouldn't let it bug you THAT much
  13. When I first started vaping, I never vaped anywhere indoors outside of my home. Now I do it almost everywhere. I don't do it in friends homes (unless they smoke inside), and I don't do it in restaurants or stores, but almost everywhere else is fair game. Bars especially. I've never been questioned in a bar about it. Though funny enough, I got asked to stop smoking my analog pipe in a semi outdoor bar that allowed smoking. It was completely ridiculous - but I've officially been asked to stop smoking in places that allow smoking more times than I have been asked to stop vaping in places that don't...
  14. It might be a longshot, but are you getting dehydrated? Make sure you are drinking a lot of water when you vape. Dehydration CAN cause snoring, so it is possible that the snoring came back as a result of your vaping.
  15. You might consider trying the 4ml cartomizers. I have a JTank and use it regularly, but I go through these periods where it just isn't working out. Either I get a bad batch of cartos, or something goes wrong with the punching, or it doesn't like my juice, and I go through a string of cartos that just have a nasty taste. When that happens, I switch back to the giant cartos for a while. I will either use a LEO 4ml DCC with a 510 to LEO adaptor, or a SmokTech Mega DCC (either with a 510 to Ego adapter or a 510 extender). I really do love them. They give a great TH (awesome for me, a low nic vaper) and are ideal for long periods without a refill. They last about as long (if not longer) than a filled J Tank. Anyway - it's another idea to consider. I love tanks, but this is a great alternative for you.
  16. I suspected you were punching in too far as well - glad you were able to rule that out. I have a terrible time with Smoktech's and a juicy vape in my tanks. I think it is just the brand. Try a Boge, I think you will be happier with them.
  17. How are you punching your cartos? Are they pre-punched, or are you doing it yourself? What brand of cartos are you using?
  18. I also find that you can flood a carto if you penetrate the filler too much. 100% PG will lead to a flooded carto, but if you have a small, very deep hole, you will find that also floods.
  19. That was exactly what I thought. It needs a blue LED ring at the top circling the edge, so if you put a tank on the top it glows
  20. I find that single coil cartos work just fine in any tank. I have a J Tank and a Submarine tank, and I use all sorts of cartos interchangeably. the XLs are easier, because you have a little more room to work with, but the standard size works fine, dual coil or otherwise.
  21. I have to agree as welll - my cartos last MUCH longer since I went from 100% VG to a 50/50 mix
  22. Usually the date is the date it was made. They last like 24 months I believe.
  23. I don't think a vv is the best out there for a beginner - that should be reserved for someone who knows exactly what they are doing. I guess the OP should clarify if they are new to vaping or not!
  24. Video game. I need more of those than I do another PV Though if I had to spend it on a PV, I'd look for a decent bottomfeeder.
  25. I have no idea if this starter kit is any good or not, but I figured some people might be interested in checking it out. It's $29 for the kit - they say it is a $60 value. Victory ecig on Groupon Apologies if this is the wrong forum. Still - an ecig on Groupon of any brand is worth talking about.
