All they seem to put out these days are heavy on the gore and weak in the story line. A good horror movie does not require all the blood and guts. I have not seen the conjuring yet but I hear it is good. If you like a good story line with out the gore try Shiver - not the US one that came out in 2012 but the Spanish one http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0896927/ That is if you can handle sub titles I know some people wont do sub titles... Sometimes when they get carried away with sequels they tend to suck REC2 is as good as the first one. maybe better because the same story continues. i don't know how REC3 is but I've heard that is not OK. I sat through the whole movie giggling with my hubby and talking about how true it is.
