Actually, the make a tank mod for it.... It holds 5 gallons of eliquid... The PCC case for it thats comming out is the size of a dresser...

Yes you can get a manual battery to make smoke come out the top with out vaping... but don't so it.. hold it down long enough and it will burn/destroy your carto/atty. They prolly hok up a smoke machine to it off camera, or had dry ice and water inside the tube..

I saw that yesturday, my wife showed me.... So funny.... If we was smart, and since he's an IT guy (like me) He prolly removed the hard drive and battery prior to shooting it.. If he removed the hard drive, he could slavage the software licenses he paid for. OR.. what I'm thinking is he actually shot an old useless laptop for the video... No one would really know except for his daughter.. We sure wouldn't.

Are you saything that you think your resurrectors fried 2 of your batteries? What kind of batteries? I never had issues with them. I've ordered and used over 25 of them the past 4 months, no issues on my ego batt. Do you tihnk they could be causing my bad batt in my LT? hmm... Maybe I can order a new LT batt, use it for several days with out the resurrector, then try it with, and see if it kills it.

uh.. oh... I'm starting to dislike my lava tube... First off, I think I may have a bad battery (not the lava tube's fault)... Battery life SUX. Its a 2200 mah. My ego is a 900mah. So in theory, if I vape my lavatube at 3.7v at all times, the battery should last twice as long... Well nope.. Its only lasting HALF as long as my ego battery. And second, voltage is horrible as the battery dies. The instructions state it will maintain voltage even as the battery discharges... Well not really. Only after about an hour or so of vaping, the voltage on my battery dropped to 3.5v (from a 4.2 max) I notice the vaping on my resurrector starting to suck.. hook up my volt meter. The resurrector, now is also only vaping at 3.5 volts, not 4.1, as with a freshly charged batt. The EMDCC and the 1.6 DC are now vaping at 3.0-3.1 volts. (compared to 3.6 and 4.2 with fresh batt) The 2.5 DC, is vaping at 4.1 volts (not 4.9) and the 3.0 atty is vaping at 4.6 volts (not 5.6).... GEEZE THATS HORRIBLE. I dunno if I'm going to keep using this.. I could always warrenty the battery, but prolly not worth it if I'm going to take advantage of apollo's 30 day money back guarentee. As of now, with the exception of getting 4.1volts on my resurrector for about 20-30 minutes, my ego battery is out preforming my lavatube...

well if I stick with my 1.7 resurrector, then 4.2 is all I need.... I might give it a try because I'm starting to dislike my lava tube... (see other posts)

I used the ego-t for the first couple month of vaping. I loved it... BUT what got me looking at other ecigs was the atty preformance varried ALOT from one atty to the other. Very inconsistant. Just like your seeing. You do need to break in the ego-t atty though. (basiclly get rid of the 'primer fluid' it ships with it soaked in) Water doesn't help much. It just takes time. One atty I had, I had to vape 3 mils of liquid to get the bad taste gone. That took ALLLL day. So all I can say, is keep vaping the atty to at least 3 mls. If it taste really bad, do a cigar puff vape, and don;t inhale. And the longer the atty has sit, the worst the taste and longer it takes to get rid of it. If yours have been sitting 6 months.. it might take a while.. I never tried it... but some people say you can soak the atty in vodka, then rise it out and let it dry to get rid of the primer. I did use rubbing alchohol once, and it helped... but don't soak it longer than 10 or 15 minutes, and rise it out very well. I eventually turned to the Ego Mega Dual Coil Carto (EMDCC) http://www.madvapes....Tip_p_3140.html and the 1.7 ohm resurrector. http://www.crystalcl...ECTOR_p_46.html THEY ROCK.. I kept the ego battery and still used that.. Thats a good battery.

Yes... very easy to clean and maintain. After doing it once, its a snap. Hmmmm switch to different liquid?? well thats a tough one. No different than switching liquid in a normal carto setup. Can't go from one flavor to another on opposite ends of the spectrum. Old flavor will always linger... Simular flavors it works fine. Like strawberry to blueberry to apple is fine. Barviarian cream to valinia to carmel to peanut butter is fine. Peach and pear work. Root beer to just about anything doesn't work.. lol... You really need to get alot of cartos, and have 1 carto for every flavor or every couple flavors..

So I got my lava tube clone (Apallo VTube) in today. So I decided to do some tests. All tests using new or almost new attys/cartos. I notice on the lava tube, using a old/worn atty/carto the max voltage drops off significantly. For lava tube, with the exception of the 'no load' test, its set at 6v. The theory max below is what that atty/carto should be able to do according to the mathmatical equation and this chart. https://docs.google....kwUEJEZXc#gid=1 dc=dual coil carto. The longer drag you take, or the hotter the atty/cartos gets, the more the voltage drops off. (well below what I listed above) With the exception of the emdcc and the resurrector, I think the lava tube is 'too carefull'.. meaing it drops the voltages even if it might not have to. Thats one thing I don't like about it. Its says the amp limit is 2.5, but I think its closer to 2.0. Because a 2.5 ohm catro should go to 6 volts, but the lava tube won't let it even get to 5. That sux... In short the lava tube is an OK VV device... If I was a 'pro' vaper, I wouldn't like it at all. I don't think the emdcc is truly 1.6 ohm, because the lavatube can rock it at 4.2 volts, and a 1.6 ohm device shouldn't be able to go above 4.0 volts. I notice the 2.5, 3.0 and SR ego-T atty get real hot real quick when vaping at it max limit. yes the vape is warm, but man, it almost burnt me when I touched it. Thats a turn off for me. The 2.5 DC I was using was from mad vapes. Was not impressed with it even at 4.9 volts. In short after vaping all day, the emdcc and resurrector at 4.1 volts BLOW THE SOCKs OFF the 2.5 and 3.0 device at higher voltages. I get a more satifying vape rocking the 1.7 resurrector at 4.1 volts, than the 2.5 dc at 4.9 volts. Maybe its the carto, i dunno. And there is a huge difference between the resurrector on the ego at 3.49 volts, and on the lava tube at 4.1 volts. The emdcc at 4.1 is almost just as good. I think I'm going to stick with the resurrector in a tank mod setup and the emdcc for now at 4.1 volts..

Question. Is it a tank with an atty or tank with a carto? If it is a carto, does the carto have the flange/plate at the bottom? I know the cartos I use with the plate, reduce the 510 thread part size by like 1 mm or less. Depending on the battery, this 1 mm, is enough so the carto does not come in contract with the battery. I really got to screw the carto on hard to get that extra 1/8th of a turn to so the carto comes in contact with the battery. Or of the battery is way off, I put in a very small metal washer in there, so it completes the connection. ... oh I just realized you said its heating up..... so its not a connection issue. Prolly just a bad atty/carto.

Well you CAN'T use LR on 5-6v mods. It will fry the atty/carto instantly. to much power. You need at least a 2.5 ohm atty/carto to go to 6 volts, but 3.0 ohm or higher is prefered. LR is considered around 1.5 ohms. There is a mathmatical equation to determine what volts can be used with what resistance. I don't know what it is... I just use the below handy chart. All its doing is oxidizing the nicotine. I never steep on purpose EXCEPT for one flavor. TPA's root beer. That MUST steep for 2 weeks to realy bring out the flavor. It makes it very good and very powerfull. Its like Barq's.. Its got bite. Other flavors I make sometimes steep 'natually' because I make them, and then don't use them for a while because I'm using other flavors at the time. Don't know why exactly they get darker... but most do. I would think because nicotine turns 'yellow' when exposed to oxygen, and steeping is oxidizing the nicotine. So the yellow mixes with the flavors, bringing out the natural flavor color. 90% of all the flavors I make are clear. but after 1 week, they ALL get color. I do think steeping does help in the 'mellow' flavors, like vanillia, coffees, caramels, etc... It took almost 3 weeks for my TPA 'double chocolate' to go from clear to brownish, and my TPA 'Strawberry' to go from clear to pink.

Well I just got in my first tank mod today I ordered from madvapes. (http://www.madvapes.com/Dual-Coil-510-Tank-Cartomizer_p_3324.html) I've only been using it for half a day, but so far I'm happy with the tank. However, using my ego battery, the 1.6 ohm DC it comes with isn't really all that great. My EMDCC and 1.7 Ressorector blow that carto out of the water. Good thing I never really planned on using the carto anyways. My Lava Tube should be in Thursday or friday, and I'll be able to start using my 2.5ohm DC at 5.5v with the tank and lava tube then. What I really want to do is use my 1.7 ohm Ressorector at 4.2 volts. Thats prolly the BEST carto I've ever used. I bought a inline voltage meter to. My ego battery clones, freshly charged, run at 3.9v no load. Put the ressorector on it, and its drops down to about 3.6 underload. I'm really anxious if the lava tube will let me rock my 1.7 ressorector at 4.2v under load. In theroy, and mathamaticlly it should work, but I guess I'll find out.

So I got an email today from a china supplier asking me about selling the new ego-vv. Its a variable voltage ego. Don't know how I got on thier email list (well I do, but we won't go there).. but thought it was interesting... Chirs, have you seen this? Funny thing is... about 2-3 week Before I started vaping, I started rolling my own cigs too. Could make a carton for like $11. I'm sure if I didn't start vaping, I would of continued doing that..... but... vaping was a much better choice.

ohhh.... I found this.... Great reference to what volts can be used on what ohm. The LT has a 2.5 amp limit. However, based on research, it seems the limit is more like 2.2. Because in theory, a 2.0 ohm should go up to 5 volts, at 2.5 amps, but people with volt meters say they can't get more than 4.4 volts on a 2.0 ohm. I'm ordered 2.5 ohm anyways, so I'm should be good. Yea, that is one reason why I waited so long to get a mod. I'm self employed, so I either work out of my house, or at different clients all day. The LT will work great at home, and in the car, but I won't exactly be able to put it in my pocket when I go to a client site, which I do now with my ego/carto. If I'm in the city at a client, and am parking 10 minutes away from the building in a parcking garage, can't exactly go back out to my car everytime to vape.... Guess I'll keep and ego bat and LR carto on me when I go places like that.

Just to update everyone.... I did some more research. Based on youtube reviews, I was under the impression that ALL dual coil cartos don't work well with the LT. However, thats not the case.. Only 1.5 ohm. I have found people that have hoked up 2.5 ohm and 3.0 ohm dual coil cartos to a voltmeter on the LT, and got ALL range of volts. a 2.0 ohm only got to 4.4 volts. A 1.5 - 1.7 ohm won';t get above 3.8 volts. And some LR single coil or LR attys won't get above 3.3 volts. In short, I'm ordering my VTube tomorrow. However, madvapes is all out of thier 2.5 ohm cartos that work in thier tanks. I'm going to get thier tank and 2.5 ohm''s when they come in. If I like it, and I'm sure I will, I will sell most of my 1.5 -1,7 ohm and LR stuff to my sister in law..
