  1. Dumb question i know, but I am think of maybe trying dripping out but not really wanting to build or rebuild coils. I currently have Ego and IPOW batteries and EVOD and Protanks. What is the simplest, easiest to use (and not terribly expensive) way to get into dripping?
  2. I forget to mention all my tanks are single coil kanger
  3. I bought a 650mah IPOW battery because I like the idea of having the LCD display to show me the battery life. After getting it I realized the advantages of changing the wattage (it can go 3-5). I wanted a bigger battery life and saw they have a 1600mah IPOW 2. It has variable wattage of 3-15. My question is, why would I need up to 15 watts? The charts I see show optimal watts for 1.8 coils at about 3.2 and 3.0 coils at 4.7 Would it be dangerous to try it higher than 5? Would it mess my battery or coils up if I cranked it up to 15 with a 2.4 coil? I know this is basic, but I am new. Thanks for the help
  4. That is definitely a turn off, i think to lots of newbies. A few weeks before i started vaping i went into a local shop to look around and when i opened the door it was worse than walking in a Smokey bar. It was a dense cloud everywhere and had an unpleasant odour. Talking with the owner i asked him how busy they had been. He said not busy at all, just him and his brother most of the morning. It was a total turnoff. I figured what would the purpose of quitting cigarettes would be if that was what vaping was like. I eventually came around by reading some more online and have ordered all my stuff online. I really have no desire to go into a local store
  5. I am a noob, but have a question. Why would anyone "cloud chase"? What is the point? I am not sure what advantage blowing a lot of smoke really is. Isnt the point to find a satisfying taste (and nicotine intake if you are switching from tobacco)
  6. I am a new vaper and have a handful of clearomizers and it seems all are plastic (Kanger EVOD, Kanger Mini Protank 2, and clone min protank 2). Should i worry about leaving e juice in them. It seems i have read that some juices eat away or harm the plastic. Is this an immediate thing i would notice? Does it crack, start leaking, change colors? If it is a problem using these, how would i know? Thanks
  7. Grateful Dead "They’re not the best at what they do, they are the only ones who do what they do.” I am also a HUGE Todd Snider fan. Best live act around today. Also John Prine Robert Earl Keen Widespread Panic ABB CSN&Y Jimmy Buffett George Strait
  8. Ok i am a nood. 5 days no ciggerates and happy vaping with my EVOD 650. My set up seems to produce a very satisfying taste, throat hit, and vapor. The batteries seem to last over 2 days without needing a charge (smoked about 1/2 a pack a day) So here is my dumb noob question. What is sub ohm and why.is it dangerous? My starter kit came with 1.8 coils and i have ordered some 2.2 to see the diffetence But what is dangerous about the set up in the OP?
  9. I bought a few extra clearomizer (5 EVOD and Protank Mini 2) I also bought a sampler pack of different flavor juices. My plan is to keep each clearomizer filled with a different juice and periodically switch them out on one of my 3 batteries depending on my mood. Is there any reason why i can't keep a clearomizer stored with juice in it for an extended period of time? Also if i am not using one of my batteries do i need to leave it off the clearomizer or can i leave them connected for a period of time while not using? Last question. My batteries (EVOD 650) doesn't seem to have an auto cutoff. If i forget to cut it off my pressing it 5x will it hurt it overnight? I assume the auto cutoff is mainly to keep it from accidentally being pressed in my pocket but i wanted to double check. Thanks for you help, i know these are basic questions
  10. Thanks that helps alot. Are the dual coils much better than the single coils? Do they last longer? More vapor? Better taste
  11. Got my first vaping set up in n the mail today. It is an Kanger Tech Evod starter kit (2 complete units and 5 extra coils) After reading some more tonight i see that there is an Evod 2. Can my Evod use the coils that are for sale for the Evod 2? If not should i worry about them phasing out the coils for my Evod? Should i stock up just in case? Where can i buy coils for my original Evod at the best price? Also i was thinking of picking up a different set up mainly to have 3 different flavors going without refiling (regular tobacco, Menthol, and fruity). I like uniformity so it would be nice if the next one i get can take the same coils as my Evod? Are there any other brands that would use the same Coils? I like the options and price of the eGo V-V3? Sorry for all the questions. Any help would be appreciated. I basically need a rundown of how the replaceable coils work. Thanks
