Cartomizer Trouble On My New Infinity.......helpBuzzkill replied to Beans's topic in General Vaping Discussion Hi Beans , I was cruising around and saw this . most likely there were some LR cartoz mixed in with your order , it sounds like you got it worked out ?

FYI the Infinity released this week , we also have the VVPV coming up soon

One of the parts that really hit me is where SHE ( Gov lawyer ) says " well Pfizer spent all this money on the inhaler and they will loose that money " WTF arent they here to protect US ??? not the huge corps. ???

Glad you are enjoying it Bobthe ! Remember it is just a PV but I totally understand the excitement , the first time I tried VV on a desktop unit I built it changed vaping for me forever !

I also like the idea of a processor BUT the reliability is the question , the more parts / functions the more likely it is to fail IMO good idea , I know that Cisco is working on a Processor based PV soon as well.

What 5V Device Would You Recommend?Buzzkill replied to StringDancer's topic in General Vaping Discussion Tek It would have to come back to us for repair ( No user serviceable parts inside , except for maybe you ! ) It uses quality parts inside , I have been doing this a long time and know that good parts make the difference , THanks for looking , I know that people are skeptical about electronics but this is a simple device .

Das why not just use a switch ?? and can the Processor. Just saying Ok you can have $.01 back now

What 5V Device Would You Recommend?Buzzkill replied to StringDancer's topic in General Vaping Discussion Tek , the pot is not adjusted constantly , maybe 5-10 a week , good quality trim pots last a long time and can be adjusted many times without failure ( I have a test unit that is 6 months old ) Having a name like Tektronik I would think you of all people would be all over something that is variable ?? were you a troubleshooter in a former life ?? LOL ! As you know the quality of the components is Key , and the build quality. Anyhow being able to adjust the voltage is liberating IMO , also the regulation gives you the same Power every time ( considering that the res. is stable ) .

Dave on our web site there is a downloadable CHART that shows Turns VS Voltage http://www.notcigs.c...uemart&Itemid=1 Also you can at times use the LED to get an idea , the BLUE led will get brighter with higher voltages. Other than that you need a volt meter to set the start point.

No , and that does not preclude applying for a patent under US law I did contact them If you feel that the post is inappropriate please delete it I just find it funny that their signature reads QUOTE " Imitation..... is the sincerest form of flattery "

BTW we have already applied for a Provisional Patent Application for the variable voltage on a PV ! we should talk ??

The market is changing, expect to see even more changes SOON ! BTW we have already applied for a Provisional Patent Application for the variable voltage on a PV !

USPS Priority has been fast for most people so far ! when did yours ship ? to TX it should 2-3 days

The voltage adapter connects to the unit so you can hook up a volt meter easier ( not necessary but it makes life easier ) and set your vaping voltage , this will vary depending on the atomizer , I run a 901 type cortoz @ 5.0 volts running it at 4.5 volts makes a BIG difference IMO. Also as an atomizer ages and changes you can adjust the voltage to make it perform better. ( until it blows ! LOL ) Anyhow the "Buzz " is continuously adjustable from 3.6 to 6 volts REGULATED so it stays at that voltage ( within 2% ) during the life of the batteries. There is also a Low Battery circuit that cuts the unit OFF when the batteries reach 6 volts total voltage . This keeps you from over discharging the batteries and will increase the lifetime of the batteries and keep you operating in the Safe zone ( no over discharge of the batteries )

Check here http://www.ecigarette-mods.com/ this is probably the best list out there for all mod's

SO you are NOT using the Zener diode as a clamping diode but inline ?? humm weird use IMO but if it works then it does , are you sure it is a ZENER and not a regular diode ? Just curious , the over current limiter is a GOOD idea !! safety never hurts

There are lots of people who really need these things ( E-cigs ) and want them so it is a gold mine right now for scammers ! , They will eventually learn that they were burned , many of us have BEEN ! right ? I did a small amount of research and got a decent deal ( not the best but not to bad either ) Impulse buying is what it is ! Unfortunately the FDA and anti e-cig people will use them as the example !
