  1. LOL, I can imagine with your schedules, and only two of you, it may be cheaper (and easier!) to eat out. lol In our house, it is me and hubby, our 5 kids ages 9 to 19, and my mom and step dad. So, yea, eating out is definitely not in the budget, lol. Geez when I type out how many people are in this house, its a wonder there is ever any food in the house! No wonder we are always broke. lol
  2. Its always amazing to me how much good food helps. I love to cook, and luckily for my family it is cheaper to cook from scratch, then to buy junk food, premade food, or eat out. LOL I think tomorrow I will be having hubby grill some chicken, since it is supposed to be sunny (and Football!) Yep, sounds like a plan to me....
  3. Ok, so since we don't have the money right now to buy replacement glass for hubby's Nautilus, I gave him mine. So, I will use my protank 2 (filled w/ my coffee juice), and the plastic tanks for now. Fingers crossed that no more vaping cautastrphes happen in the near future!!! Sheesh, what a day. On a good note, my sister realized that hubby was having a bad day, so she provided him with some tequila. (I don't drink anymore, so he's on his own there). He is currently in a much better mood! LOLOL I just sit here laughing at him and his silliness.... Oh, and I made a delicious dinner of pot roast and mashed potatoes and gravy, so everyone is full and happy. Its ended up being a good day.
  4. welcome! Glad you decided to join us, you will find lots of people here that can help with any and all questions that you have along the way! Jump right in!
  5. I have both. I love my Nautilus (not the mini) because A. it doesn't leak, B. it holds more liquid, and C. the coils don't seem to burn too quick. My Protank 2, well, at first it leaked all the time, but I read up on other peoples problems, adjusted the tank a bit, and ever since, no leaking (as long as you don't screw it in too tight to your battery. Now the Nautilus Mini, well that one is a bit of a problem child for me. Even though it is an adjustable airflow, it is really tight on the draw. The one setting that is the most open, makes my mini whistle. Kind of annoying. lol
  6. I got a Protank 2 as my first tank. I had used hubby's plastic tanks, and thought wow, this one will be awesome. But it flooded and spit juice up into my mouth. So I hated it. Started using hubby's plastic tanks again. (BCC Mega). Then got a Nautilus, which I loved, but gave it to my husband today when his broke. So I toyed with the Protank 2, and have been using it all day, and it works just fine! So I guess the moral of the story is, I don't have a worst tank yet. Guess I'm just too new to all this.
  7. lol thanks. ok, so the Nautilus replacement tank should work on the adjustable airflow tanks, right? Yep, I am new and I'm tired of buying the wrong parts. Oh, I forgot one detail of hubby's bad day. After he shattered his tank in the parking lot, he picked up all the pieces of glass so that no one ruined a tire. And yep, cut his thumb open. I think he should just go back to bed, its safer.
  8. The day started out well enough. Hubby and I took our 16 yr old to get his haircut. As we are getting out of the van, hubby somehow drops his vape out of his holster, and the Nautilus Adjustable Airflow tank shatters. Then, after the haircut, we go to get hubby his new shoes, he has been wearing the same pair for about 2 years. Yep, no shoes that fit the budget that fit his feet properly. Then we go to try a brick and mortar vape shop to see if they have a deal on a new tank. Door says they open at 11, its noon, and they are closed. So, now we came home. Defeated and hubby in a grizzly bear mood. So my question is this, is there any site that sells just the pyrex part of the tank, all the other pieces are fine, just need the pyrex glass part of the Nautilus Adjustable Airflow. I googled it, and came up with nothing... What a day. And its not even halfway over yet... Michelle
  9. wait, what? LOL Are you serious? You may be my best friend ever!
  10. Ok, so my current vape is an Evod Twist. I have one. (nope, no backup currently). Problem is it only lasts between 4 and 6 hours depending on how often I use it. I'm only 5 days analog free. Hubby was going to buy me something for our anniversary (19 years this past Monday), but I told him to wait. I knew I wanted him to buy me a back up device. Money is a big issue for us (5 kids, 4 of them teenagers). So, in the Vapor Talk store there are a few different devices. I'm trying to figure out, should I have him buy me another Evod Twist, or should I have him get me the Spinner 2? Or is there another device in that price range that would be better? He is a bit upset that I wouldn't let him buy me what he wanted to buy me, but I would rather he just get me what I need, and what I need right now is another battery so that my vaping actually works for what I need. I need to be done with analogs for real. I quit drinking 2 years ago, and analogs are my only remaining bad habit. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all! Michelle
  11. welcome!!! Fun place to get advice and some fun conversation!
  12. You know, I'm really new to vaping exclusively (only a few days), but over the past month, I have been cutting way back on analogs. I've been keeping track of my patterns when having an analog, and then creating a new pattern for vaping instead. For example, every morning, I would wake up, grab a cup of coffee and a smoke, and head outside to enjoy a few minutes of quiet before I wake up the kids. Now, I get up, grab a cup of coffee, and head to my bedroom for a few minutes of quiet and some vaping. Its totally a mental thing for me. I hope things have gotten better for you.
  13. Earthling, that has to be the nicest thing I've heard in awhile. Its good to look out for your friends.
  14. welcome! Sounds like you got a good starter kit, and believe me, the better your equipment is when you start, the better your chances are of sticking with it. LOL (my hubby got the great starter stuff, I got hand me downs, its taking me longer than its taking him...) Anyways, great bunch of people here, who really do answer any and all questions (I've been asking plenty...) Jump in, and have fun! Michelle
  15. welcome! I too am new to vaping. I started about a month ago, but officially quit cigarettes a few days ago. I use an evod twist battery with a Nautilus tank. I love all the juice choices. I did try the cigalikes a year ago, but it just wasn't for me. I'm so glad I tried again but with a battery and a tank. I love it!
  16. And the theme for this week seems to be "Have a backup!" I know for me personally, it is a pain. I only have one battery. It lasts about 6 hours of chain vaping (which I do all day long, since giving up analogs). This means that around 2 pm, My battery dies. Then for the rest of the day, it is "vape, plug in, vape, plug in". So yes, if you can afford to have a back up or six, do yourself a favor and get them! No use making your vape experience a stressful one. I do have to report, that so far so good. No analogs for me. I'm hanging in there.
  17. I have discovered that when I sample something in the store, they have me try it in a 0 or 3 mg. When I buy it, I buy it at around 18 mg, and the taste is totally changed. So now, I''m trying to figure out how to get them to let me sample at a higher strength!
  18. Mothers Milk is a vanilla cream that has a barely there hint of strawberry on the exhale. Its not too sweet, but goes fantastic with my morning coffee. ) Nice throat burn too for when I'm really wanting a cigarette.
  19. My morning vape of choice, I am using Choco Java from the VaporTalk store at 24 mg. Great throat hit, and goes perfect with my morning coffee. My other morning vape is Suicide Bunny's "Mothers Milk" at 18 mg.
  20. Well lets see... I'm using a Protank 2, which is single coil. All of my juices have been 50/50, but this juice that I'm burning through like crazy is 80/20. So going off of what I have learned here, the moral of the story is I am vaping more. lol (not surprising since I have completely cut out analogs...)
  21. That is so cool! I love it! I was so impressed that I had to haul my laptop through the house to show my husband. LOL Nicely done!
