Thanks for the warm welcome you all. Glad to hear it's more laid back here! I go to some bigger forums and while there's tons of info, sometimes it gets a little crazy and OT with the members bickering about what devices and such are best. Nice to find somewhere where I can just kick back and relax to chat it up about vapor. We all have things to learn and things we haven't experienced... vets can learn from newbies the same as newbies can learn from vets IMHO!

Everyone has their preferences, but I have yet to see someone complain about the Vision Vivi Nova tank. Get one of those and a metal tube and cracks will be a thing of the past. The heads are extremely easy to replace as well... as is the tube. Metal cartomizers work as well as someone mentioned. And if you want them to hold more juice, there's TONS of metal and glass tanks for cartomizers. My favorite is the Odyssey but it's a bit pricey, around $40.

I think we would all do well to consider how we're affecting our own economy by spending money on China products when there are comparable USA products available. For me it's not about who is cheaper, or who is most trustworthy, but how what I put my money in to affects the economy. E-cigs in general have became a booming new market. There's a ton of potential for Americans to own businesses related to it and add more jobs to the job market. What are we doing for our economy by sending our money overseas for this stuff? Nothing good... after all, it's not like China exactly does fair trade with us. We import their goods, they import NOTHING from us... when we are already in very deep debt to them as it is. Personally, I'm a lot happier with my USA made juices that are all natural, freshly mixed, custom ordered, and delivered within 3 days. I've tried a lot of China juices but none of them have compared in flavor to some of the USA juices I've found.

The TH depends a lot upon the flavor and volt/watt setting you're using as well. Flavor depends also on how much flavor is actually in your juice. I can't vape any PG above a 50/50 ratio (slightly PG sensitive... more than that and I start getting headaches, sore throat, fever, etc.). But I've found if I add an extra flavor shot to my orders I get just as much if not more flavor than a 70/30 or higher ratio... and also that I can increase the TH by using a slightly higher volt/watt setting than "normal" for my device's sweet spot. I've also noticed some flavors give more TH... for example, sour flavors... I always have to turn my volt/watt setting down on those because at normal settings they just about choke me with the TH.

I agree about the Vivi Nova. Make absolutely sure you get the original Vision Vivi Nova though and not one of those generic Chinese knockoffs... the Chinese ones leak. Boge, Smoktech, and Innoken also make great rebuildable tank systems. As far as clearomizers go, CE2s are my all time favorites, but CE3s and CE4s are also good. Again, avoid Chinese knockoffs here... they're very inconsistent in their coils and may be listed as 3.2ohm or whatever but actually be a lot lower than that. Also worth mentioning are cart tanks. Boge F17 and Totally Wicked's Odyssey are both great cart based tank systems.

Just as a warning, those CE4s sold on FastTech are Chinese knockoffs and thus, the ohms vary a lot from one to the next. The pack I ordered never went above a 2.8ohm reading... some of them were 2.0ohm, one was a 1.9ohm. Personally I didn't like them because they didn't seem to agree with my naturally flavored 50/50 juice... about halfway through the tank I would have to empty it because it would start burning the juice and left it tasting extremely nasty.

Hi folks, I just signed up for an account here and wanted to drop by and say hello. I'm searching for an e-cig forum that is a little more laid back/friendly (i.e. not a lot of pointless arguing), still gets technical discussions (like modding), and is pretty active. Have I came to the right place? If so... it's great to be here! I've been vaping for about 3 years now. I'm trying to learn as much as I can at this point with the ultimate goal of building my own devices/modding. I started out with a Titan Tank, but have been using APVs for a little over two years now. Right now I'm using a Vape-Pro, and I have an Evic on the way. There's a lot of variety to my vaping habits. I like trying new juices all the time and have a huge list of flavors I like. I also have every resistance and type of cTommon delivery system, all of which I use frequently depending on the juice I'm vaping and what I'm in the mood for. My device settings also are changing constantly for the same reasons. Sometimes I feel like TH, other times not... sometimes a lot of vapor, other times not... etc. I seem to have a special addiction to drip tips, LOL. Constantly changing them out and buying new ones that interest me.
