  1. I bought a Megaladon and it came with 2 unprotected 18650s. They work great but I was concerned about a failure. I was making a juice order from Juicy Vapor and saw that they had a good deal on protected batteries. I bought 2 of them and they work great. They last all day(or sometimes 2 days) and have the extra security of a protection circuit.
  2. Throw the tank away and get some LR cartos. Once I finally bought some, I found heaven. Use the condom fill up method and enjoy. Install a nice drip tip and you are good to go.
  3. So because you think VV is what you would like, anything else is a waste? Good research, the whole non VV ecig market is a waste, c'mon. Really? VV is great for those who want it. For many people, myself included, VV is a waste. I have a "sweet spot", its LR cartos or attys and a huge 3.7v battery powered mod. Guess what? simple mods are great because they dont crap out. No electronics to die, just a simple switch. If you think VV is great, cool. That does not equate to calling a great product a waste. Good luck when you actually get a mod, I hope you get one that does not fail and provides you with the vape you need. I'll stick with fun, simple mods. Somehow no matter what I do to them, they just plain work.
  4. Looks to be a waste? Based on what? Do you own one? For the money its a great mod. I have one and use it more than any other mod I have.(and I have lots of them). I have not heard any actual Don owner who is not pleased with theirs. With the new top it will work with all the new do-dads out there. Its not that much $, its feels great in the hand, very simple/sturdy switch, works with almost any mod battery made. What appears to be bad about it?
  5. I dont know, but you can use dual coil cartos on it! LOL
  6. So I finaly ordered a package of these to see what all the fuss was about. They work great! I have used them at 3.7v on an eGo, also on my Don. I started to use them at 6v on my Prodigy V3. They work great at HV, but suck the life out the batteries!
  7. TSAs website states you must carry on your lithium batteries. I just flew to Florida and then back home with 2 eGos, 2 Rivas a Tekk mod, and a Don. I had all my juice in my ziplock bag. I put all my spare batteries in small baggies. The screeners always looked at my bag for a few seconds, then sent them on. I can niether confirm nor denie vaping on the plane.
  8. Very strange, I only use LR attys and cartos on my eGo and Riva batteries. Never had any problems. I cant use anything but LR at 3.7v anymore.
  9. Same here, eGo is great. I have been on LR and HV cartos for about 3 weeks. I love them! I have only vaped on attys when trying some new juice. Since I have narrowed my search for an all day vape, I have been stuck on cartos. As far as them being disposable, I have only tossed one and that was a HV one I used at 6v. Since I started using cartos, I have been able to leave my "kit" at home. I used to carry alot of crap around with me. Now I can go out with one mod and a 900mah eGo and 2 extra loaded cartos. Its been a great system so far.
  10. I just went through TSA screening twice with a bag(OK its a murse) full of PVs and juice. I did alot of reading of TSA rules before I tried it. TSAs website says batteries should be on your carry on and not in your checked bag. I had my quart bag full of juice. I took the batteries out of my mods and put them in small baggys. I have a eGo pouch with two eGo batteries, 10 cartos and 5 attys. I took a Prodigy, Don, and a Tekk mod. Although I got through OK, both times the screener looked at my bag for a bit longer than other bags.
  11. HR attys and cartos are for high voltage applications. 5v, 6v and 7.4. My 6v mod dries a standard atty in half a puff. I run 4.5 ohm cartos and they vape like heaven! LR stuff is all I run at 3.7v. Come to think of it, I dont ven use standard attys anymore. LR, I get them as low as I can, 1.5 ohm mostly. HR or HV 4.5-5ohm.
  12. Osama bin Laden is dead. Shot in the head!
  13. I know! I ordered 5 18ml bottles, figuring that would hold me over for my vacation. I used 25% on the first 2 days! So I made a double order. I'm having fun, the HV stuff goes through the juice for sure!
  14. My third order from Juicy Vapor(I know, I vape WAY too much) is inbound. The turn around time has been cut way down. So now not only do they make great juice, its made and shipped super fast.
  15. You really cant go wrong on a tube mod with a 18650 battery. You can get them with 2600mah!
  16. I have a Megaladon, lots of battery options. Big, small, 3.7v,6v, 7.4v. I run 18650s. Lots of Vape time. And it looks and feels great in the hand. The switch works awesome. You cant really beat a eGo with 900, 1000, or 1100mah. You can get a kit with 2 batteries pretty cheap. I also have a prodigy V3. Right now only running at 6v. My 3.7v batteries have not showed up. I like it, but its kind of heavy being SS. Very good looking and great switch. I am replacing my eGos with an Icon. I love shinny stuff! Really, its about what you want out of it. Most of them out there are very good. I want a bottom switch and any tube mod, but that just me. Lots of Silver Bullets out there, never heard anything bad about them. Check out the ecig mod database. Lots of info there.
  17. I just got my first bottom feeder. I bought an Old Goat Mods 3.7v because its a great value and has excellent reviews. I am sold on them. I will be buying a Monkeyboxx or ali'i(sp?) for at home. Maybe a Reos mod for on the go. I cant believe how small it is. Short build time and great price. Plus my wife thinks it "cute". If you are a dripper you will love a feeder. Check out Old Goat Mods or if you can get one a Reos Grand or mini.
  18. I need one of those to vape my Juicy Vapor Tigers Blood, LOL
  19. HV attys are what you need! I had zero luck at 6v until I got a couple packs of HV cartos from GP. Now I love it!
  20. You are right. I think I'm going to keep my OG for fruit/candy flavors. They work great. Still playing around with attys and cartos to find what works bet for me.
  21. Finally got my Old Goat Mods 3.7v Bottomfeeder! I've got it yesterday. I cant believe how small it is! Its works great. I've been using a Joye 510 LR on it. I have one protected and one IMR batteries. I cant tell the difference between the 2 when vaping. The switch is very light. I am not sure of propper technique yet. I seem to hold it in my left hand and activate the switch with my left ring finger. Then sqeeze the bottle with ring finger and thumb. I love this hobby!
  22. Yep, cant beat the price. Super fast mixing and shipping. Flavor was OK, nothing special. Some of the juice has a strange "extra" taste. Some have described as chemicaly? At first I did not like any of it, it has gotten better as it sits. Maybe it will be good after a week or so.
