  1. Even if its out of juice some vapor will still be generated, but it will be significantly less. The biggest sign, you get a burnt taste. trust me, you will totally be able to tell a burnt taste vrs a normal taste. I know I did, and I'm a newbie.
  2. I'm a newbie and use the ego-T. My brand new atty's/tanks leak with certian flavors, maybe because they are thinner than other falvors/I dunno. I notice the leaking only happens when I don't vape for a while, then I vape. I have the ego-t sitting up right when not in use. I now store my ego-T upside down (mouth piece/tank) on the kitchen counter upside down up aginst the wall. I haven't had a single leaking issue since.
  3. Yea, I prolly am. Reading posts about warning people to use gloves/etc when making their own juices with high nic based bulk solution gets me gitty. Also paranoid about dripping some on the floor, not knowing about it, and my 25lb dog licking it up. I'm sure it would hurt a 25lb dog. I'm sure a drop or two of the 18mg juice I use won't hurt me if some leaks on my hands/lips. Shoot 2ml of it goes in my lungs everyday, lol.
  4. I too just started a few days ago with the Ego-T. Got it at forevervapor. but I got the PG juice. I love the eGo-T. Way easy. Looking at other posts about people dripping/other stuff, I'm thinking to my self wow, that’s a lot of work. With the eGo-T, just fill and vape. As far as the amount and stuff, look at my post 'Juice Nicotine vrs analog' in this newbie forum a couple posts down. Will answer the above questions as far as amounts and stuff. Also look at my other post about me being a newbie. ‘Newbie, Need Help Vaping – Bad Atty?’ We both have/had the same questions. As far as the 100%VG, I'm surprised it worked unless forevervapor's VG is diluted, which I wouldn’t know because I never ordered it. People say you should dilute it with PG to make it less thick.
  5. I'm looking to dilute my PG pre-mixed bought juices to reduce the nic content. I buy them here/forevervaopr because of the good prices. However they don't offer anything less than 18mg. I want like 6-9. Instead of buying 6-9 premade, can't I just dilute 18 with plain 0mg nic PG? Looking at other posts, I found 'PolyEthylene Glycol-PEG 400. Pharmacopoeia-Grade 60ml' at totallywicked-eliquid for less than $6. Is that what I'm looking for? Will it mix well with store bought PG? I'm assuming it will weaken the flavor a bit too if I don't add any flavor, but more concerned about lowing the nic content first, can experiment with flavors later. If I got the wrong stuff, what is the right stuff? Can any suggest another reputable dealer? (FYI, I can google it and get alot of choices, but don't want to order something blindly with out a recommendation first) Thanks. FYI, being a newbie, I'll worry about creating my own jucies from scratch at a later time. I just think for now, working with/mixing premade stuff is easier, and a good start.
  6. Yea, I'm attaching the pic just as an FYI. Its PG Juice. I personally store my juice in my office in a closed file cabinet. Its bewteen 68-74 at all times, so I know I'm good.
  7. Hello all, I’m a newbie. I know juice is a high concentration of nicotine, and should avoid getting on lips/skin/etc.. However, if I spill/drip some one my hands, or get some on my lips, I’m paranoid, and wash my hands right away, or rinse out my mouth. For veteran vapeors out there, should I really be that paranoid? I mean if I get a couple drops of my lips or skin of 18mg juice, that’s maybe only equivalent to a couple of analogs. Its not like I’m drinking 1ml of it, which would close to like smoking an entire pack of analogs at once. So just a question for veterans. A simple wipe my hands/lips with a cloth should be fine? Anyone out there experience high levels of nic side effects/bad problems by accidently getting to much on skin or to much in mouth by accident?
  8. Thanks for the quick response and perfect answer. Yea, I’m sure you don’t absorb 100% of the nic from vaping, but I’m sure its high because its inhaled. Maybe 90%, I dunno. That’s another advantage of vaping, if I fall in love with it, like I’m sure I will, and beginning to, and start chain vaping like other people, at least I have the option of reducing the nic content to like 6mg or something so its “not as bad” (and I say that loosely) Of course, anything is better than all those 1000’s of chemicals that are in analogs. So what do people consider an average vaporer? Like with analogs, a normal smoker is “a pack a day”. If someone says “I smoke 2 packs a day” other people will say “damn that’s a lot” So is like 36-48mg/day vapoper considered a normal/non-chain vaporer? I guess it's all relative. (like my wife who still smokes and hasn't switched to vaping yet, "because I'm testing it out first", she is considered a smoker, but only smokes 1/4-1/2 pack/day, which isn't that much)
  9. yea, I'm sure pharmaceutical companies hate it even more. Its cutting into thier 'quite smoking aids' profits. I quit cold turkey about 3 years ago for 3 months before starting agian. I did buy some nicotine gum, but didn't really use it because, didn't really help, and it was more expensive than cigs. I know for a fact e-cigs will alow me to quit smoking, then, if I want to, I can evetually quit vaping much easier by adjusting the nicotine levels. (FYI, I'm a newbie, been vaping for only 3 days, was 1-1/2 pack a day. In the 3-days of vaping only had about 10 total cigs, and plan on being smoke free in a couple more days)
  10. Along these lines. The tobacco companies need to adapt to ever changing times, just like all other companies. I mean the USPS is adjusting because of email. But since its government, it only took them 10+ years, lol. Tobacco companies need to embrace change and not fight it. Once they come out with their own version of the e-cig, you know all of a sudden it will be published by them that e-cigs are a safe alternative. Of course I kind of hope that doesn't happen, because once it does, juice will be regulated, and taxed, and prices will go way up. But within the next few years it will happen, I'm sure..
  11. I apologize if this question has been asked before, or somewhere else in the forum, or posted in the wrong place, but I didn’t find it. I’m sure is a common question. I’m/was a pack to pack and a half day smoker of Mrb. Ultra-lights. I’ve been vaping for 3 days now, and cut way back, and prolly only had 10 total cigs in the last 3 days. Plan on being smoke free very soon. Vaping ~ 2ml of 18mg nic juice/day. Is there a ratio, or formula to compare nicotine amounts in e-juice vs regular cigarettes? How much nicotine is in a normal pack of cigs? I assume it don’t matter much on brand or reg/light/ultra-light because that’s just flavor. If someone said 1ml 30mg = 1 cig pack, or something like that, that I can compare how much nicotine I’m getting now, and eventually lowering the nicotine levels in my juice until I get down to 0mg juice. But until I get to 0 mg juice, I can think to my self, kewl, I’m down to 10 cigs equivalent, then 5, etc… If there is the exact same topic somewhere else, just post the link, and thats kewl. Thanks.
  12. Uhhh, I would like to comment about the fridge storage. Everyone here says you shouldn't, BUT the juice I buy. right here at forevervapor, it says on the label, and I quote, "Keep in a cool, dark place or in the refrigerator for extended life." juice is cheep. Buy lots of bottles, and keep some at home, and some at work. Then you will always have some. If you are pressed about keeping some in your car, for like a road trip or something, get a small personal cooler, and put a couple of those freezer packs in with them to keep cool. I don't think I would put in ice though, prolly to cold. I'm sure extream cold/freezing could be as bad as heat, but thats just a guess.
  13. As we all know, it all comes down to $$$. If the government is not getting thier share, then they will do everything they can to say its dangerous, or ban it or whatever. You got the expensive and powerful lobiest from the tabacco comanpies in washington as driving force. Tabacco companies don't want thier profits cut in to. Is funny, they says e-cigs are dangerous, and have chemicals, etc..... but they never compare them to analogs... Because they know there is no comparison, hahaha. Obama is a smoker. Even if he says he's quitting, he still sneeks one in everyonce in a while. Imagine what would happen if he started vaping, and word got out about it.. Wow..
  14. Thanks for that reply Troopx, exactly what I was looking for. So I take it LR's will go through a battery faster too? When you say 20%, what does that mean? The strength? I order and use 18mg instead of 24. Is that what you mean or is 20% something totally different?
  15. Bruno, is the atty well used when this happens? You can always try sucking water up through the atty as shown in that video of Vicki's kitchen on sunday morning. But don't take my word for it, I'm a newbie.. I know for my DOA atty, i get nuttin. Short of taking it apart I tried everything. I prolly going to take it apart soon because I can't screw it up worse, and it would be a good atty to practice on.
  16. I just figured out my first issue. The main problem I was having is that I did not insert the tank all the way. I put it in still it stoped, and the directions told me not to force it. But it was still 2-3mm away from being flush. So I slowly twisted it and pushed down more unit the 'ledge' of the tank was flush with atty. So I tested and have 2 good working attys. However my 3rd atty is still cloged or something. I get zero air pass through. Its like sucking on my finger, lol, but if I remove the atty and blow into it, air does pass through. I guess thats air passing around the wick/piercing tube portion? I would still like peoples opinions on the other questions. Thanks.
  17. So I'm brand new to vaporing. Order a eGo-T, came in today. Battery is charged. Got an extra battery, atty, and plenty of liquid. I read alot of posts, watched some videos, and I think I'm good to go, but think I may have some problems. With the advice of some posters, soaked the attys in hot water from the start and rinsed out that oily stuff that was in the new atty. I assume that the primer? One of the attys seems great. Good liquid taste, good vapor. Another atty can't get nothing. Feels like I'm sucking through a closed straw. I tried putting a small needle in to open it up but no luck. Am i just SOL for this one? The 3rd atty, I get vapor, but no liquid taste, and tastes burnt. So do I have 2 DOA attys? Anything I can try? Remember these are brand new, they have been rinsed and blown out a few times. Also is there a proper way to vapor for better taste/vapor/extend life of atty? I mean, should I take a long hit, then wait a few seconds before taking another hit? With the tank system, do you need to wait between hits to get the liquid on the coils? If I hold down the button, and take 3-4 small quick hits in succession, does the liquid not get on the coils? Also, What exactly does a LR atty do. I assume that means Low Resistance. So does it allow for a easier or better or stronger hit? Lastly, what are peoples opinions on PG vs LG liquid? I ordered PG. Does one have more flavor over another? One last longer, or thinner or thicker? Thanks all in advance.
