I have had issues with CE4s leaking in my case. CE4s are fine, but next order I suggest trying a Kanger T2 also known as Ego CC Long Wick Clearomizer on many sites. I have never had one leak at any point and other than one Kanger Pro Tank I use at home they are the only thing I use any more. I started with CE4s, they work ok but tended to flood with liquid and all leaked at some point. The T2 is much easier to fill, holds 2.4ml, and you can replace the coil and wicks when they go bad for around $2 and the unit itself with a wick in it is $4.39 at Veteran Vaper in the Marketplace here. I have a couple dozen of them.

Vapedudes Spearmint and Candy Cane are equally #1 in my book. Just ordered 200ml of each lol

FDA to release "deeming" regulations October 2013
bcartervol98 replied to Christopher's topic in General Vape News
Blu first off thank you and all those like and before you for your service and sacrifice. I in no way mean or meant to belittle anything you or those before you have done to ensure our freedoms. My outlash comes on the heels of legislators not service members and is pointed at all the things that are done on a daily basis that our founding fathers would have not only disagreed with, but would have actively joined the fight against them. The overall "nanny state" attitude our legislators on both sides of the fence exhibit makes me very emotional and sometimes maybe I do not phrase things correctly. I think if the Democrats would stop worrying about mandating those of us that have busted our asses to attain a little wealth and taxing-regulating us out of existence and the Republicans would stop worrying about mandating and legislating their personal beliefs on everyone and both concentrated on the actual issues facing our country then we would return to greatness. In terms of rights, the constitution has been trampled on by both sides and nothing is done. Legislators sit idly by while illegal search and seizures, spying on citizens, warrantless and unfounded in many cases, and do nothing. Our governmental system in the modern era is a joke, and has become a system of who can offer the biggest bribe is the winner. If there were a law enacted that would make it a major felony to accept one penny beyond your actual salary paid by the taxpayers and eliminated lobbyists, PACs, and all the others that buy and sell our legislators votes like any other commodity then maybe people would find their way to DC that are interested in solving problems not lining their already full pockets. I understand your stance Blue and appreciate it, but in no way was I or would I attempt to belittle your or anyone elses service. -
Depends on the clearo-tank you are using. I store mine in a case all day laying vertically on my desk at work and never had a leak once I started using T2 clearos and dumped the CE4s. I occasionally would have a leak with a CE4. My Kanger Pro Tank lays on its side all day at home every day, not gonna risk it getting knocked over and it never has leaked. When at work I have a coozy I keep on my desk for pens and highlighters-markers etc and I stick it in there all day but mainly because its easy to grab and take a pull in my office. I dont think it matters in the least unless you have a faulty clearo or tank that is prone to leaking.

Oh they are back in stock now, have been out for a while. I may order another one just for the value of it. Two 1000mah batteries alone cost as much if not more.
-
I easily get 24 hours out of one if those in the starter kit, guess it depends on how much you vape. Of course I mean 24 hours clock time not camping time. It's almost exact too. If I put one fully charged on at 5pm it is within 30 minutes or so of 5pm the next day when it flashes dead.

1. MAH: I say go for as much as you can get. Eventually you will have several different ones most likely. I have 2 Vision Spinner 1300mah, 2 EgoT 1000mah, and 2 Ego mini 400mah in my arsenal and use them all at different times. The Spinners are great for higher voltage tobacco and coffee flavors and with larger appliances like the Kanger Pro Tank or Vivi Nova tank. I am using the standard 1000mah more than anything else, seems to be right in my wheelhouse as far as voltage goes. I vape a lot, and they last about 24-30 hours on one charge and charge in about 3 hours. I just got the 400mah, they charge in about an hour and a half and last me about 6-8hours (too soon to tell an actual time, first one is still going that I put on at about noon but I can tell it is about to die) 2. Liquids: I only order from 2 sites. Sweet-Vapes.com and VapeDudes.com. You will get countless recommendations on this, as everyone has a unique palate. Some liquids people love are vile to me and vice versa. I find Dekang disgusting, Evo from Nicapure about the same, and am not a fan of Mt Baker Vapors even though a lot of people love them. This is where you will spend the most money imo, finding what you like. I have probably given away 1000ml+ of liquids I tried and didnt like. Also you have to find what mixture you like. Most places standard is 50% PG ad 50% VG but I like more PG so I order 70-30 and 80-20 depending on which supplier and what they offer. Also nic levels. I use 24mg exclusively but smoked light analogs. The 16-18mg just didnt do it for me, still doesnt. I want a strong throat hit over a huge cloud of vapor, even though I get a ton of vapor from my higher PG mixtures. 3. Clearomizers: I prefer Kanger products over anything else I have tried. The T2 is my favorite all day appliance, but the Pro Tank is the bomb but expensive, heavy, and fairly easy to break if dropped. 4. What else do I need? I think you need at least 2 batteries, a charger (I have 4 one for home, one for work, one for the car, and one for the boat) and a case. I made this thread a while back, it may help you. Happy Vaping and welcome to our world!

what the heck do you vape essential oils for ?

No problem, just wasnt sure everyone knew about this. The last thing the government needs is more ammunition against our cause to keep vaping legal. PM is a great function for these discussions lol. -
FDA to release "deeming" regulations October 2013
bcartervol98 replied to Christopher's topic in General Vape News
Big Tobacco controls a lot of this, and until they either 1. Control the sale of vaping gear and liquids and profit from it 2. Get it completely banned They will spend millions to push us back toward their products. Sad but true, and we live in anything but a free country. Going to not get long winded about this, but between 2002 and 2010 I earned about 30% of my annual income as an online poker pro. I played anywhere from 2000-2500 tournaments a month and made and extra $25-$30k per year from such. In 2006 Senator Bill Frist and a key group of senators stuffed a non-debated non-discussed clause (UIGEA Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act) into a "Safe Ports Bill" that they passed at midnight on the last day of the session. For several years everything went on as normal until what we deem as "Black Friday" then the US DOJ decided to freeze them assets of most major poker rooms. They immediately stopped allowing US players and made it difficult to cash out on some sites and impossible on others. It was a travesty, since online poker has absolutely 0 to do with "safe ports" and no one could withstand in an election year to have a vote against safe ports on their voting record. I lost about $5500 total in the debacle, and worse than that no longer had that income stream. I paid my taxes, reported all winnings offset by losses. It hurts to pay an insane amount of taxes, about 34% adjusted for my bracket, and have them tell me what I can and cannot do with the money I earn. Of course I can go over to the convenience store across the street and buy lottery tickets with every penny I have on pure chance, but a game of skill is too harmful. I could stand there and scratch them off with all the others that go the day they get their government check and hang out until all my money is gone just like they do. But I cannot play online poker with the taxed income I legally earned in the privacy of my own home. I have to go to a casino, away from my family, and sit bored getting 15-20 hands per hour where online it was more like 350-400 hands an hour playing 12-16 tables. Bottom line is when someone refers to this as a free country, I have to laugh a little inside. It is nothing close to free. / rant -

Oils that come from a plant that is illegal............... -
And I really think someone is mistaken thinking there is 9 grams of nic in a single analog. I could be wrong, but I think that sounds awful high even if you meant milligrams. Again, not a scientist. I vape about 2ml a day of 24mg nic liquid and I remember doing a conversion somewhere at some point that equated the 48mg I was getting a day to a pack and a half of analogs (I think Camel Lights were the sample used)
-
24mg nic means there is 24mg per ml of liquid. A 10 ml bottle of 24mg liquid would contain a total of 240mg of nicotine.

I may try it. The thing is I really like the bottom feeder aspect of the KPT and once I go through the rest of my T2 coils and accessories I may try something different. The MT3 is pyrex also? I was not aware of that. I am no expert, not quite 90 days into my vaping experience, but have found what I like. I was all crazy over my Vision Spinners and still like them for the rare occasion I vape a tobacco flavor, but since my preferred voltage for everything else is around 3.5-3.7 I use my stock Ego batteries a lot more than the spinners. They stay at home now and are no longer in my case for "on the go" vaping. I use them with my KPT because they balance the weight best too. It is an evolution, but I am not buying anything else "new" for a while especially until I see what the regulations do when released in October. There is not a brick and mortar store with any decent stuff within 100 miles of me that I am aware of, and if I cannot readily order the flavors I like online I will probably just give up vaping and cold turkey off the nicotine all together. At this point I have no doubt I can do it, I just don't want to lol.
-
I couldnt agree more. Between the wife and I we were spending about $550 per month on analogs. I do not have that much invested in everything I own to vape and have over 1000ml of liquids, 6 different styles of batteries each, and a couple dozen T2s and about the same in replacement coils. I could theoretically vape at the rate we do for about 8 months on what we have without buying anything else but I know that will not happen lol.
-
$19.50 would never break me, but when I get ~90% the production and taste out of a T2 with same cost replacement coils at 20% of the price of a KPT it is not about affording it as much as seeing the value in spending the money on it. I keep about 20 T2s in my case, Brian at Veteran Vaper can attest lol. I never get below 10-15 replacement coils. I already ordered 10 for my 1 KPT I do have. I just dont find it portable, it is extremely breakable, and while it does produce slightly more taste and vapor than the T2 I just do not find the value there for me personally. Affording it is not the issue, it is the value that I am not all the way on board with. Given the choice of 5 T2s or one KPT for me the value is not there. If they were $9.99 I would have a dozen most likely.
-
Maybe the price will go down on the current model once these come out and I will stock up lol. Its the same I do with phones. I upgraded from IPhone 3 to Iphone 4 when the Iphone 5 came out haha. Getting a 5 in September when my upgrade rolls around, hoping 6 is out by then so my 5 is cheaper. I call it "frugal".

I just call it "the weekend" in spring and summer. I go from October until April with only a handful of drinks then blow it out all summer. Maybe "Winter Liver Restoration" lol

Poll The First - Your Analog Type
bcartervol98 replied to ddavelarsen's topic in Polls and Questionnaires
I smoked 2 packs a day for 27 years. This was my first attempt to quit at all. I also think "quitting" is a little justification because I view it as switching to a cheaper and healthier alternative. My first order was 16-18mg in a 50-50 mix and I didn't think I would be able to do it. Then after research I ordered 70-30 and 80-20 blends in 24mg and now I cannot imagine ever smoking an analog again. The difference to me between 16-18mg and 50-50 compared to higher PG blends was like daylight and dark. I really do not have any intention of lowering the nic levels but that may change over time. -
I have gotten to where I never go above 4v unless its a tobacco flavor. I have even sidelined my Spinner 1300mah to use with my KPT at home and when vaping my Tobacco flavor. I find I prefer my stock Ego batteries for all other flavors and I think they burn about 3.5-3.7v. I especially like the taste I get from the 2 Ego minis 400mah I just received.

what the heck do you vape essential oils for ?
bcartervol98 replied to Christie's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Only illegal in 47 states though lol -
I use 24mg in all settings and I think I vape about the same amount when I drink as when I do not. The only thing that I have noticed is I dehydrate a lot faster than when I smoked analogs when drinking. Then again, its nothing for me to put down a 5th of Makers Mark in a day on the lake lol. I do not even drink at home, and hardly ever anywhere but the lake. I even keep all my liquor on the boat, there is never any at home. I am one of those "I don't drink a lot, but when I do, I tend to drink a lot" kind of people lol. Because of the sever dehydration (cottonmouth, ankles swelling, etc...) I have decided starting this weekend I am on a ratio of 1 bottle of water for each drink I ingest. Should help.

Look at your ticker, you have saved over $300 in a month and a half, you have $300 for the next month and a half? Think about it that way. Just hate to see you lapse.
-
You can buy a clearo for less than a pack of analogs. What about the next pack, then the next one?
-
Dude pull up your bootstraps and don't do that. Seriously?
