  1. I started this thread for all us chocoholics to share.I have encountered to favorites!cocoa by chocolatier, and death by chocolate by virgin vapor. Cocoa is dark chocolate and when heated is just like ghiardelli dark chocolate hot cocoa, but a little sweeter,in wattage mode it tastes like a dark chocolate tootsie roll.death by chocolate in wattage mode is like eating a 70percent dark cocoa bar, when you heat it, tastes just like a hersheys special dark.interested to see what you leave here....I love chocolate! !!!

  2. Well I need one of those!I am currently using the nitecored4 digicharger. It takes roughly four hours to charge my three batts for the rx200.all three were gifted ,so I am not about to complain, lol!I feel like my batt charger is like a baby carriage saftey wise, before I got it I was deathly afraid of chargers!I still don't leave it unattended, but at least I feel safe, haha.how fast is that efest?

  3. Well folks, problem sloved!I'm going to use such advanced terms haha.I figured it might be a connection problem so I unscrewed the part of the deck the coil screws in to,from the part that screws the tank to the mod, sure enough,it was dirty!cleaned it up real good, put it back together, and I have not had that problem since, how could i have forgotten that,I wonder?I am usually OCD on cleaning my tanks connections, ect.I guess everybody's brain turns to cream cheese sometimes?had not cleaned that part since I got it.I usually give everything a once over straight out of the box, lol.

I've ran the 0.15 Ohm Ni200 coils on my Subtank mini and Toptank mini without issue of heating up.  I did find my juice preferred around 390-deg, so it's not far from your juice, but even juices that like 450-deg, there was no heating-up of the mod or tank.  I've not tried the SS coils (with pink o-rings), but run 1.2 Ohm Nichrome without ANY issues, even running higher Wattages from my single-18650 mods.

I'm not sure why it's getting hot... and I'm assuming your mod is getting hot, which is a cause for concern... the RX200 shouldn't get hot unless you're running max wattage or really high amps (low ohm coil), and even then, warm would be how I'd describe it.  Could your batteries be at the end of their life, or perhaps not genuine name-brand batteries??  Bad batteries would explain more, than an issue with the tank or coil, but then again... strange things happen :)

Maybe the batteries need replacing, but they are genuine samsung,I looked them up,he runs the same ones in his mods with no problem as well.I will buy new batteries, but as you know the istick has an internal batt,so idk,I'll replace them, thanks;)I've tried the 1.8 ohm horizontal and hated them.but i will pick up suggested batts, and try, try again.

  5. Well,I have had it a few months, and I am very pleased with the vapor production all around,I run it with either nickel or stainless coils.there are some things I have noted, however.it runs excellent in watt mode on all my mods (rx200,istick 40 watt tc,subvod, subvod mega tc)while it is top notch in flavor and vapor production,I have noticed it runs a bit hot compared to other tanks I have used.I tend to vape at about 40 watts, and occasionally I run into it over heating my mods quickly in both wattage and temp modes,I have this problem more with the rx200,and I figured it was because this thing is a beast and I am using a low wattage tank.well, today I ran it in tc mode with the kanger ni200 ..15 ohm coil in my istick, just to test.sure enough,it ran very hot and temp control flashed after three draws on my mod. There is no need to crank up the temp on this one!however when I lowered the temp too much,I got nothing but dry hits.of course, I let it rest and made sure the coil was room temp when I tried again.I found a happy medium finally at 380 degrees on my istick.but when I run it in wattage mode on either the istick or rx200 even after lowering my desired wattage,it still ran hot on both mods.not as hot on the istick ,but still a bit hot,I could feel it getting warm in my hands.I have had no issues on the subvod or subvod mega tc.I am using the rba,by the way.have any of you ran into this with this tank?I have noticed it does this with juices that are not thick 50/50 pg/vg.when I use thicker juices,it gets worse.luckily I am not pg sensitive like I thought, just had a bad reaction to pg  in a particular juice.happy vaping every one! P.s.I am being gifted a crown for the rx200,by the same kind soul who gifted me the mod, batteries, and the nitecored4 digicharger. ...some people are just kind!!-

Yeah.  Im going to try some of those out.  I also bought the ceramic ones for giggles because I've never tried them and I always get curious when some peopke hate them and some people love them.

So far,I really love them!top notch flavor for sure, and they are the best tc coils I have used so far,and I was in love with the nickel,I still use nickel,as my istick does not support stainless In tc mode, but that's only if I'm charging batteries for my rx200,haha I love that mod,I do!

    http://www.vaporsolo.com/Kangertech-SSOCC-Coil-5-Pcs-Pack-p10431.html

Do you mean this pack of Kanger SSOCC Coils? It has the red ring for the Nichrome wire, but I don't think it can be fit to rx200.

No the link I posted was for the stainless coils, the ones with the pink ring, they have stainless wire,I got them from vapor authority, they are compatible:)and I couldn't be happier with my rx200,the coils,or vapor authority!

  8. I've been searching all morning, and I can't seem to find them anywhere. I'm talking about the ones with the pink ring, the red ones,as we know have a nichrome wire,I'm looking for the ones with the stainless wire, I was just gifted an rx200,it would b e nice to be able to try it's temp control.thanks in advance!btw,I'm not pushing forty watts with this thing until I get a higher wattage tank ,that's in the works.

  9. It does look like it's got a way to go,I've searched several different websites and forums.they are compatible withhttp://www.myvaporstore.com/Kangertech-Ceramic-Coils-SSOCC-p/krst-al.htm from what I've read on the forums, there is a leaking issue,do to the cotton wearing out before you notice, and the coil getting flooded with juice, because the cotton is very thick, causing wicking issues.I have also read that there is a leaking issue due to weak o rings at the base of the coil.the wire is kanthal,so it is not tc.however, I read that when you replace the o rings, the leaking issue gets better. Idk,it will take alot more information for me to try them, even though they are less expensive than our usual coils.

  10. Thanks!I watched the video,am now going to do some digging, and see if they can be run on a mod in wattage mode, but I know kanger now makes ceramic coils,my vape shop doesn't carry nickel, but said they did carry the ceramic,so I'm curious if kanger made a specific tank for them.so I'm going to do some digging,I'll post what I find, for others of you that are curious.

  11. Vanilla custard by steel city vapes,i am positively addicted to this stuff!i so wish they would go online with their juice!I also have their Kahluah and cream, delish!they have the best house juice I've ever had,and great prices.but they don't know jack about gear or coils,so the only business they get from me is juice!

  12. I too have allergies...and i live in the south,so in shory, ugh!i take zyrtec on a daily basis,my allergies have not improved, ive been vaping two years.but i did notice something,my allergy medicine started to seriously dry me out.as we know vaping can dehydrate you.I drink nothing but one cup of decaff coffee, and water the rest of the day.my doc suggested mio,it is like gatorade, but without the calories and comes in a convenient squirt bottle, you just add it to your water,in addition to getting your electrolytes,it is packed with b vitamins,I am not dryed out anymore, I sub ohm 12 mg daily, but reduce the nic at night.when the pollen is super bad,I do suffer but it is tolerable with the zyrtec. Another thing I have noticed allergy wise,if you have pets or dust allergies is vacuuming the house everyday with a good vacuum.my mom is a smoker, and refuses to vape and this helps her.

    So...

I've decided to brave the cruel cold world and I'm traveling to France (no offense, I just don't want to get blown up or run over).  But I've decided I don't want to pack batteries and chargers and rebuilding materials,  etc.

Since I'm feeling a little flush (money to burn!, Tam), I'm looking in to buying a couple starter kits for my wife and I.  I don't want anything bulky, I don't want to carry around a boat anchor of a mod or complicated tanks.  Frankly, vaping wont be a high priority and I'm far enough along on my journey away from smoking and nicotine that I'm sure I can survive a couple of weeks with just some moderate chooching here and there.  I'll be out and about and traveling and I wamt to keep it very simple.

I want internal batteries, a modest tank but nothing too whimpy, preferably round and no bigger than a spinner 2 or similar size - Ego One might be too big but I might get greedy and succumb - I don't know.

I'm looking at something like the ijust2 or the Subvod. You know what I mean.  Heck, I'm even open to ressurecting my T2s and egos.  I will trade off battery size for small capacity.

P.S. would you guys disown me if I sat in a French cafe and smoked a French cigarette?  Sounds incredible, doesn't it?  Ahh...a man can dream, can't he? :D

    Decisiins, decisions....

Bebop,I've found something that might interest you. www.bedbathandbeyond.com it is an electronics charger, which appears to be exactly the same size of a subvod but Is 2600mah all you need is a charging cable, and it is rechargeable and also doubles as a flashlight.so while you're out and about on your vacation and need a charge suddenly, you're set without carrying a bunch of stuff. It is 9.99$ ,so if you have a local bed bath and beyond, you might consider picking one up.I hope you have a ton of fun!

  14. If the rubber does not work alone, and sometimes it didn't for me take the rubber, wrap it around so you don't damage your tank or mod,and grab some needlenose pliers or a very small monkey wrench.but be sure you put something under it so you don't damage it, then you'll really be in a fix!make sure you turn it upside down and you are grasping the bottom of the tank and not the mod itself or the glass.works everytime for me.good luck!

  15. All this talk is making me want to diy more than ever,I have dabbled, when I was at zero nic,now I'm at twelve haha.I mix flavors all the time ,but just in my tank,if I like it enough,I will combine them, and I always have vg on hand.I see this maybe going somewhere, thanks!!

  16. You're so very kind, earthling.more vapers need to look out for each other like that!and you gave away an unopened tank!i wish you would have been my family member when my tank crisis hit!luckily i had my nebox with one built in!my tank was offered back to me,but I wouldn't take it and leave someone with a bad one when my nebox is fine, and not leaking!kudos to you!

I have an istick 40 watt tc,i have never had a problem with the coil resistance, but i do know you have to crank the temp up to about 450 to even get a decent draw, however that is not the temperature you are actually vaping at on this mod,if you can, glance down at the display when you take a draw, you are actually vaping around say 280-300 degrees depending, and yo u can not fix the wattage it is supposedly 'locked' at 40 watts, but again that is usually not what you are vaping at ,at 580 I pull about 29 watts usually, you can look at the display while you are taking a draw to know where you are at,or quickly press the fire button to look at the display if you can't see it while you are vaping.but lightly and quickly press it,so you don't dry burn.i hope i helped!

Regarding the coil I have always used kanger tanks and coils, when I use my topbox mini, and a ni200 .15 ohm coil,I usually get .19 ohms when it is locked.

  19. Well, this has happened to me quite a few times,so I thought I'd leave it here just in case someone needs it.you've just filled your nebox tank, and you get a reading of 9.99 ohms.take the coil out,hit the fire button once, replace your coil, hit the fire button once,it should read old load-,new load+,choose new load,if this does not work, put in a fresh coil, and it should show the same after hitting the fire button once,it sometimes does it automatically. I figured this out on my own, lol.Hopefully, none of you ever have this issue, but if you do there ya go.happy vaping!
