Ghost1911 Posted April 11, 2016 Share Posted April 11, 2016 Alright so I got a 0.5 ohm eGo ONE tank with kanthal coils and ninja sauce dim mak on a guardian 3 with a samsung 25r battery. I am getting a burnt taste even after letting the cotton soak a bit. My thing is when I tried it at the store their pens made this taste amazing but now that I try it on my set up above, it is tasting burnt. I tried it on another friends and it also had the burnt taste. Someone got a reason why it is tasting burnt? im completely new to vaping so go easy on me. Compenstine Posted April 12, 2016 Share Posted April 12, 2016 I have the EGo One on my Evic. I run Titanium coils at 240-250 Degrees F and have had no dry hits. As FXRich said I would also say your getting dry hits from to high of VG. Once you burn a coil you need to replace it and your juice or it will continue to taste burnt. Like Comp said, if your juice has too high VG content, it could be that your wick couldn't absorb it fast enough and the coil fried the wick. I'd go with the "change to new coil, dump old juice out, clean out tank, fill with new juice, wait 10 minutes or more for wick to soak through, then vape" route myself.
