Patricia Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 When I started vaping over a year ago I bought one KPT 1. Many other atomizers, 2 Viva Nova's and 4 KPT 2's. I've been using my KPT 1 again and the bottom metal piece that goes around the glass is loose and will not tighten up. The top metal piece with the drip tip on it is on real good and wont move so I'm thinking that the KPT1 is not like the KPT 2 in that it cannot be taken apart to replace the glass. Is there any way to fix it or is it time to toss it? I have many different colored replacement glass but I don't think they will help since the top part does not come off.

Earthling789 Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 (edited) Yeah, it's toast. The KPT 1 used glue to put them together. Once the KPT 1 dies, you're better off tossing it. Starting with the KPT2, Kanger ProTanks are fully capable of dis-assembly and replacement of glass, o-rings, etc. Edited May 27, 2014 by Earthling789 mvince201 and Mtdobies 2
