  1. First of all some of the things you're looking for you may be able to find here in the Vapor Talk Store.
  2. A single drip is a small fraction of an actual milliliter. Some say an ml consists of 20 drops but I've found it's closer to 30. It really depends on how thick the liquid is. The cost of liquid varies. Most of us vape around 3ml/day. But I believe most of us smoked at least a pack a day; some as many as 2 or 3 packs/day. I vape around 3-4 ml's per day. The liquid I currently purchase is $10 for 12ml which puts out at around $2 to $3/day. I smoked 1 to 1 1/2 packs/day @ $4/pack so I'm guessing that if I smoked as much as I vape it would probably be around 2 packs or better per day which is something I couldn't physically do without feeling very ill. We do develop a different habit when vaping vs smoking. We do save money in the long run. But like cigarettes, vaping consists almost entirely of consumable products that eventually need to be replaced. The cost may be greater with each purchase but the use of those products spans much longer than the life of a pack or carton of cigs. I've been vaping since May and although I've bought a couple of extra batteries, I have yet to have to replace one. In this time I have purchased about a dozen atomizers and have only lost half of them (Yes! I was able to revitalize my attys - woohoo!). I do purchase juice regularly because obviously that's the most highly consumable part of vaping. Hope I helped rather than confuse. In either case, you're making a better choice for yourself and those around you by switching to vaping.
  3. Hodge .. blackberry & bubble gum *could* work together. FYI though .. just in case you haven't attempted the bubble gum yet it is a very strong flavor so tread cautiously.
  4. I agree with all the posters here. Liquid cannot be resold. Flavors can change and/or your tastes change. Adding some additional menthol may be the trick. You could also add some menthol or other flavoring (in very small increments) to your other liquids .. OR you could pass them in a PIF (pay it forward) fashion, barter or sell. There are so many options when it comes to vaping that it's very much about experimenting. Never buy large amounts of anything unless you've tried it before, including hardware. That's not to say the product isn't any good, but it may not be right for you. It can be frustrating from time to time but remember this .. you're not smoking anymore, or at least you've cut back and THAT is almost a miracle. Whatever little bits you spend sampling flavors you don't like will more than be made up for, monetarily and otherwise, when you do find what you do like and what works best for you. Ultimately it's a win/win situation but with hurdles along the way. Anything worth having is worth the effort, is it not? So if ever you have questions, concerns or anything else you need help with please don't hesitate to post. We're all here to help one another not only make the transition but to continue to be successful. I'd like to add that this site has the best group of people dedicated to one another that I've had the pleasure of participating in, benefiting from and contributing to. Good luck!
  5. Travis is correct. There is not a direct hole from the cavity of the cart to your mouth. Juice can leak into your mouth but it's small bits and it happens with repeated drawing off the cart. It does happen, but takes a little time for bits of the liquid as well as condensation to form or make it's way into those slits. Simply blow throw the mouthpiece end of the cart into a paper towel and that will clear the liquid out of those slots for a while without blowing liquid out of the reservoir. Blue foam is also my preferred filler for carts. It has large pores which hold the liquid well. The first fill, when the foam is dry, you may need to use a toothpick to finagle the liquid down in there a little bit more but generally after that first fill it's fairly easy to just drip/top off directly onto the foam and it will trickle down. The blue foam is more "plastic-ky" than the white fluval so it doesn't heat so easily from the temp of the atty/bridge; therefore when positioned in the cart correctly will not produced that melted fiber taste. No, you usually can't tell that the fiber is melted but it can heat warm enough that you can sometimes taste it.
  6. Aww .. If you've been a good girl you might be able to finagle one from Santa Claus. You could try kissing him 'neath the missletoe!!! *sings* I saw mommy kissing santa clause .. *sings*
  7. Nice review Angel. Chai is complex, savory and delicate all at once. Delicious! P.S. Did you cut your hair?
  8. It's so sad that's almost true, isn't it? Sigh .. will someone please unshackle me from these walls?
  9. Ahhh .. carts. Yes when I use them, though rare, I will put the bottom of the cart into a tissue or towel and blow through the little top hole which clears those vents for a little while.
  10. I think those cone shaped atomizers are the mega attys, no?
  11. Removing the wick should not be the cause of hot vapor, although PG does create a warmer vapor which leads me to ask "What blend of juice are you using?". Is the atty lr or standard? I used to wash my attys now I avoid it as much as possible. They take days and days to dry and can perform a little differently. Gurgling = flooding. Proper cleaning can fix this right up for you. Once you've cleaned it (blown through, wiped down, repeat, etc) try reducing the # of drops you're using. I've had experience with different 510 atomizers: standard vs low res, as well as a few manufacturers. I've also tried quite a bit of juice in varying blends of PG and VG. The thickness of the juice, whether or not you're using an lr or standard atty and who makes the atty factor in to the leakage. As Brian has stated it certainly does require some practice. But like moving into a new house, you'll soon be navigating your way in the dark without bumping into walls. Familiarity with your setup will happen, it just takes a little patience and lots of Q & A!!! Good luck guys and gals
  12. hawkize if you haven't already ordered I would suggest you take a peek at the usb eGo battery vs the mega batt. I, too, have the two standard batts that came with my kit and bought a mega as well. This set has served me well however .. Being able to sit here and vape endlessly without the need of charge is wonderful! Being able to unplug it and walk out of the house with a fully charged battery despite that I've been vaping for the past "x" amount of hours is almost miraculous in my book. I am truly enjoying the use with this battery. VT Store has these in stock, too. Go check them out!
  13. Oh man I laughed so hard I almost needed a mop! I should pass this on .. Thanks for the fall-out-of-my-chair experience, Nana!
  14. But she'd have kitty friends .. Mochiko & Onyx

  17. Oh man that's the funniest ****e I've read in a very long time. I was teetering, too.....trying to stay on my chair! Oh wow I hope you get your package today *crosses fingers* There isn't much daylight left ..
  18. I'd apply just to pat your package down. Maybe I'll happen upon your serious bone!
  19. Does this mean I shouldn't want Birddog poking me with a cattle prod? Well said Ron Paul. I, for one, do not want to be fattened up! Ok ok I know this is serious business but I can't seem to find a serious bone right now .. o h l a w d i e!
  20. I agree .. what a great setup for reviews. If I liked eggnog I'd try it just to see how it matched up to everyone else's varied tastes. Interesting and well done, TheGreen!
