  1. Welcome, and good luck kicking the fire. I am relatively new as well. I started with the Blucigs, and their vanilla is still my favorite. I have started to experiment different flavors and it is a blast. Kind of like an alchemist. Have fun and experiment! Ask questions, these people are great.
  2. I just got a 1.6ml CE4+ Long-Wick clearomizer and am loving it. Fits perfectly on my Joyetech eGo.
  3. Ordered it looking to increase vape time at work without carrying and refilling the stock that came with my joyetech ego. Just filled it, took a couple hits and it is vaping better than the stock system. And since I got two, I tried mixing a little brandy and chocolate liquid and wow. These things are awesome.
  4. Welcome to the forums.
  5. Welcome, glad you came in from the dark.
  6. or even http://www.volcanoecigs.com/lavatube-version2-kit.html Too many choices.
  7. Try looking at the following, see if maybe something there will get you going. As I said, I am looking into one of these, but dont know which at this point. Still researching myself. http://www.vaporkings.com/JoyeTech-eVic-s/3081.htm http://www.smoktek.com/VAMO-Variable-Power-VV-APV-Rev2--Gun-Metal_p_537.html
  8. Well, you can try the Joyetech eVic. It is at $130, I believe. You can dial in the voltage and whatnot to hit your sweet spot. I have not used one, but it is on my radar. I was just reading a post about the variables. I have the Joyetech eGo with the 650mAh batteries and the are lasting me about 6 hours or so. 3-4 if I am hitting them fairly often. I got my starter from VaproKings.com as they are having a sale and i have a coupon code for another 10% off: VKBC http://www.vaporkings.com/Joye-eGo-kit-in-matte-black-Genuine-JoyeTech-p/ego-kit-black.htm is the kit I got and it is $69 and change, making getting 2 kits below your $150 price range. and yes, I am typing this from the gutter.
  9. Are there any meet-ups in the Louisville, KY or Southern Indiana area?
  10. Lower nic for me. above 18 mg upsets my stomach for some reason. 18 is my sweet spot. as for size, I like to try different flavors, so I buy lower quantities of different flavors. the only flavor I buy more than others at this point is Vanilla. This will probably change if/when I get a tank.
  11. Looking to try some different flavors and such. Saw their banner ad on the top of the site and clicked over. I like the flavors they have (Vanilla and Irish Cream, especially) but has anyone tried their liquids? What are your opinions? Their prices are a touch higher than the liquids I currently have (VaporKings) but price does not always tell the whole story. I read their verbage regarding the VG/PG and Natural vs artifical. It all sounds good, but do their liquids hold up and taste good? Hope someone can give a hand to a noob.
  12. I just found a mix that is like eating candy. Chocolate and Brandy. I didn't do any kind of mixology or anything, just took two fluids and put them together. I did a 50/50 mix of the two and man, smoothe with a slight bite from the brandy. I also started stepping down the nic ratios. Doing the 18 now instead of the 24. Found the 24 was making my stomach upset a bit. 18 is a good sweet spot for me, personally. Most of the guys I know now are still at 24, but they were heavier smokers than I was for much longer.
  13. Robv1978, how do you like the CE4 eGo? I am looking to get a few of those (one for the house, one for work and one for out and about).
  14. My friends who vape recommended the Joyetech eGo kits for a nice "includes everything" starter kit. I got mine from VaporKings and they are having a sale. They also have a persistant coupon code for 10% off "VKBC". No, I dont work for them, not even in the same state, and I get no kickbacks. It is just an easy kit to buy with everything (but fluid) included. I started with the Blucigs, and was happy that their cartomizers work well with the eGo batteries. No wasted money on cartomizers, and if you run out of fluid, a pack of the Blucigs (walgreens and most supermarkets in the US carry the cartomizers for Blu) can get you through until your fluid arrives.
  15. I started using the BluCigs (their Vanilla is awesome, just seems expensive). I have since gotten a Joyetech eGo starter kit from VaporKings. Being fairly new, I know I will have questions (mainly on tanks like the CE4 Cone Clear atomizer for eGo) and mixing liquids. I mixed 2 today (Caramel and Green Apple) but they were not DIY. Anyway, just saying "hey" and looking forward to participating and learning a lot.
