  1. @FTJoe - lol @ hijacking, it actually is sort of related so I don't feel hijacked - getting down to 0mg's and still having good performance is something I'm interested in All the info coming in here, is excellent. My only issue now - is if i want to get the LR and HR versions of the 801/901's try along with my collection of 510's
  2. this is excellent! keep up the good work! gl converting your wife as well. happy vapin!
  3. I don't have much personal experience with the tea flavors. The two that I am aware of: Altsmoke's Black Tea - http://altsmoke.com/...d/blacktfj.html (havent tried this one yet) Nhaler also has a couple tea flavors IIRC. I've tried the Mint Black Tea from there - and it was alright. First bottle I got was awesome, second one was pretty average. YMMV. - http://shop.nhaler.c...sc?productId=36 If you find more, let us know!
  4. put in an order in for some adapters. It seems I'll just have to try both 801/901 styles - It would be nice to have the different attributes of each atty for different juices. Thanks, all. Your personal results have been most helpful @Brian - are you using the 750mah LiFePO4's?
  5. Howdy all, Just taking a quick survey of which atty everyone prefers for flavor. I'm currently a 510 type of guy, but all my buddies keep saying that the 801/901's have much better flavor. From those of you who have used both, is it a significant difference in flavor? I don't want to purchase all kinds of adapters and stuff just to try them out, so I'll trust everyones opinion Current setup is SB@3.7-LR510. I have the option to run it @6v. Thanks everyone
  6. lol, cant believe i just sat thru that whole thing - lots of epic moments tho. damn the spice. ftw.
  7. that is true, Vacker. I share the same sentiments there, hopefully this "stepping stone" doesn't go any further. This whole thing makes me want to

    Ejuice

I, like kitsune, started @18mg strength. IMO, its a good starting level. The longer you vape, the more you'll start to find the level thats right for you. As for what's equal to what - thats too much trouble. I bought my first e-cig based on the manufacturer saying that a cartridge equaled X cigarettes or 2 carts equaled a pack. Needless to say, I was quickly disappointed. In the beginning I used my e-cig like I smoked analogs. Used it only on breaks or when I stepped outside. I also tried to "count puffs" to make it equal to the amount of drags I took on an analog. This made it pretty easy for me to find if my e-juice was giving me the "fix". If I still had craving's, I tried a higher mg juice, or if I got a quick head rush or a nicotine headache - I'd back the mg's off. Nowadays - I use 24mg when I really have craving's or want a stronger throat hit. My "all day" juice is typically 16-18mg. At night, I back down to 6mg or just use a 0mg liquid. Hope you find what works best for you. If you have more questions, don't hesitate to ask! Also, Welcome to VaperTalk. Happy Vapin'
  9. When I first started and tried to spread the word, I was met with the same resistance - especially from the closer of folks (ie: Family, long time friends vs co-workers/acquaintances) As others have experienced, time is the best solution. The longer I was analog-free, the bigger the impact vaping and the e-cig started to have. Vape and they will come. Like snubber said, when they're ready they'll come asking - especially if they see your success with the e-cig. I've gotten about 3 or 4 of my closest friends to make the switch (15+ year smokers), and a couple more are definitely interested in trying it out. One way I got one buddy interested was straight up saying "hey, hit this thing and tell me what you think!" 5-6 puffs later, they were sold, lol. Good luck getting more converts!
  10. that could have saved a lot of my old co-workers my wrath. instead i took this approach ---> This is going on my phone as well, you never know when it might be useful. great find! haha
  11. @ Vacker1229 cinco de mayo must have done a number on them. Im sure a few called in with hangov.....i mean - called in a little " under the weather ".... I may be bitter - only because I have so much to do today, although a package with some vapin' goodies may arrive today. That might make it all better. But seriously - only 9, that's pathetic imo.
  12. Taste is very subjective. I would start by finding vendors that offer sampler packs and/or sample sizes, so you can try a variety of flavors. Some of my favorite juice now, I would have never discovered without the samplers. I know the VT Store has a great sample pack (although it shows it's out of stock atm). Also, Nhaler had quite a few flavors and offered sample sizes. As Sivlar suggested, I also have a vote for Rath Juice - they have some of the wildest flavors I've come across - Waffle, Blueberry Pancake, Mtn. Dew, etc...lot's to choose from! Also, as mentioned, DIY is also a great way to find some flavors you enjoy.
  13. I recently picked up a few of the Delrin tips, and they are excellent. I wish I had known about the Stainless Versions - would've gone nice with my SB. I've been dripping for as long as I can remember, and these make the experience that much better by making it a little more convenient. As for your question about needing a different type of atomizer, you don't. These are made to fit standard 510/801/901 atomizers. IMO, they were a little pricy, but all things considered, I found them to be a worthwhile purchase.
  14. Yes it absolutely will. Currently, that is the exact setup I've been using most recently (SB+LR 510 Atty @3.7v). I find it works pretty well - I think I might prefer this to using the SB @6v, but the jury is still out on that. As ROOR previously advised - make sure you use this exclusively at 3.7v.
