  1. I still eat mud I suppose lol. I guess what I'm trying to wrap my head around is this. Same mod same battery same tank. Generally speaking .4 coil... I crank up wattage and I get more vapor and flavor seems to weaken. I like the vapo at 40 watts like the lung feel flavor is ok but I chain vape lung hits and it gets hot quick. Turn down watts not so hot but weaker vapor and flavor is ok...different but ok. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Aww heck I reread got it backwards. Low ohms more vapor less flavor. High watts more vapor less flavor. With lower ohms you need less wattage for similar vapor and flavor? But possibly a cooler vapor? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Honestly that was exactly what I was wanting to know. You summed it up if I read it right. People go with lower resistance to get better flavor. They crank up the wattage for vapor production. Lower ohms more flavor Higher wattage more cloud So all of these high wattage mods. They want big cloud with big flavor? Now I'm carrying a vapor flask 150w and I couldn't imagine pushing it that high nor have I seen coils that high. How ever I am making an assumption here they this is to increase the available overhead so to speak? If I have a 150w capable device and only running at 40w then theoretically I am only pushing it less that 50% of its ability? If I am on track here then knowing I am not really pushing it then I would be well suited with a sub 100 watt mod? It makes me think of driving a Ferrari only in the school zones. I may be able to go 150 mph but it's not likely. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  6. I'm perfectly fine with that.. glad ya asked ! Sometimes I ramble on and I know what I want to ask but finding the correct way to phrase can be a challenge. Makes googling things exciting! For that reason I generally do t belong to many groups and end up lurking more than talking. But heck I'm so interested and confused. I guess I have always vape the same and now I want to broaden my knowledge. I have a hard time remembering some stuff but I'm trying. I started like 2 years ago with a hand me down from a friend. He was like here use this and do that and I guess I learned this is just how it is. But now I'm experiencing and trying different things and getting more confused. It hit me the other day when buying coils for my baby beast. The gal at the shop was like what resistance ya want? My response is uhhhhhhhhhhhhh I dunno. Gimme 3 of what ya got because I can't remember what I have now or what I liked. So it made me think I need to get basic. And figure everything out from the start. Odd thing is I am sitting here looking at 3 different mods and 5 different tanks on my desk I've tried some different things but my list of what I like is way shorter of what I didn't like. I think. I'm going to step into this almost question by question because information overload if I ask to many at once So I look up information on coils. All given for the same tank what type of difference should I see with the different resistances? Right now I have a couple baby beasts and the current is .4 coils. What should I expect for higher and lower? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. Perhaps it's me but I find the more I read the more confusing vaping gets. I have been doing this a couple of years now and I am finding what I thought I knew I'm not sure what I know? [emoji848] most of what I am finding out there is in my opinion outdated information that hasn't kept up with the technology. Any recommendations on sources for the basics or someone very patient to make some basic things make sense to my simple mind? Maybe someone knowledgeable that would entertain pms on a question and answer base or here in the thread. I have spent the last few days just muddying up already murky water in my search for knowledge of vaping. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. And I stepped away and they are now out of stock on the v5 just my luck lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Ooo Walt I have been wanting to pull the trigger on making my own juices I do t know what my hold up is Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. My current setup is a vapor flask 150w with a baby beast tank on top. I haven't decided which coil I prefer as they all seem the same to me however I am currently running the quad coil .4 at 42 watts Mainly just vape for flavor and nic. This is my mobile setup I take to work and driving around. Typically vape the VT green apple, pancake man or a Juice for the Masses grape apple 80/20 I get locally. Now for bumming around the house watching tv I feel like I would be interested in getting started with a dropper because I prefer the flavor of clean wicking. I messed around with rewicking prebuilt coils on my cleito and kanger but was hit and miss in putting it back together successfully without tweaking out the wire. I had about a 50% rate of getting it to work or throwing it away. I figured I would get a tool set with all I needed and move on to the RDA. I got the coil master after watching a lot of reviews and ended up with their V2 kit. So here I am looking for something that I can rebuild/wick without creating too much frustration. Not looking into the fancy klapton twisted wire fancy this and that. Something more along a single or dual coil setup. I am wondering about trying SS to make use of the temp settings on my vapor flask. The 22mm sizeof the baby beast sits well but a 24mm wouldn't break my heart but I'd prefer the 22mm I think. I almost bought a Tsunami at the local B&M but the price was double what I remember VT having it for and just figured I would hold off until I flushed out my questions and got advice. Generally I'm not a chatter in those shops I just get what I need and leave. Any help is appreciated. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. I can't imagine what the tolerance on these little parts would be. Talk about splitting hairs on pass or fail. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. Just so everyone knows this wasn't anything Vapor talk did wrong . Everything was packaged well it was the dropper from the manufacture that was off centered and would not seal properly. So when it was laid on its side in shipping it leaked all out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I sent hopefully it finds you Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. @Christopher did you get a chance to look? I did not receive any response or anything Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Chris I sent you a pm regarding my order if you get a chance to read Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Went with you guys suggestions and went ahead and ordered the flask mod with a couple of those mxjo batteries. Hopefully they will work well in that mod. Also got the baby beast tank based off the video review from Adversarious1 with some of the v8 coils. I will just try a new tank and see if it gets me where I want. I can see down the road if I really want to get into temp control. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. Now I remember I didn't like the kanger tank because of the airflow was too restrictive Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. The leaking isn't all the time which confuses me it's random. Not always with a full tank not after filling. It will just be sitting there not being used and I will see a trail of juice and the. It's all over my hands on my phone on my iPad on my pants. I don't remember what I liked or disliked about my Triton tank or the one that came with the sub box. When the cleito came out I got it just because it was new. I dislike how I have to drain the tank to change coils. Like I said I like the pancake man right now but it doesn't say what the pg/vg ratio is so I don't know. I definitely prefer the sweets. I wish I could find something that doesn't dehydrate me however. I drink so much water and constantly thirsty and dry mouth since the switch from analog. Even been tested for diabetes because of the thirst. I was looking at the TFV8 tank but it says mouth to lung and I prefer direct lung. I like how it looks to fill. A lot of the jibber jabber confuses me so I look for key phrases such as that. Same for the Nautilus. It usually just frustrates me and I don't buy anything because I'm afraid of getting something that doesn't work for me. I only thought a tc setup to keep the vape cooler because like I said this tends to run hot at times. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  19. Thank you for the reply. I don't feel the setup is bad per say either but I am not opposed to something new and retiring this to a backup. I have looked for missing rings or nicks and don't see anything. When I remove my tank it isn't uncommon to see some juice in the connector either and I clean it out with a q tip. Like I said a cooler running setup would be preferred because as I vape it kind of burns the roof of my mouth around the 4th pull. I didn't know if maybe a temp control setup. I could alter how I vape but I thought about maybe tuning my setup would be better to changing my style. There is so much information out there my head spins and I get confused. I used the RTA setup and was cleaning the coils and putting new cotton in for a while but got tired of the weekly routine and went back to drop in coils. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. Hi all. Been vaping about 2 years and currently using a kanger sub box mini with an aspire cleito tank with .4 coils. I like the cloud and feel of 40 watts. I have tried turning the wattage down but the vapor production I don't care for. I'm more of a set it and forget it type as I don't care for all the tinkering. However I feel like a change is in order. I have fell in love with Pancake man at 6mg level. I'm looking for either a new setup or just new tank. I want to maintain the flavor and cloud level I have now but however I am looking for a cooler vape. I tend to take 4 or 6 big lung hits and the setup gets real hot. Also this juice seems to gunk up the coil quickly. I don't want to have to change them out every 3 days. My tank seems to leak through the air holes randomly which is one reason I'm considering a change as i hate driving down the road to find juice all over my hands. So I guess I am asking for a setup similar cloud, same or improved flavor, cooler vape, easy fill tank simple maintenance, not changing coils every 3 days maybe better batter life. Any good suggestions or am I chasing a myth that doesn't exist? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
