  1. Do you still need the email addresses or the letter, I would be happy to post? I appreciate your effort and what you are going through. I am from NY and am sure I speak for all of us when I say Thank You!
  2. Wow! Love your letter. It would be a nice alternative letter for others to send should you publicly give permission for others to do so. Thank You for sharing it.
  3. Thank you Chris! It is really nice to see other people helping. The first time NY started the process to ban E-Cigs, I was stunned and had no idea it was even about to be banned here in NY. It had just passed the NYS Assembly Unanimously! What is even more shocking was the Video clip of what transpired during that vote. http://www.youtube.c...h?v=Yc2iMn7EZ5Q It showed the complete ignorance of those representatives of the people who voted with a complete disregard for all the facts we now know were sent to them by many professionals and groups. It showed that they did not do any homework or read anything before voting on this matter, just like the Obama Health Care Bill. They did not know what these devices were and most had not even seen one. They also changed the section that was prohibiting these devices from only minors to also now include adults. How arrogant! They took the word of a bias Committee Member, Mathew Titone who helped to sponsor this campaign and Bill and claims as a smoker, "he has tried them before". He goes on to say "what is truly shocking" are claims he makes based on his 11 year old nephews story of being able to go out and buy one with no questions asked. Such evidence is hearsay with no actual fact, evidence or an adult witness, which Mr. Titone who is an attorney obviously knows is wrong to do. During this same claim he calls it "a delivery system of nicotine and other chemicals, and marketed as a stop smoking device that delivers an unknown quantity of carcinogenetic chemicals into a person's system". This statement alone shows he has NOT done the research or homework and not based these statements on any real facts. For an attorney who is supposed to be trained to make representations based on facts and evidence, this is truly shocking. He no longer is defending the life of one person but the entire state of NY. The fact that these people do nothing to prepare and educate themselves before voting on bills that effect our daily lives, and do it with such arrogance should have people outraged in every facet of oppression that is continuing right now, including our very freedom according to a constitution they oppose, defying the very laws they were elected to uphold. These people pay themselves outrageous paychecks to do very little but attempt to control us to THEIR own benefit not ours. I have NOT looked up what recently just occurred, but last research I did after writing, emailing, faxing and phoning all the representatives from NY's last attempt to ban e-cigs was that it still had to pass the NYS Assembly "Health Committee" and then be signed by the Gov. to complete the process of banning. In other wards this is "last chance to fight NOW"! If it passes here in NY other States will follow. Does anyone know exactly when the NYS Health Committee is scheduled to vote on this matter?
  4. Thanks FTJ, Yes I was on the single page for TW. Now with your link to multipack, the price is right! I wanted some of those thick gold band attys like TW has. I had 2 that came with my kit, and they were great. The links I had put on forum yesterday all of a sudden are back to the low prices. $5 atty, $10 Joye 510 Mega Batteries, and $1.99 multi-adapters. https://www.cleansaf...Multi-Adapters/ Go figure! LOL!
  5. Thanks FTP, I went to TW and put 10 Atty in cart, just to see, and it would not take off the 30%.. I was not about to check just to see if they would finally take the 30% off. LOL!
  6. Sorry Everyone, Scap that. The atomizers were $5.99 last week, the Mega Batteries were $10.00, and they do not have many adapters. They raised their prices since last week.
  7. These are the cheapest Joye 510 Atomizers I have found online if anyone is interested. Also these Joye Mega 280mAh 510 Batteries are nice and the cheapest I have found also. Nice in between the VP-PT. They also have cheap adapters. 9. Wow, BigJim, I see you are truly an inspiration among men. You have some wonderful and very true things to say in your bio especially knowing God will have you end up where you are supposed to be. I am so glad I am not just standing out here all alone with some things I believe or experienced, and not afraid to say. I am believing you will end up with the longer end of the stick before you know it. God Bless you! Thank you for sharing!
  10. Hi Kitsune, Thank you. Things are great now. How about you? Your right, I think I am going to get in trouble here for being off topic. I wish someone else would tell some of their experiences or start a new topic. I am not good on forums, never found one until now I felt so good about. People can be very mean today and I don't want to be a part of that. There are such wonderful people here, I know I was led here! I see so much real love and care here you don't normally see online. If you don't believe me, try some of the other ecig forums. I saw many people fighting, swearing and some things that turned me away I could not even speak of on some other forums when I was trying to just research maybe just certain topics or ecig products. Thank you for being part of this good forum. It really is special.
  11. Hi there DayVape, I try to be. Marlene had such a special heart for people, and I believed our agreement in prayer matched our hearts exactly as sort of soul partners for God, in how much we both loved God and Jesus and how we both Loved and felt for others in need. It was a wonderful Prayer Warrior match! I have had prayer partners in the past, who's hearts, were NOT really in it with as much Love and maybe you could say, a special way of life one may try to live. A certain type of purity so to speak would be the only way I can describe it. Not perfect, no one is. LOL! Might sound strange, but I am careful who I pray with in agreement that they are truly sincere in prayers and hearts. You would be surprised how people may say one thing but in their hearts harbor something different. Now, I always let God pick and find anyone I pray with or to call a Prayer Warrior or Prayer Partner. Actually I pray for this first now. A friend of mine that my son and I used to work with in his ministry always said, he never advertized his church. He did not even have a listing for it in the phone book, and no doors were ever open. He used to say that God would send people to him, and somehow they would find him usually in some strange way. I learned much from him especially about God and Prayer. Sorry, short answer, yes I try to be a Prayer Warrior, now I need to pray for God to find me another to match. I truly believe that just some things really need a spiritual bond of agreement in prayer!
  12. I just wanted to add one more thing. I hope no one here is offended if I relate this last thing. It has more to do with strange miracles and anything being possible. I was so depressed when all of this happened, and I did not even have a way to get to Court which was at least 200 miles away. I had to postpone my Court appearance for another month and ask my friend to pray with me for a way to get myself and son there. My prayer partner lives in another state at the opposite end of the country, so we would pray by phone or Skype. I normally do not pray for anything like this, but being so nervous for another month was not helping, so we prayed for a way to get to Court, and a special sign so that my son would stay calm. I asked that when we got to Court that God would give us a sign he was there with us working things out. The following month about a week before our Court date my son ran into an old friend of ours at the corner store that we had not seen in years. He asked for our phone number to try to reach me. Later he offered to drive us to Court. When we got to Court on the given day, while we were waiting nervously to be called to deal with our case, the Judge called the name of our friend who drove us there. HE FREAKED OUT. He said, "I only gave you a ride here, I did not get a ticket or in any trouble, why are they calling me by my name". It turned out there was someone already there with his exact same name, even his exact middle name. Then I remembered my prayers and how I asked for a sign I could not mistake for his presence and our answered prayers. The friend who drove us there had us laughing all the way home about this freaky miracle, as only he could appreciate something like this. He does some street preaching and often sees some strange things himself. I always saw miracles when Marlene and I would agree in prayer for just about anything or anyone. This is just one example of how anything is possible and a real trip along the way too. God Bless you all, for God has blessed me again with all of you! Thanks Brian and Dave, you are all so dear and such sweethearts, while I feel a loss of a friend, I also feel blessed by all of you!
  13. Dave, the spending buying habits with spouse, that is probably why I would be terrified to marry again after what my X spouse put me through. LOL! Don't feel bad, even without one, I was so broke when I started to look into this ecig device on this same forum. I had lost 2 jobs, and was on this forum trying to learn what to buy on credit while I was trying to go cold turkey. I had about a week of severe struggling, when new neighbors started blasting music 24/7 and pushed me over the edge. I then decided I could NOT afford to go to the local store here in N.Y. anymore, not even for 1 more pack of analogs. The prices here are just too outrageous. So I went to the Indian Reservation. On the way back, just as I said to my son, "This will probably be the last time we go to the Indian Reservation", (I really believed because of all you good people on this forum that this electronic cigarette device was going to work), I suddenly hear a siren and flashing lights. Oh, great, like things were not bad enough! I ended up with three tickets related to my very old jalopy that I keep trying to hold together just to have some transportation and trying to keep above water. From there, I was terrified what was going to happen when I showed up in Court and did not have any money for tickets. To make matters even worse, my son who is multiply-handicapped was given a ticket. They said he did not have a seat belt on, but he did. My son cannot defend himself in a Court of Law, and not good with answering questions, especially when stressed out, and Courts are a Big One for Stress. Now I am thinking they are going to put me in jail because I cannot pay the tickets, and my poor son will not be able to care for himself. I will never forget how this journey to try to quit analogs started for me, given this story. I had ordered my Joye 510 kit, but I had not received it yet. I knew when I got my kit and my one bottle of ejuice that I could cut the "Nic" down with VG if need be. Problem was, after I did get my ecig kit, the only place I could get VG without waiting for shipping or spending more money I did not have was to go to Wal-Mart. I could not get there, because the inspection sticker on my car was expired, thus explains one of the tickets I had received. A really good Sumerian on this forum sent me some ejuice after I began to get ill from the high "Nic", or I may have given up at that point. I had a carton of analogs from the Reservation, and I still do. I could have easily gone back to analogs when I got ill. But instead, because of the help I received on this forum, I have not had a single analog since I got my Joye 510 kit and started without any analogs the following day. As for what happened about the tickets and the Court, I spend much time praying. I also wrote a letter to the Judge about my son. I did not want to have to embarrass him in front of other people in Court by revealing all handicaps in public as to why he cannot answer for himself. I prayed that somehow I would only have to pay $50, and they would not stress out my son. My prayers were answered exactly as I asked. The Judge even winked at my son, and he smiled with such relief as we left. As for the good Sumerian, who helped me from this forum, I was told to "pay it forward". I did just that finally on the 1st of this month. Besides showing this device to anyone I can, there is a girl who lives in the lower apartment from us who smokes. She finally revealed to me after I showed and let her try my ecig months ago that she too could not afford to buy one. Another single Mom struggling. I gave her everything I started with and then some once I got the VP-PT, and a few other things I long waited to get. USBpassthroughVP, I know if I can do it with what I went through, I know you too will do really well. There really is so much to learn, and the people here are so knowledgeable and helpful. I know that you are in good hands here if you need any help or any support, don't be afraid to ask any of us. I believe this is important. And the fact you are already here asking questions shows you're already on your way to being free from analogs. I almost forgot, you asked about where to put the drops. Dripping was already mentioned, but here is a video that shows how to top off your cart, instead of dripping. Also Dave is right, it is hard to buy every ejuice in every strength. You can always cut down the "Nic" strength with VG or PG. You can get VG at Wal-Mart. I would not recommend buying the highest "Nic" level of ejuice to start with. If you can afford it, it is also good to try some other flavors of ejuice. You can even mix a drop or two with whatever flavor you have picked to try to match whatever type of analog cigarette you have been used to in your cartridges. Sorry, I guess I am jumping the gun. You can buy pre-filled cartridges with ejuice, but I think most don't do this all the time because it is costly, so they may buy bottles of ejuice to either fill or top off their cartridges with. So make sure to buy yourself some extra cartridges, called "carts" if you go this route. There are some really excellent Videos on YouTube to show just about anything you may want to see how to do. Try this one about topping off your cartridge with a bottle of ejuice: http://www.youtube.c...h?v=q9PVrsCC5-0 Only difference, the Joye 510 does not have an inner cart like in this Video, but that just makes it easier. Sorry guys for the long story, Hope this will encourage others that anything is possible, and Dave brought up the buying collecting habits. I also wanted him and his spouse to know without God and this forum, I would not be here doing so well! I thank God, this forum, and also a good friend and prayer partner who prayed with me during this struggle and recently (last month) passed away very suddenly. I always saw miracles happen whenever we agreed in prayer together for all we knew and all we could of this world, my heart is so sad now to know the world lost a real angel, my friend Marlene for whom I will try to carry on her same Love, Compassion and Prayers for others as well as her Great Faith! USBpassthroughVP, you are in good hands here on this forum. I will be praying for you also!
  14. Hey Joe, good to hear your advice and see you around. Really Good Advice too! What is with the cat, it looks pretty freaky? Where did the cute funny ones go? LOL!
  15. Hi USBpassthroughVP Welcome! I agree with FTPJoe about going to "0" nic. I started with a Joye 510 kit, as many from this forum recommended to start with. It was a great choice. I set a plan to start with the Joye 510 and work my way down to "0" nic like FTPJoe and others here. I did it just using the Joye 510 kit and a Joye 510 PT so I would not waste my 510 batteries at home, and went to "0" Nic in a very short time. Recently, I did get a VP-PT, because I wanted to have something I knew would NOT break on me (like the Chinese made PT's did), and something I would never have to spend money replacing. I saw Chris and Shawn's Video where they ran over this device with his car, and that sold me for sure besides made me laugh so hard. Also I became very upset at finding out that N.Y. was in the process of banning these devices and I realized I may not have much time to get a few things besides trying to stand up for the cause. I have to say, everyone here had the best advice and help that besides this device, made it all seem so effortless. The only other thing I can add is to avoid the one mistake I made. I had started with 1 bottle of ejuice that had too high content of nicotine in it. I thought because I had been a heavy smoker that was what I would probably need. Wrong! It made me ill. It was ok once I got some lower nic ejuice and worked my way down to "0" from there. The VP-PT is really nice, but if you still use nicotine ejuice and keep vaping on this device, especially for someone fairly new, it may be too much because it is 5 volt and can really produce some vapor and maybe too much Nic drawing in. With the VP-PT all you need is an atomizer, maybe an extra atomizer just in case your first one dies, I would suggest the Joye 510 atomizer, some carts, maybe some extra filter material to use in your carts or to change for later, and try a few different ejuices. I can't even use my VP-PT all the time, it is sometimes just too much even with just flavors or menthol. Good to have something else like the Joye 510 Manual to switch to in between and have something you can take with you. Hi All! OK everyone, now I finally see the light too, why everyone keeps buying different devices and spending so much on these things. I admit I could not understand it before. Each one is a different experience, and it is becoming more like a hobby. The flavors are becoming more like a pacifier with the hobby of collecting different devices. We now have our own little culture around it too. LOL!
  16. Hi There Nick, Welcome and Thank You for your comment. You joined up with a really nice group here. I can't stand to watch the Video any more. I just try to do anything I can to fight it now.
  17. Great article Chris. Society made me ashamed of smoking, so I tried to hide it from people I just met. I just never mentioned I smoke to anyone after a while. Then, upon finding this device and being successful I felt like I could finally do something to try to help any one else I saw smoking. At least I did until I found out they may vote against it. I have been doing everything I can to fight it now, so others can quit too. Now I am just ashamed of N.Y.
  18. Hi twinnie, Great, used to live in N.C. I loved it. Thanks!
  19. Hi There missxenobia, Thank you so much for doing this. Ironically, I had not been around myself for a couple of months after being ill. I no sooner came back on the forum and it happened. I had no idea they were even voting on it. I started vaping a few months ago, going on four now and only had time to get a few basic things. I thought I had time. I feel like a deer caught in the headlights.
  20. IMPORTANT: For Any of you that can help out in N.Y. I am including two premade letters, one short, one long, you choose. You can edit it, email it, fax it, snail mail it. Or you can even call these Reps. Remember people, what they do here in N.Y. they may do in your State next. NYS Assembly already voted unanimously to ban these devices to include ADULTS. It is now in the hands of the New York State Senate Health Committee. See YouTube Video, if this does not make you angry, nothing else will! http://www.youtube.c...player_embedded THIS IS NO JOKE! Here are all the addresses, phone numbers, addresses, and fax numbers of the N.Y. Senate Health Committee: in .doc format attachment you can download somewhere here Look for "NY Senate Health Committee Info.doc" At the very bottom of this post for download! Calls, snail mails, faxes, and e-mails are all helpful. And if you already sent letters (via e-mail, snail mail or fax), follow it up with a call. Thank You for any of your help. Please write/fax/call NY Senate Health Committee members: SHORT VERSION LETTER TO SEND, FAX, EMAIL: PLEASE REMEMBER TO PUT YOUR NAME ON IT, AT THE TOP & BOTTOM BEFORE SENDING. I have heard that S7234 would ban the sale of electronic cigarettes/nicotine vaporizers completely and that I would no longer be able to purchase them in New York State. I am sure that as one of your constituents, you do not want me to start smoking tobacco cigarettes again, but this will be the unintended consequence of the proposed bill. These devices are the one thing that finally helped me stop smoking after trying so many other ways. Tobacco cigarettes deliver many dangerous chemicals, but electronic cigarettes deliver nicotine without those dangerous chemicals. I can breathe better and I feel better. I don't cough and I don't smell awful anymore. I know that you have been told that they contain many dangerous chemicals, but this is not true. I would please ask you to get more information on the device and to educate yourself before voting on this bill. I am a member of the National Vapers Club and they have a short 8 minute video and a webpage that we can send to our legislators so that they may educate themselves. Here is a link. http://www.vapetube....onic-cigarettes http://vapersclub.co...turepacket.html We hope that you will take the time to educate yourself so that you can help protect the health of your constituents who use this device instead of smoking tobacco cigarettes. Thank you for your time. Re: S7234: (Same as: A9529 Versions: S7234). Electronic Cigarettes/ Nicotine Vaporizers SUBJECT: URGED: DO NOT BAN ELECTRONIC CIGARETTES/ NICOTINE VAPORIZERS FOR ADULTS-AMEND BILL TO UNDER AGED ONLY BILL S7234: Same as: A9529 Versions: S7234 Dear Representative of NY State Senate Health Committee: I urge that you do NOT ban the sales or use of Electronic Cigarettes to Adults, according to the Bill that has already been voted on and passed to ban these devices in the NY State Assembly. It is my understanding it is next to be considered by your Committee. The Bill is A9529, which would ban sales of the far less hazardous tobacco alternatives known as Electronic Cigarettes, (Bills A9529 Versions: S7234). I am a person who has personally switched from regular tobacco cigarettes to the electronic cigarette. I have been a heavy smoker for many years. I have tried many alternatives that have not worked or helped me until now. I have switched, and NOT had a cigarette since. I can personally attest to the many Health benefits I have already personally experienced in NOT smoking regular tobacco cigarettes any more. I no longer have that terrible cough and I breathe better and feel so much better. My over all health has improved dramatically, no more terrible tobacco odor, or 2nd hand bad smelling tobacco cigarette smoke, no more ashes falling or burning holes in clothes or property, no more yellowing effects to property, clothes and belongings, and no more chance of loss of property or lives due to the use of a combustible cigarette! Another one that also benefits my entire family, my pockets are no longer being picked anymore by the hyper inflated over expense of tobacco packs of cigarettes to which I could do nothing about, not even quit which I tried and tried and tried. Even my family has noticed the improvements, and are deeply upset because of the good changes they have witnessed and experienced that you may now take away if you further the Ban on these electronic cigarettes, from all of us which includes them. Yet if you ignore our voices, our facts, and our experiences, and that of the many professionals and organizations that have already sent you the facts in support of these devices, you will most likely force many of us back to a tobacco cigarette that contains over 4000 chemicals added which include hundreds of known carcinogen, poisons, and other harmful products NOT shown to be in any electronic cigarette. You will also facilitate the continuance of more loss of property and lives due to the combustible properties of the same tobacco cigarette that our U.S. government is NOT allowed to Ban just TAX! What message are you sending to all of us with the financial backing and taxes that all of you seem to be supporting by such actions, FROM BIG TOBACCO COMPANIES KILLING US, while banning an alternative that has already proven to millions to be a much better and healthier, and safer alternative. Assembly Video on YouTube: Vote on Electronic Cigarettes: http://www.youtube.c...player_embedded As an Electronic Cigarette user, I am personally shocked by the recent events of the N.Y. State Assembly. I have viewed the Video of their actions to ban this device and pass this bill. What is even more SHOCKING was being able to witness via the Video the fact that the majority of members who voted did not even know what this device was, failed to read any of the information sent to them on our behalf from various organizations, laboratories, real testing's, and even the support of the device from American Association of Public Health Physicians, as the Representatives failed to educate themselves on the facts, and further witnessed the sponsor's false misleading statements about what is truly less hazardous tobacco alternatives, by Jeffery D. Klien (Sponsor-Senator), Linda B. Rosenthal (Sponsor-Assembly Member) and Matt Titone (Assembly Member) were even more SHOCKING! Quoted from: http://www.casaa.org...icleID=94&l=a&p= "The evidence presented [to the Assembly] by Ms. Rosenthal was inaccurate and misleading. The FDA and several other labs have already analyzed electronic cigarettes. They know exactly what is in them and were unable to find anything indicating that they are a danger to the public. Electronic cigarettes are marketed and used as a less hazardous alternative to traditional cigarettes, not as a cure for nicotine dependency," Douglas said. In his opinion in "Smoking Everywhere vs. FDA," U.S. District Court Judge Richard Leon agreed, writing: "Because plaintiffs sell their electronic cigarette products for customary recreational use, those products (just like traditional cigarettes) are properly excluded from the meaning of drug or device under the FDCA." Judge Leon concluded that the FDA "cites no evidence that those electronic cigarettes have endangered anyone" nor presented "any evidence that electronic cigarettes are any more an immediate threat to public health and safety than traditional cigarettes, which are readily available to the public." "To hear [Rosenthal] describe them, you would think electronic cigarettes are worse than traditional cigarettes and that is not what the research is showing," said CASAA medical director, Theresa Whitt, MD. "No toxic levels of any chemical have been found in any electronic cigarettes tested by the FDA nor in those tested by several independent labs. After two years on the U.S. market, there have been no reports of illness or harm due to electronic cigarette usage." There is also copy of a letter online from American Association of Public Health Physicians to another senator, with valid information in which they support these electronic cigarettes, and states: Parts Quoted from this fax letter: http://www.ecigarett...l#ixzz0mXsNI042 "Fax March 27, 2009 To: Senator Lautenberg Fax: 202 228 4054 Subject: Please Cancel Opposition to Electronic Cigarettes Honorable Senator Lautenberg: Research to date has clearly demonstrated that smokers smoke because they are addicted to nicotine. This same research also shows that the illness and death due to cigarettes is not due to the nicotine, but due to products of combustion and, to a lesser degree, toxins in the cigarette tobacco. On behalf of the Tobacco Control Task Force of the American Association of Public Health Physicians, I therefore urge to consider the following: 1. Withdraw your proposal to ban electronic cigarettes. 2. Urge amendment of the proposed FDA/Tobacco bill to encourage the development and marketing of safer alternatives to cigarettes, under strict but fair FDA oversight, and with marketing restrictions in place to reduce the numbers of adolescents who initiate use of cigarettes and other nicotine delivery products." Read more: http://www.ecigarett...l#ixzz0mdGfFZkM Assemblyman Rosenthal made a statement that, "they deliver toxic chemicals found in antifreeze and carcinogens". There is an eliquid used in many of these devices that contain what is known as PG-Propylene glycol, is also approved by the FDA, for use in foods as: Taken from and parts quoted from: http://en.wikipedia....ropylene_glycol · "While it is used as a less-toxic antifreeze in solar water heating systems. · "As a humectant food additive, labeled as E number E1520." In other words, it is already in the foods we ingest and considered safe. It is absolutely devastating to see that such representatives make these kinds of decisions that we now know are done every day without any real forethought, often without any knowledge of what it is they are even voting on, or care to the facts that effect our everyday life, and often without our knowledge or input. We can see assembly members even twist and misconstrue what little they claim they know NOT to our benefit, despite all the real information and tests sent to them showing there is a real misunderstanding regarding this issue and on any real conclusive or substantial facts. IT IS ALL SHOCKING! Assemblyman Matt Titone says "he tried them and that his nephew 11 years old can buy this with no questions asked". I seriously doubt he ever tried one as a smoker of tobacco cigarettes or he would be in support of them, and I notice as a Judge, aka, attorneys who are normally experts with how they specifically use or misuse words, he did NOT say, "his nephew did try to buy one and he or any other witnessed it as an adult that the vender was about to sell it to the 11 year old or in fact did". Remember what Clinton said about sex! First, I would like to say I have personally yet to see any Kiosk selling these devices to any persons under age, or any online store. I have went to several online stores to witness that those all do in fact ask if you are over 18, and notice all who are under age it is illegal to enter or sell these products otherwise. Also what adult gives their child bank or creditcards to buy these devices online or does not try to watch what their children are doing and accessing, especially when there is free porn available to all online. I do ask that these devices NOT be sold to minors and do support that enforcement of such. However it is my right to have that Bill or any other related to be amended to allow the use and sales of these devices to ADULTS only, that my decision to use or not use this device NOT be controlled or eliminated by any government. Don't you think people are angered enough by big government controlling every facet of our lives and what should be our own individual rights, (unalienable rights) and decisions as adults? It appears that Assembly's vote was heavily influenced by inaccurate claims made by the bill's sponsor, Linda Rosenthal (D-WF), who claimed the products were marketed "as products that help people stop smoking," are "sold to minors" and contain "toxic chemicals.", despite having been presented with extensive scientific evidence and numerous testimonials about the health benefits for smokers who switch to electronic cigarettes. We hope that you will take the time to educate yourself so that you can truly help protect the health, our right to choose, especially the choice of something we are already personally finding to be of benefit and a great help in our lives and the safety of your constituents who use this device instead of smoking tobacco cigarettes. (Health Welfare & Safety) Thank you for your time. 21. Hi Chris, I wasted much time doing research so I could put together a decent letter/email to send reps in NY. I went to Kristin's link you had put for the collation, but because it said, "if you are a member click this link", I failed to see she already had a pre-made letter and all the real email addresses for N.Y. Senate, not being a member or any link to sign up. She did make it easy to send one email to all Senators in N.Y., that I did not see until much later. I tried to email her to ask some questions, never heard back. I tried to post on the forum on the subject you started for NY ban, the email and address for people to use with Kristins pre-made email, but I now don't see anyone answering the call. I feel like I am fighting all by myself. Am I missing something? Where is this Coalition , or the people concerned? Is there any way to direct people to this quick email to send if they would like to help? http://www.vaportalk...rk/page__st__56 Thanks, Judith Reply from Christopher: Sent Today, 05:21 PM Well if you posted that, everyone in the thread will get an auto email update. It can be hard to get people to fight. It's something we deal with all the time, most people don't want to fight until it's to late. (lazy) It looks like you have some awesome links and I hope everyone sends the emails out but whether or not they will I cannot say. I would suggest saying the same thing you've said to me here in PM on the forum. Let them know this isn't a joke. At this rate it's very likely the ban will go into effect. Did you know Vapor Talk also has a store? Visit our Store! Starter Kits, VT E Liquid and more! Then may we meet upon the level and part upon the square...

  23. Hi All, I wasted so much time trying to go back and do all the research I had done three months ago before I even started vaping, just to have the facts to put together a decent letter and email to send to all possible Reps here in N.Y. Then I had to waste more time trying to find their real email addresses, and not the limiting web forms I found along with all the Senate fax numbers. I had gone to the link Christopher put up for the vaperscoalition, but because I was not a member, I did not follow up with the links on the bottom of their page. The links said" if you are a member", so I passed them by especially when I could not find out how to become one. I came back later after wasting 3 days doing more research. Long story short I am believing Kristin won't mind if I put these direct links here. She already did all the work I was still trying to do on my own. If you go to these links she has a pre-made letter/email for you to send with all the email addresses. You can just send one email to all by putting the email addresses into either C.C. or B.C.C. This would just take you a few seconds of your time to do and help us in N.Y. as well hopefully in your subsequent States. I have also found some other information posted in other places that I will include in a later posting. I did just email the Vapor Coalition. PLEASE REMEMBER TO TYPE IN YOUR NAME ON THE BOTTOM OF HER EMAIL/LETTER IF YOU WOULD BE KIND ENOUGH TO SEND IT. Thank You, and God Bless us All! http://vaperscoalition.org/NVC.html http://vaperscoalition.org/CASAA.html Christopher, is there a way to email all who posted on this topic to please use these links for a pre-made email to send to the N.Y. Senators, to encourage them to do so if they have not already? Thanks! OR ANYONE WHO STILL WANTS TO HELP CAN USE THIS INFORMATION BELOW: To contact the New York Senate Copy the following email addresses and paste them in the “To:” section of your email. duane@senate.state.ny.us, farley@senate.state.ny.us, fuschill@senate.state.ny.us, hannon@senate.state.ny.us, johnson@senate.state.ny.us, jdklein@senate.state.ny.us, kruger@senate.state.ny.us , larkin@senate.state.ny.us, little@senate.state.ny.us, montgome@senate.state.ny.us, saland@senate.state.ny.us, sampson@senate.state.ny.us, scousins@senate.state.ny.us, athompso@senate.state.ny.us, valesky@senate.state.ny.us, winner@senate.state.ny.us, cyoung@senate.state.ny.us Copy the following and paste it into the “Subject:” line of your email… OPPOSE S7234: Electronic Cigarettes/ Nicotine Vaporizers Then copy the following and paste it into the body on your email and then sign your name … Senator, After many years of smoking, I now use an electronic cigarette/nicotine vaporizer instead of smoking. I don’t cough and I don’t smell awful anymore. (REPLACE WITH YOUR NAME) _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
  24. Hi Hudsonkm, I saw that post. Thank so much for it, it is encouraging and very knowledgeable. I admit many of us in N.Y. are in a panic. I forgot to look up what the American Lung Association had to say so I can dispute that too. Thanks sooooooooo much!
