  1. Yeah uhhh, I was just.... testing you guys?
  2. Haha, fantastic story! I can relate with the "crack-pipe" comments, lol! You definitely came to the right place! Vape On Man!
  3. Extreme Targeted Marketing! I LoL'd
  4. Man, is this year flying by or what? Here it is, another Memorial Day Weekend observed! Open the pool, grab the beer, and fire up the BBQ! Anyone have anything good going on this weekend? I think the family and I are heading to Frankenmuth this weekend. They're having hot air balloons, dog shows/competitions, fireworks... should be fun.
  5. I actually had a friend give me a small bottle of VG and LorAnn BubbleGum flavor she had laying around. (Shes a pastry chef) Anyway, I used an online calculator and added a bit of Vodka with a few drops off 100mg nic, so it's not "truly" 100% vg, but it's fantastic! I'd like to try a 60/40 mix... soon enough!
  6. Well am I glad I posted the vid because I woulda never thought of switching the meter! I have never used the meter to test a battery before, just circuits and what not. I feel like a total noob! Thanks guys for pointing this out! Sheesh... LoL!
  7. For Mark My 1st vid, yay! lol
  8. I absolutely agree! This forum and its' members are top-notch! I'm really glad I come across you all!
  9. well, I just stuck it into an outlet after reading your reply, and it's reading 119.6(7)v so it seems to be working properly...
  10. Man that's a lotta info! Im going to have to read it a few time to get it to sink in! I do have a question for you electricians that I couldn't find the answer for, well, at least I couldn't make enough sence of it all to find my answer... probably more like it... Anyway, I decided to hook my eGo battery to a voltage meter because it seemed to be lacking a good hit, and I was curious as to what the volts had dropped to in order to prevent a good vape. So, with everything set, I clicked the button and it was reading 7.0 now I'm all confused! I thought it was a typical 3.7v device, why is it showing 7.0? I tested my spare battery that's been just sitting on the dresser all day and it read at 7.3v What gives? Shouldn't a 3.7v device battery read 3.7v fully charged?
  11. That's funny, I always teased my buddy for taking baths, he goes all out with oils and stuff. To each their own. Hey, ya have that baby yet?
  12. Just wondering if it would be a bad idea to post different vendors shipping costs. It's retarded how much time I spend tossing in a random cart item, then having to create a log-in/password, blah-blah-blah just to find out the shipping costs. It almost seems like a lot of vendors like to keep shipping costs "on the low down" and I don't want to step on anybody's toes either. I've seen costs range from "free" to $15! Of course my dumb- didn't take note of what vendors charge what for shipping which leads me to this post. Think it's possible to maybe start a "shipping cost" thread, or bad idea...? Probably not a big deal to most, but for those of you, like myself, who need to make every dollar stretch, I think this would help out and save a lotta time. Thanks in advance!
  13. I bought an eGo (Janty's Tornado) three weeks ago and haven't even thought of looking into anything else (with the exception of a pass-through for emergency sake). Like Snubber said, battery's good all day long! I plug it in at bed time and suck on that baby all day long with no problems. Good luck and Happy Vaping!
  14. Absolutely awesome! ...and inspiring! Grats to you!
  15. Awesome! Thank you guys for the feedback!
  16. Yeah, I found that out the hard way. When first checking e-cigs out, I finally convinced the wife to let me blow some money at the local smoke shop, and the device fell apart during the second day! Thats when I found this site, while surfing for info on "real" e-cigs... like the eGo! I'm sooo glad I did! I can hardly believe the difference between locally sold, big $$$ garbage and the much cheaper "Cadillacs" of e-cigs you can get online for half the cost! The local guys (around here anyway) only seem to carry the ones that look like a real cigarette and that seems to be the marketing ploy they stick with, but if you can get over that, you'll find much better quality stuff here! I'm planning on scooping up a pass-through so I can stop fearing the "day of the dead battery", LoL! Still gonna get some extra batteries, but for some reason, I think having a PT will better ease my mind! Welcome to VT and Happy Vaping!
  17. Wait, a usb battery pack? First I've heard of that one, I'll have to check that out. Is there a car lighter usb that ya can plug a PT into on the go? Damn, you just opened a new door of exploration for me, lol!
  18. I think it tastes a lot like an apple jolly-rancher.
  19. Okie, I think I'm following ya thus far, lol. I've only been into vaping for a few weeks, but being absolutely blown away by not wanting an analog ever since, I have found myself completely intrigued and wanting to learn everything I can! I'm going to have to read up on the different batteries, voltages and what not. Some of this sounds really foreign to me still.
  20. Does that mean that if the battery dies, the PT itself is useless until I replace the battery? And thanks guys for the responses!
  21. I'm wondering if anyone has ordered from this vendor or used this pass-through before? Probably going to try this one for my first pass-through but wondering how might the battery effect the experience? Most pass-through usually don't have a battery and directly go from atty to usb, yeah? I know it's only like $13, and most would just toss the money and find out, but I only get to spend like $25 every couple weeks on this stuff and would hate to blow it on a bum-deal. Think this is a safe buy? Thanks in advance! http://www.azsmokefree.com/inc/sdetail/3385
  22. "I have looked at several other forums but I think I found where I belong." Absolutely! These guys are incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and tentative. I'm proud to be a member of such an awesome community and I'm sure you'll find the same!
  23. Propylene glycol "The oral toxicity of propylene glycol is very low, and large quantities are required to cause perceptible health damage in humans. Serious toxicity generally occurs only at plasma concentrations over 1 g/L, which requires extremely high intake over a relatively short period of time." Taken from: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Propylene_glycol Lot of good info there
