  1. VT Grape Soda is on my list of must try, along with Tasty Vapor Atomic Cyanide which is currently on order. Based off reviews I am sure it will creep into my top 5.

There is one of mine. Atomic Cinnacide. So obsessed with it. I'd buy a keg full of it if I could. Broke down and ordered 90 ml...

Also, Torque 56 from Halo, Blueberry from Vapor Galaxy, and Organic Peach from Vaperite. All incredible flavors that everyone should try.

  2. i'm totally going to get attacked for what i may say.

if she is using zero nic, likes the ecig, then i see no harm.

we all need some type of support, if she doesn't have an issue with it then nobody else should.

my female friend doesn't smoke but when we go out to the bar she loves to hit my caramel flavors that do have nic in them.

your wife is her own person and can make her own choices.

i wouldn't say "do this to help me".

the real question at hand is, what is it that you are missing from cigs that you arent getting with your ecig, causing you to keep smoking them?

+1 for Jolly. I am constantly repulsed by the hypocrisy in this community, and the responses on this thread have truly disappointed me. We preach that the ingredients in liquid are safe, yet we attack anyone who dares to touch even 0mg without smoking first. You guys are calling this a smoking alternative? How is it an alternative if you have to earn the glorious title of "Smoker" first? I want electronic cigarettes to REPLACE analogs one day, and so should all of you. This means that instead of people picking up smoking, they'll simply go straight to vaping. Problem? Do you need to damage your lungs in order to be eligible?

Sorry, but I am all for vaping without smoking. If someone can skip that deadly step, then good for them.

To the original poster: Welcome to the forum. I'm so sorry about these posts, and please rest assured, this is no indication of our usual demeanor. Stick around, we're usually very nice people.

EDIT: Oh yeah, do tell us what device you use. It might just not be strong enough to match up to your smoking habits.

  3. Honestly it's hard to say. Right now it's same old same old. Each side is fighting for their cause respectively. I think the 28th will most likely reveal quite a bit more information and possibility an ruling on the appeal.

 Thank you for the TL;DR version. I am too A.D.D. to read the whole thing, so I skimmed and got nothing.

I'm still extremely pessimistic. I mean, I would LOVE to be wrong on this one, but I just don't know. I kind of feel like this entire case is already over, they're just holding a hearing for the sake of formality.

EDIT: I just skimmed again. NICOTINE LOLLIPOP?! That EXISTS?! I NEVER want to hear this "electronic cigarettes are marketed to children" argument EVER again.

  4. IMHO thats how *I* feel, better safe than sorry, thats how I see my investment on e cigs, its only 25 for 150ml, check em out I got a bulk order from MFS, but might get the caramel tobacco at bluemist later, they have 80 different flavs.

Yeah I was already looking at their site, trying to choose flavors that couldn't be screwed up. Like I'll probably get cherry. I just don't want to buy 150 ML of something disgusting.

BUT I CAN BUY NOTHING UNTIL I FIND MY DAG-BLASTED DEBIT CARD!!! :wallbash:

  5. Honestly neither. I wouldn't worry about stocking up just yet. I suggest everyone waits to see what happens with the court case on the 28th

So do you think this will be one of those situations where the rules go into effect, say, 6 months later? Because if the FDA decides to shut down suppliers, which of course, is going to happen, then what if they're done for within a week? I am trying to figure out whether to buy 150 ML from BlueMistVaping, or get samples first. It seems kind of like there's not that much time left.

  6. i will agree with anyone and add one thing...

if she was a smoker, wouldn't that build up be from the cigarettes?? especially if she has been vaping a short time.

    just a thought :)

Read my mind! Did she have the crown when she has smoking? I cannot fathom how vaping could cause any buildup, much less black buildup. Makes no sense whatsoever.

  7. Very interesting letter. Clearly the FDA legal team is laying the groundwork for stiff regulation, but my sense is they're also thumbing their noses at the e-cigarette industry imo. I'm wondering though, could this (letter) backfire and/or could it be grounds for an appeal in the upcoming case? I would definitely have to do some research on this, but would soliciting the E-Cigarette Association be of any value now or down the road? The FDA appears deaf, but bringing this to ECA's attention and other interested parties, would that give us more of a voice?

The letter made me wonder as I was reading through it, how extensive was and is the FDA's testing of the known carcinogens (and yes, pharmaceuticals) in analog cigarettes as far as in "a manner consistent with protecting the public health". It's hypocritical beyond any words.

That's what I keep thinking. The FDA doesn't understand how bad they're going to look if they ban electronic cigarettes. They have been committing crimes against our health for a while now, but this one is going to be too obvious. They're trying to keep cigarettes, but ban electronic cigarettes. If they actually follow through, everyone will finally realize the scam that they are operating. It is going to be bad news for us, but REALLY bad news for the FDA.

  8. Sounds awesome!

And yeah, PG allergy DOES exist, but it's not common. Things we use every day are full of PG.

And as for her smoking patient, that is intense. My friend was in the hospital for a couple weeks with a punctured lung. The second she got out, she limped out of the hospital and lit up a Newport!

  9. I found that you can go the drug store and get a bottle of VG and vape it straight from he bottle, doesn't taste too bad and has no nic but makes lotsa vapor and it should get you by till the mailman arrives.A good time to practice vapor rings as it really does make some vapor.

Never tried this, but it'll work!

Honestly, I had the same experience when I first started. I took the filler out of every cartridge I had, and stuffed them in the corner of a zip-lock bag. Then I cut a tiny hole in that corner, and salvaged some remnants of liquid. This didn't get me too far, but for a bit, I was vaping some awesome vanilla kona pineapple cherry coconut liquid. Yum...

  10. It's always best to be sure not to overfill your carts/cartomizers and always wipe excess liquid with a paper towel or baby wipe :) Eventually, I have no doubt, bottled liquid will cease to exist in the future. My guess is, cartomizers will be the ultimate future of electronic cigarettes for safety reasons.

Question for you, or really, anyone with input on this...

Assume that electronic cigarettes are legalized.

    1) Do you think that they'd be made with the same fittings we use now, or will they come up with some off-the-wall new fitting? This would make our current devices obsolete, unless people were allowed to make and sell adapters.

    2) How would they be distributed? By prescription? Could you buy a pack of cartomizers at the gas station? None of the above?

    3) How would the purity compare to what we vape now? Do you think they'll include any fun carcinogenic surprises?

Your prophecy sounds pretty realistic, and if I must, I will deal with it; but it seems like there is too much that could go wrong.

  11. Oh, also, what makes a good replacement material for the wadding in cartidges? I'm doing the full-time student thing on my GI bill right now, so I'm always looking for ways I can cut the demands on my wallet in the long-run.

People actually often replace the filler with some sort of blue foam that you can buy in sheets at a pet store. It is supposed to work a lot better.

Maybe someone will come along that knows the exact name of the stuff.

  12. I don't want regulation. I've said it before, and I'll say it again; do we want our liquid regulated by the people who approve cigarettes? The FDA has no problem with them, and they... you know... KILL PEOPLE. If they get their hands on it, our liquid will contain chemicals that serve no purpose other than to kill us slowly. If we're going to inhale something full of deadly chemicals, why not go down to the gas station and buy a pack of cigarettes? Much easier to maintain than an electronic one, with the same delicious and deadly additives.

If they want to regulate it and keep it clean, AWESOME!

But, who here HONESTLY thinks that they would?

  13. Blu isn't good alternative. They do a good job advertising and making people aware that there is an alternative that isn't made by a pharmaceutical company; but, they work terribly. You're much better starting with a 510 or eGo like Popsicle said! With any eCig you can inhale the vapor into your mouth then into your lungs. Some people like pulling the vapor directly into the lungs, while others into the mouth. It's all personal preference but with those two units you'll get the hit you want.

You'll also save a lot of money not buying expensive replacement parts and liquid/carts.

    ^AGREE^

Blu is all marketing. Their site and advertisements are beautiful, but as a company, they are awful at best.

And I forgot to mention it, but Nero is right about inhaling. The problem is that vapor dissipates within seconds. If you have a good unit, you get a lot of vapor so it goes down well. With Blu, you barely get any vapor in the first place, so by the time you finish a drag, most of the vapor has faded away.

  14. Additional note, I didn't elaborate on the 510 and eGo much.

I recommend the eGo because it is higher voltage and has a MUCH longer battery life.

HOWEVER, I know some newbies insist on something that is shaped like an actual cigarette. In this case, go with the 510. The 510 is basically like a much better version of the Blu.

The eGo is not huge by any means, but it is definitely not cigarette-shaped.

  15. Welcome!

I started with the Volcano, which is basically a re-labeled Blu. All the problems you're having are completely normal. If I may be blunt and honest, I think it's a terrible product. I'd suggest you get your money back and invest in either a Joye 510 or an eGo. The Blu-type models are incredibly unsatisfying for... well, almost everyone! If you'd like to stick with Blu, then yes, buying your own liquid makes the experience MUCH better. But at the end of the day, the alternatives I mentioned are relatively cheap, and MUCH more satisfying. These can be found in the store here on Vapor Talk.

As for analog cravings, it is completely normal. It's because smokers aren't just addicted to nicotine, but the other chemicals in cigarettes. E-liquid doesn't have these other chemicals, which is GREAT, but your body needs to work out all that analog grossness. Just vape as much as you can, and if it's not doing the job, smoke an analog! And don't feel bad about it. Lots of people, myself included, had to do this. There is no right or wrong way. Smoke an analog and keep trying.

  16. Basically what they are saying is..you can put your life on the line for us but we wont let you enjoy the freedoms that you're serving and fighting for.

This is a variation of my first thought, which is this: So they're expected to risk their lives for their country, but they're being inhibited in their attempt to lengthen their life? Then I found out that it's not banned, it just can't be done indoors. Still, I have to say, why does it matter? Now it is just an unnecessary rule that could potentially deter productivity. HIGH FIVE, YOU GUYS!
