  1. Hello and welcome to the forum!!!

I don't have that mod so most of the questions, I can't answer.  I lieu of being able to answer, here is a review by a very good reviewer that usually does a good job of going through the menus:

A couple of points I can address.

Yes, you should be able to find a concentration of nicotine that will satisfy the urge.  Juices come in different strengths of nicotine and you will have to try a few different strengths to find the right one.  There are also two types of nicotine.  Standard and Salts.  Salts are less abrasive although if part of your enjoyment from smoking is the throat sensation, salts may not suffice.

The actuator you are referring to, I believe, would be the coil.  That is actually an encased coil of wire or mesh that heats up with power applied.  A lot like an electric toaster.

Wattage applied is totally up to you.  Start low and work up.  Find a sweet spot and enjoy.  Recommended power levels are very subjective and definitely not cast in stone.

Yes, there is a setting that will limit your puff length.  Personally, I have no use for that setting.  I puff between 2 and three seconds, no need for a limit.

Lol, the puff counter.  I like a puff counter only because I do vape reviews and like to be able to tell folks approximately how many vapes they can expect off of a single or single set of batteries.  It can also be nice to compare different batteries.  Beyond that it is pretty useless for me.

Sorry, can't help on the vape shop.  Love your state.  Ben through it a few times biking (motorized like type).  Got some wonderful seafood there.

@Walt nice review man! I'm looking forward to it getting here!! Good to see ya'll I stop by when I can life is pretty busy.

Thanks!  Good to see you posting.  It's been a minute.  I hope it's all a good "busy".  It's a durable mod for sure.  Love it for working outside.  No worries!

Getting used to the nic salts took a little time, I've taken to adding a 3 nic custard to the mixed berries eliquid to smooth it out even more. The nice thing is that I take a few hits and then I'm good for quite some time. No more being stuck chain vaping to feel satisfied.  :)

I do really like that idea.  Sitting at home, chain vaping, and getting a "constant drip" of nicotine is really enjoyable but when I'm doing things that's cumbersome.  I think I'll making a special batch maybe somewhere around 9mg and see if I can't find a spot that works.  The 12mg salt gave me a real strong nic buzz that was not pleasurable.  I have some 6mg standard that is doing pretty good and not too strong at all.  I would really like to find a concentration that would work for awhile and not buzz me too much.

With the world around us going nuts, I kind of like the pods that take me back to simpler times. No fussing with coils or settings, discrete housing, just take a new pod, some eliquid and a micro USB charger and I'm ready to go rather than USB charger, extra tank, eliquid, extra coils, tissues, and a few other things I need for my usual set up. I still use the iPower and Aspire Triton 2 at home but more often I use my GhoSTick for simplicity's sake. It's nice to have the option.  ;)

That all makes sense, especially the "world around us going nuts" part.  I find myself popping it into my shirt pocket when I leave the house.  The more I use it, the more I like it.  I may bond with it yet.

I’m fairly new to vaping. I’m very happy with my Alien Mod and baby beast tank at this point. But I’m sure I’ll be moving into builds in a short time. Can I still use my Alien MOd with a RDA/RTA atomizer? I think it’s about 220 Watts.

Yes you can!  Temperature control may be a little wonky but that's just Smok firmware.  In variable wattage mode it should be just fine.

  6. Here is one of the best descriptions I could find on the replacement coils:

    V8 RBA Head

    • 18mm Build Deck
    • Two-Post, Dual Terminal Design

    • 0.28ohm Fused Clapton Dual Coil rated for 50~140W

    V8 RBA-16 Head

    • Two-Post, Clamp-Style Mechanism
    • Turbo: 5.0T-X
    • 0.16ohm Fused Clapton Octuplet Coil rated for 40~100W

They make a ton of these things and other companies also make coils that are compatible.  Higher resistances will give you better battery life but possibly less vapor production.  Flavor is hit and miss and the best way to know is try a few.

    Good luck!!
